You know a restaurant is good when the line to order stretches all the way to the back door. But never fear, the line to order moves quickly, and the food delivery is equally speedy. I ordered the steak combo which was a wee bit dry, but who cares - I smothered it in some beans and rice, and gobbled that thing right up. Delicious! The food is very tasty. Lomp salteado is very good. I have only seen the other plates but look very good as well. Service is avg, certainly not happy to be there working. Always a hit with my kids, they love the chicken saltado with white rice and the white cream sauce. Only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is because the amount of onions in this dish is overwhelming and they occasionally skimp on the chicken (don't think it's intentional because it's not always the case). read more

This is a Horrible restaurant. Service is bad and the women at the ordering counter are rude. The whole restaurant has this filthy look with tables bangged up, corners exposing the under material and chais that dont hold. We asked for chicken well cocked and it was like talking to the wall. They ask you for tip before you even get the service...the entitlement is rampant... The people atending this restaurant all eat like if they have never eaten with cutlery....The ceviche is withTilapia which is a cheap horrible fish for real Peruvian Ceviche. I dont know if this place is a franchaise or not but they need a new manager. Batherooms are filthy and a good reflection of the poor sanitary standards of this place. STAY AWAY!! I have been a client of this place for 15 years, I recommend it and I enjoy it with my family, but since a manager arrived who uses a plastic mask not suitable for covic 19 and also with mistreatment for clients and employees, I see how people do not come with the same confidence to enjoy the comfort of the place. I eat la granja every week and I will never get tired of it. My top dishes are ceviche, chicken, fried fish, or the lomo saltado. This place is great for the whole family and is cheap when sharing with a large group of people. The service is fast and friendly. read more

Great joint to get very decent and reasonably priced seafood and Peruvian food. Service is relatively fast considering is not burgers and fries. People are not overly friendly but not rude at all. I can see English speaking customers having a bit of trouble ordering as most of the staff only speaks Spanish but not a big deal. We do eat here regularly and food is very consistent. If you order take out call in 15 to 20 minutes in advance and you will avoid waiting. For the price is the best deal in Weston, Davie and surroundings. read more

I only have one negative about this place and that is the Unfriendly Poor Attitude of the staff. Other than that I love the food and the prices are amazing. I go once a week and deal with the cold and grouchy staff anyway. If you like Seafood try either the Chupe de Mariscos or the Macho Fish. Found this place by accident on vacation. Prices are good and we enjoyed the food. My husband got the seafood rice and enjoyed it. I got two sides, plantain and yucca. Both delicious! I saw a review that mentioned an attitude towards non-hispanics here. I am as white as you can be. No one was rude, but when I asked for "plantanos y yooka" instead of "plantain and yucka" (the anglo pronunciation), the lady acted like she couldn't understand me. Most inconsistent place of business I've ever seen. The only consistency is their lack of customer service and good attitude. Every time I order its a problem. One visit I bought the ceviche fish,I say I wanted the sweet plantains on the side,then I noticed it wasn't added on the recipient so I VERY NICELY approach the cashier about it and he goes "oh you don't tell me nothing".no apology, blaming it on me in such a condescending manner. He asked me if I wanted shrimp and scallops with the fish,I said no,and it was still added anyways.I make another visit about 5 days later,with the same cashier.I order the same exact thing,the ceviche fish but this time he asked me if I wanted it spicy or not,in which he didn't ask me that last time.and its like night and day on what I had between the 2 visits.this one was cold,it was like raw fish in very thin cutlets,with an awkward piece of sweet potato (cold as well,so gross) with kennel corn and little onions.it wasn't a filet,wasnt piping hot,nor was it drenched in the sauce,in which is mainly what draws me to deal with the same nonsense each time.so I ended up throwing out 13 dollars worth of food because I had it to go.infuriating.its such a shame because I would be giving this place such good business because its really the only "fast" food I can have (since I'm pescatarian). read more

My fiance' and I LOVE La Granja. It is so damn good and consistent, that we actually have La Granja every Tuesday. We get the whole chicken special with a large rice and black beans for like $13! But wait there's more! From the whole chicken meal, I clean the meat off the bone and have lunch for the next 3 days! Its just good rotisserie chicken really fast. I have had the grilled chicken and it was ok, very flat and not worth the money. The skirt steak was good as well but uber thin also. Stick the rotisserie chicken and you'll be glad you did. Get some onions w/jalapenos up front and some hot sauce and enjoy the hell out of your meal for like $5 for lunch with a drink. Or get the whole chicken meal and feed the family well for less than $15. Can't go wrong with this place... read more

First and last time I'll visit. The A/C was not cool, the floors and overall aspect of the place was not very sanitary. The food was not worth the wait or the money. I'm hispanic but the food here is mediocre at best. There's similar restaurants like this around that offer better quality for less money. The food is really good as in any other La Granja but the customer service at this location in Weston, SUCKS! The cashier doesn't even greet the customer or look at you in the eye. I ordered 2 meals to go that included drinks, she didn't even ask what I wanted to drink. WARNING!!!! DEBIT CARD STOLEN at LA GRANJA. Store located in Weston Fl, at 1908 Weston RD, 33326. On 8/8/19 my Debit Card was STOLEN there. And I said stolen, because it was. The cashier did not give me back my card. And as I walked away, I got distracted talking to a friend who paid right before me, within seconds the customer behind me warned me that I have forgotten my receipt. I went back to sign it, my card was not at the counter. So I assumed it was already in my wallet. It wasn't. Later at night, I received my bank alerts. 4 or 5 charges, almost $600 dollars total were charged. Although I can't prove and say that it was the cashier who charged the card, but I am certain that she is responsible for not properly handling back my card and failing to even getting back her signed receipt before moving on to the next customer, in addition to being very rude (not a sentence, not a thank you). This is currently under investigation. I went back the next day, spoke to the manager and asked if they had my card, he called her, and she asked when, and then said they had no cards with my name. What really surprised us (went back with the same friend), in addition to the flashy...sparkling new MK watch she was wearing while working in a kitchen, was the stack of "lost" credit cards they had in the cash register!!! When I told them that my card was used, she simply replied "report it, block it." No apologies or remorse. The manager only reply was that he was sorry and he will take note, after I asked him to properly train his workers and warning him that this was of course under investigation. Needless to say I will never be coming back to this "restaurant" (food was questionable too), or any La Granja; I warned all my coworkers of this incident, I work in the Weston area. I hadn't been to this place for at least 2 years so I went there for dinner. I was average then and it's terrible now. The place seems like it was put together in haste, terrible decoration, terrible layout. Service is terrible.First the young lady taking the order had this "I hate being here" attitude. She literally ignored my requests and the other lady calling out the orders had to take all three orders back to the kitchen for correction. Then there was the food: TERRIBLE. The beans were old, stale. The fried yuca? may as well chew cardboard. The sauce station was disgusting, with lids inside the sauce. How can the ownership let a business go down hill? Never get it. I was in the area and want to grab something quick to go. Well, food is average. Chicken burned even thought I clearly asked for well cook not burn. Services from the manager that was at the register was horrible. As I was placing the order, he was tune on the soccer match that was on TV. So, I waited around until he bark at me to ask for my order. He rang me up and I ask, why the bill was so high considering that I had an item for 5 dollar and one for 14. Well, second bark come around and he went up to repeat the order. Once again, I said that not what I order please fix it ... Instead of being apologetic, he was defensive and rude. I had to put him in place and remind him that we were the customer.. I will make an official complaint to corporate and to the manager running the place. Not acceptable behavior.
