I'm from out of town and went here with my sister. The space in an industrial space with a hip vibe. large garage doors are probably nice open in the summer but still a little chilly for that. I got the chips and guacamole. the guacamole could have used some more spice. pretty much just avocado which was still good. the chips are large and homemade which I really liked. I got the fried chicken taco and the brisket taco. athe chicken was really good but the brisket? Oh... My... Goodness. I loved it. it was smokey and tender! I highly recommend that. This is the worst experience I have ever had in food service. My friend and I arrived at 5:20 and stayed for 3 hours. We ordered appetizers and had 3 drinks each. The service was terrible and pregnant waitress was rude (Amanda). I asked for another round and was told that we had reached a 6 drink max per person. Shocked I asked to speak to manager. I had him review our tab which clearly showed we had 3 drinks each over a 3 hour period. I also noticed upon further review of tab that we were charged food that was never delivered (I had assumed waitress only heard request for one taco order). AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Mark the manager stood by waitress and refused service to sober patrons. They attempted to overcharge us for food not delivered. NEVER AGAIN!!! BYE, BYE! read more

Wow. Just blown away. Jalapeño cheddar biscuit, spicy fried chicken, fried egg with bacon sandwich. Perfection. The biscuits are perfectly moist and packed full of flavor. So disappointing. We waited for 40 minutes for a table and eventually left. We had gone there the same time the week before and waited 25 minutes for a table. That time, we did eventually get seated and served, and the food was decent. We hoped the long wait was a fluke, but it was unfortunately not. Man! I have never seen a restaurant go from being 4.5 to 5 stars to 1. This is crazy, they were super good and the menu was great. Now they are just overpriced Tex-Mex but when you go to a real Tex-Mex place in the south they bring salsa chips and often cheese sauce to the table for no additional charge then follow up with great tasting food. Had dinner here last Saturday. The food was expensive and mediocre. Unlike the vast majority of Mexican themed restaurants they did not provide complimentary chips and salsa, although it was available for a $3 charge. I had the steak fajitas. The steak was cooked well and was tasty. But the accompanying vegetables (peppers and onions) were not well done. The flour tortillas, although heated, were dry and tasteless. This was also the case with the flour tortillas my wife had for her carne asada enchiladas. I did get some guacamole, cream, and tomato with the fajitas but no cheese. I requested some cheese and received a very small paper cup with some grated cheese and another with cojito - along with a surcharge of $3! Our companion's tacos were delivered cold and she had to ask them to be redone. The chili con queso (with chorizo) ($12) appetizer had very little chorizo and the cheese flavor was barely detectable. The restaurant was very loud due to a large crowd and hard surfaces all around. I think there was music playing but in the hour and a half we were there all we could here was the bass line. No idea what music it was. All in all, I will not be going back. read more

Man we loved this spot prior to the Tex mex transition. My Partner and I have been two times now... The portions are small and overpriced for food that you could get anywhere else at a better price point. The drinks were expensive but tasty. If I was looking for a margarita on a hot day I might seek the spot out again sometime in the future, but honestly, at the price and quality( combined with long wait times), I likely won't be back anytime soon. read more

The ambiance is nice and would be a nice place to just meet for drinks and conversation. The food unfortunately was pretty sad. My wife ordered the chicken enchiladas and I 3 tacos. The tacos were pretty small and bland and the enchiladas were just okay (not much flavor as well). The amount of meat in the tacos was laughable, literally 2 shrimp in the shrimp taco and the brisket taco had a thin 3" piece cut in half (I was expecting more form a $5 taco). Brace yourself, there is a trend here....the guacamole was missing lime and salt, so again not much flavor. The best thing that we ordered was the kids quesadilla and French fries sadly. read more

My husband and I recently tried this out in response to a gift certificate sent to me by the former Industry Restaurant after I wrote an honest review that wasn't super thrilled with the experience. We visited Industry several years ago. Obviously the restaurant has undergone some changes since then. The good: we enjoyed the outdoor table. It was a pleasant evening for eating outdoors, and with Covid concerns, we appreciated the good ventilation. Also, we liked the chips and salsa. He ordered two tacos: smoked chicken and dorado (fish). He liked them both. I ordered three tacos: dorado, shrimp, and brisket. The dorado wasn't that great. I make better fish tacos. It had a little finger of fish in it, and very little lettuce or cabbage or whatever it was. If the amount of fish in the taco is going to be tiny, add a lot of slaw or something. Also, whatever the red spice was that the fish was coated in just was not very appealing. It seemed kind of flavorless. The shrimp taco was better filled, and I enjoyed the texture of it, but again, the flavor was lacking. I almost couldn't even taste that it was shrimp because of the coating. The brisket taco was really good, and had some pickled veggies in it. I liked the brisket taco a lot. In addition to the tacos (which are priced at over $5 apiece), we ordered one side of Spanish rice and one side of black beans to share. They were fine. But frankly I think rice and beans should be included at the price of tacos they were charging. The service was both overly attentive (felt rushed by repeated visitations before we were ready to order), and under friendly (no acknowledgement of thanks for refills, and not very helpful answers to questions about the menu). It was ok. High prices for food that didn't wow us, and a hurried atmosphere in spite of a restaurant that wasn't overly busy. We won't be back, although we did appreciate that they honored the gift certificate from the previous restaurant. We don't actually live anywhere near, though, so going back would take a very big effort. read more

Ordered a to go order at 4:56 PM for pick up at 6:00 PM. Arrived at 6:01 and was told it would be another 5 min. Finally got my order (over $75) at 6:18 PM. Obviously they didn't start cooking my order until I got there. No manager said sorry for the delay. No one said they were just getting back into the groove after covid. No one offered me a discount on my next order for the delay. Nothing. They really need to work on their customer service skills. The manager needs step up. Hope things get better I the future. Industry used to be our favorite local place. Hope the food tastes good. Update: just finished dinner. I had carne asada, it was the toughest piece of meat I have ever had. The flavors were great but definitely not worth what they charged. Sorry, I've had good Tex Mex food before. This place doesn't compare. Soooo, overall, don't order food to go and be prepared to pay top dollar for average food. Sorry La Industrial, you don't get my vote. read more

Great atmosphere, servers very sweet, food flavor delicious. Only one negative is the portion size. Your $7 drink will be sippy cup sized. My shrimp taco although delicious had "2" shrimp on it which left 2 inches of nothing in the tortilla. It definately needed 3 shrimp. So portions small... flavor large. read more

We just came here for the first time and absolutely loved it. The patio is great, the bartender made us great cocktails and which our server made happen. Our server, (Sophie or Sophia?) was a delight and was very attentive, our food came out as we requested, our drinks were never empty and although it was busy we were very well taken care of.
