In the mall, what do you do? I've been looking for new places to try, but when it comes down to it, pizza is probably something I want first. I actually thought about Pizzeria Uno across from the mall, but I have had 50-50 success with them all over the country. I also considered Charley's Steaks because they do a better cheese steak than some places in Philly. (After 8 years in Philly, I'd been to quite a few places.) This place looked reasonable and the pizza seemed safe without appearing too mall food-like. They had a $7.99 deal with two combo slices and a drink, but I chose just one and a drink, and it came to $7.94 with tax The woman behind the counter was friendly, Everything looked reasonably good, but you know, they have to prepare a lot ahead of time, so they aren't slammed and out of food. I think it was a bit dry, but not horribly so. I'd like to order a whole pizza and see how that was to give a real judgment on their food's quality, but it was reasonable for the mall, as I usually don't expect too much. read more

If you want to eat at a place, that's ran by teenagers who feel indignant and could care less about customer service, go here. Not to mention, bring $20 if you want a couple mediocre cold slices. The reason for the one star is for the way the employee handled the food. While retrieving the pizza slices, she used her BARE fingers (mind you she has long acrylic nails on) to separate the slices! After I asked for my pizza to be warmed up, she told my friend who ordered after me, that THOSE slices just came out, "did you still want me to put it in the oven? They were the only 2 pepperoni slices on the pan and it was mixed with 2 cheese slices (so I know they didn't just come out or else it would've been a whole pizza) As she proceeded to grab some baked ziti for my order, she used her BARE fingers once again to pull off the stringy cheese and put it back into the dish. As for The Stringy cheese on the plate, she used her BARE fingers to pull up into my food! This employee was also eating and drinking while serving customers...talk about unprofessional! You never once see her put gloves on, wash or sanitize her hands after dealing with the money/register or handling the food! As I was asking for what I wanted, I was given a hand to the face basically being told to hush so she can ask if it was "to go" or "for here." She mimicked the way I asked for my food saying, "Yeah, I had a few girls come and ask "Can I get two slices of this pizza? Duh." Like many others reviewing, I was surprised that mall food could be so good. After eating the lasagna with bread stix, I ask my husband to bring home food from there whenever he is in the mall area because it's so delicious. I noticed a reviewer said his food was cold. I have noticed they usually put it in the pizza oven to heat it up a bit, but I always ask for it to be extra hot. They have assured me that they will put it back in if necessary...and it's never been dry or screwed up from the reheating...always moist, and the bread is like just baked. I'm certain if you are unhappy, they will respectfully do whatever it takes. I've seen them reheat for other diners. But like I said...I start out asking for extra hot which has worked for me. The portion is big enough to share, but I'd rather get two and have leftovers. I've had the pizza, ziti and salad too...all great. But the ground beef lasagna is my favorite, and I can't stop choosing it. I like sauce added to it which may be a given, but it didn't cost extra. You can make it a combo and add veggies or fried potato chunks too. The price is medium,I would say...just the lasagna with two large soft bread stix and a drink was about $11. The guy who served me..Gene, I think...was so polite and even carried my food to the table. He was patient and really helpful...made me feel like family. The seating is comfortable and somewhat set apart from the busy food court. I highly recommend this place for delicious hot food, comfort, good prices and friendly staff. read more

The food is usually good, but today it was horrible. My pregnant wife had to wait 20 minutes before the ziti pasta was ready, after we had already paid. The young lady at the cashier seemed overwhelmed and eventually was frustrated. After 20 minutes, the ziti finally came out and was undercooked, as it was cooked in a rush. Being a busy pasta stop, the person in charge should know that the ziti shouldn't be running out, even a half empty batch would lead someone with common managing sense to start another batch. The pasta was delivered to us, and placed on the next table, and just a quick "sorry for the wait" and server was gone. I know these young people don't really care for these food jobs sometimes, and it's just a paycheck, which I can accept, but whoever is in charge of making sure the flow of food is going well, needs to be on top of their management skills. read more

Pizza was pretty good for mall food. Selection of items included meat loaf, salad, pasta, and even fruit salad. Green salad was basic, but good. Servers were horrible, though. I was next in line and the servers just disappeared. All of them. I waited for someone to run the counter and a manager came out and asked "Who's next?" Not even looking at the customers. She ignored me and she helped another lady who had just arrived, who was in her line of sight. Then she was rude again when when I stated I was next. I used to really like the food here. But last night, my friends and I ate at La Italian Kitchen while we were shopping at the Vintage Fair Mall and 3 of us ordered the baked ziti. While it was good in the moment, 2 of us woke up the next morning with swollen uvulas from allergic reactions. My daughter and I went shopping and decided to eat here. In past I have had very good experiences here. This time far from, when we were ordering the lady behind the counter (who I couldn't understand in the first place) was talking to us and looking at a gentleman who was on other side of lobby area. I began to tell what I wanted and she cut me off to speak with the same guy. She had her cell phone in hand as well. We able to order our pizza and she turned to the oven for another customers food.
