Burrito was dry and bland, just meat rice and cheese. I don't recommend the Burrito service was good the ambiance was decent.

Service was fine but food was very meh, extremely salty! The salsa was delicious though, particularly the green one.

Tlayudas are absolutely delicious. It's hard to find the real thing, and this is it. Carne asada tacos are also excellent.

Good service and food. Haven't had a good gordita in a while. Really recommend getting the tlayuda too. It has a nice crunchy texture.

Ordered food online via their website and drove there to pickup. Timing was prompt but my order didn't pickup via the automated machine scanner, so I knocked on the window and someone was kind to help me. Pick-up food hall parking is small and crowded during peak hours, but at least it goes fast since it's all pick-up. 1 lunch entrée + one-size smoothie cost were both fresh, but I found the protein portions meager for the price as it was just a few pieces of meat, heavily tofu and all vegetables. I've order twice from this location and they're consistent with the flavor and quantity. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was their red salsa, I tried the green one and that was delicious. The staff were attentive, gave great menu recommendations, and constantly came by to refill our water. Very spacious dining room. We started with the Queso Fundido, served on a small hot plate with chilis, garlic, and oil on top. It's basically a block of cheese served with chips. Even with the hot plate, it didn't stay gooey for long, but it was a pretty good starter. The Coconut Campachano was creamy and refreshing. It also came with chips, though ours seemed like crumbs from the bottom of the barrel. We got the Trompo tacos and Sautéed Shrimp tacos. Both were tasty, and the tortillas seemed fresh. Decent food, great service, small portions, a bit expensive for what you get and that's before the 4% fee.

My wife is Latina, so we're pretty familiar with authentic Latin/Mexican flavors, and from the moment we walked in, we were a little unsure of what to expect. We completely understand we're in Willow Glen and that Copita is going for a more upscale take, but for us, authenticity and flavor still have to be at the heart of the experience. Our waitress was very friendly and polite, and this review is absolutely not a reflection of her service. However, when we asked about the style of the food, there seemed to be a little hesitation in explaining it, which made us even more uncertain about what we had gotten ourselves into. I don't like bashing restaurants or their food, so I'll simply say that, unfortunately, the highlight of our meal was the chips and salsa. The cocktails, on the other hand, were good and definitely not shy on the alcohol! Also, don't expect large portions. The restaurant is clearly aiming for a more upscale presentation and experience, so the plates reflect that. Overall, Copita just wasn't for us. This was our first visit and unfortunately will probably be our last. I genuinely wish them success, but I think a few changes, especially when it comes to the flavors and authenticity of the food could make a big difference.

[[ Location ]] It's kind of tucked away in a plaza and I even turned into the wrong entrance to get there. I chose the entrance after the Wells Fargo which is not the right one but luckily all the plaza's are interconnected so I could just drive over there. Make sure you turn in at the entrance with the Dunkin and you will be fine. Tons of parking so that will not be an issue including 1 hour parking right in front the restaraunt. [[ Food ]] Good goly the food is so good here. Not only does the food taste good but around $3.89 for a well portioned regular taco is a steal. Not to mention their green sauce, red sauce, and chipotle sauce were just the right flavor to add to your tacos. We got the following: 1.) Flautas Plate = The rice and beans that come with this is superb 2.) 2x Lengua Taco = My favorite taco that we ordered 3.) 2x Birria Taco 4.) Chorizo Taco 5.) Carnitas Taco [[ Conclusion ]] I'm definitely going to go back as now I have a go-to Taco place in Milpitas.

Enjoyed our chilaquiles (do try this if you stop by), and were wrapping up our meal with the empanada when we discovered a chunk of fuzzy blue grey mold in the MIDDLE of the empanada about 1" in length and 3/8" wide. The empanada was already cut in half and wasn't showing from the outside or the cut area, but the mold was in one half of the empanada and I broke the other half which was normal looking. Thankfully we spit it out, and didn't eat the bite that we took. The waitress had offered to replace it but we said no because we were so shocked. We were kind of disappointed that the manager didn't try to come and address the issue with us. Just left it to their serving staff who quickly cleared our table and gave us the check. Might go back for the other food items, but definitely NOT the empanadas.

We requested to be seated at the bar, as always. The mixologist, Beatrice, was knowledgeable about drinks and the menu. We fell in love pretty quickly with the vibe and how atmospheric the place was. Drinks were excellent. They have freshly made daily different Agua Frescas that you can add spirits to!!!!! I had the Hibiscus and added tequila. SO, so good. I had a few. (Smiling.). My husband tried multiple different cocktails settling on the milk punch. It too was excellent. We had the Elote, perfection. One of the best yet! We also had an appetizer where you make your own taco. Really good, beans and cheese, yummy. He had the Mole and I had the special of the day, Birria tacos. Both were excellent but the Mole was the star. We ended with espresso martinis and a wonderful layered dessert that you must have but I can't remember the name. The pastry on top was just so damned good, on top of layers of lovely things. It was a great time. We got to speak to the owner, Lorena, for a bit. She was busy with all the guests but took a moment to chat. The place has a history that you should ask about. She took it from the ashes of a fire and built this lovely little authentic Mexican restaurant. CONS: I felt it would sell better and feel even more cozy going all the way to white linen tablecloths, water goblets, and more romantic lighting. But that is only my opinion and I know nothing about owning a restaurant. PROS: The food, the drinks, the service, the vibe. It's a great place just a couple of blocks from downtown but a world away, a little trip to Mexico without your passport. GO!!!!!

All the seatings are outside and covered, like a decorated front porch of the house. I really liked that it was almost empty and the decorated big fat tree and everything looked really beautiful. We ordered a standard California wet burrito, you've to select the sauce - not spicy, mild, or spicy. The burrito was made with care- inside was a filling of fried rice actually - with some bell peppers, thinly sliced zucchini and cabbage. And very little beans (not a fan of that- I need my protein). And it wasn't too cheesy- so liked that as well. This fried rice filling tasted really good. But I did not like the sauce, but my partner did. So yea I'd suggest to select that sauce really carefully - makes or breaks the dish. I think I just don't like smoked sauces. I tasted the 911 sauce (they gave me some on request) and I liked it better - but it was actually spicy(I am an Indian). Indeed it will be best wet burrito I could ever get with the right sauce. Two things I wasn't a fan of - I'd expect at least a glass or two of water for all what we paid. At least ask me, and then a side of chips and salsa, I think that's a standard too. Don't make me feel like you're not doing me a favor for running a restaurant. I also had to order at the pay station and pay upfront, just mentioning. Otherwise the staff was nice to me and waited patiently while I was deciding my order and sauce haha. Would I return again? Maybe, it was a $21 burrito (including tips). Street parking - may need some planning depending on the time.

Unfortunately, this place has geared more attention towards upgrading the aesthetics of eating area and has forgotten the fundamentals in food safety. My whole family got food poisoning after eating here. A day after and we are still not well. Not to mention, the customer service has severely declined. It used to be very warm and inviting and that's no longer the case. This used to be a place that we would highly recommend but the quality and customer service has rapidly declined. This is no longer the family restaurant that used to prioritize quality and experience that I once loved.
