Getting a lobster roll was a must on our trip to Cape May - I had never had one before, and this was the place to break that streak! We found La La Lobster through Yelp and Google Reviews, and given its proximity and great reviews, we gave it a try. There are a few tables / chairs to sit in right by the storefront, but also ample seating around the bend of the small shopping strip. We stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and we were pleased to find no line. The menu actually has a lot of options, which I wasn't expecting for a lobster roll spot, but nice to have the variety. I was intrigued by their various lobster preparations, and I wasn't anticipating having options for "sauces". Not being a huge fan of mayo, I went for the mango prep of my roll, and it was so delicious! It really brought out the freshness of the lobster, and it was nice to have a sweet pairing that still seasonal and had a hint of spice to it with the peppers. The lobster itself was nicely cooked, and it was all enclosed in a heavily buttered (appropriately so) roll. I was definitely impressed with it, and it was a great first experience! My husband got the spicy take on the lobster roll, which he also enjoyed! Of course, prices are steep for lobster, but I felt it was a fair deal for the amount of meat on our roll, the unique sauces, and the accompanying chips. When dining-in is permitted they have a couple window bar seats looking outside. They also have seating outdoors with a walk-up window to order. Ordered a cup of Lobster Bisque.
