The sushi here is amazing as well as the staff and service. I had a really great time the other day being as it was my first time there and I totally recommend it. They have phenomenal customer service that makes the food more enjoyable. On top of that the presentation of the sushi was awesome. I really enjoyed the Arnold Palmer and it easily became my favorite Arnold Palmer of all time. I look forward to returning.

Impeccable service with delicious food. Everything came out beautifully prepared and although I have no pictures (because we ate it so fast) the deep fried "Golden Tiger Roll" is my favorite. Our server consistently removed dirty/empty plates and ensured our drinks were full. At the end when we ordered dessert she came by and drizzled the chocolate table side, so cute! 10/10 recommend.

Went in and split jalapeño bombs, the Baked Salmon Roll and a bottle of something. Everything was really good. We spent $60 total not including tip. The service was REALLY attentive. We were the only people in the restaurant at first so that's prob why. The ambiance was ok. Typical of most family style restaurants. Overall, I would do back.

After a long day and finally cleaning my kitchen tonight I refused to cook. It was 11 PM and I was starving so I grabbed my housemate and we arrived to this late night treat. Started with hot saki and spicy miso soup. Delicious and soul warming. Spicy salmon roll was fresh and fast. I don't do tuna so the Dark Knight Dragon Roll was the winner. We inhaled every piece of food and it's 12:13 am. Staff was so sweet. Wasabi was a bit sweet too. Thank you. -happy girl

I hate writing a low rating review but this joint just didn't hit the mark. The execution of creating "sushi" dishes failed and resembled more like "kimbap" with seafood. The rice was made incorrectly and they also used the wrong seaweed paper. Those two major components detracts from the enjoyment of true sushi dishes. The AYCE menu offers standard pricing tiers--regular at $49.95, premium at $59.95, and a kids' option priced at $19.95 for ages 3-7. Please note that the premium tier allows for a 1-time order of 12 items per person. This is not unlimited so if you don't care for those options, then stick with the regular tier. This place isn't cheap and that's okay if the price aligns with quality but it just didn't shine. In fact, this is just 1 grade above a sushi buffet. For those wanting a better sushi joint option, I recommend checking out "Here Fishy Fishy" off Wilshire blvd in Ktown next to the metro station for better quality AYCE sushi and same price point. Service was wonderful. The korean ladies were super nice but the food just doesn't sustain another visit.

Absolutely disappointed, the salad: sauce burned the throat, basically solely vinegar. $8 for a minuscule cucumber salad Sushi rice: extremely bland Sushi: thank goodness I didn't try the fish, very low quality sourcing. The Avacado used was past its time Miso: $4 for about 5 spoonfuls of soup that was basically salted water- advertised as including seaweed and tofu. Absolutely terrible. Don't go here.

LA LA Sushi... You make me wanna lala!!! "In the kitchen, on the floor," because the quality and care is beyond there. So much so that I even do takeout as well as delivery when I can't make it there. Studio City's Ventura Boulevard extravaganza of shops, stores, sips, savories, sweets and more is where you'll find the L.L. Sushi experience... Parking on the street or in back, just before Lemonade if heading east from Whitsett Avenue (aka Laurel Terrace Drive) on Ventura Blvd or just past it if traveling westbound from Laurel Canyon. The deep cozy welcoming energy and the veggie options for me are all a 10 out of 10 especially because I can enjoy plenty as can my non veggie friends. Those 5PM to 1AM hours (daily) are something to celebrate too, because late night can definitely hit the spot. Tofu steak, spicy edamame (plus garlic or og), organic green salad and sunomono are all great items to start among others. Cut or Hand rolls - avocado, cucumber and my absolute fav... Their garden (veggie) as it's usually how I roll... Get it? Definitely ask for the vegan friendly options though most that are usually by default are. Hoping they might label them with a v or vg on their menus in the future, not to mention add a vegan ramen, no rice roll and/or baked roll veg option to the list #APlantBasedFoodieCanWish lol. Very grateful for all they do have (a lot) and their kindness. It's a sushi bar with a local neighborhood feel that make the meals and deals feel authentic as well as real. Have yet to enjoy a sake or adult beverage here, but hoping to change that in the new year. Cheers to LLS for being one of the best!

The waitstaff is rude and doesn't understand what they're saying. They need to learn how to communicate with people properly.

One of the best sushi spots I've had a in a while actually. We didn't really do any appetizers and went straight in for the fish. Started off with a couple of hand rolls, we did the crab hand roll and O toro hand roll. Crab hand roll wasn't as impressive, I've had better to be honest. I didn't let that experience ruin it for me because the toro hand roll was delicious. I think they add a piece of mint and it complimented the hand roll. Very crunchy nori wrapper and good rice to fish ratio. For our sushi we started with chu toro tuna, salmon belly, and halibut. Super fresh melt in your mouth quality. Halibut was interesting with the truffle, first time definitely won't be the last. We ended it with red snapper and black snapper. Absolutely amazing, I think the black snapper or the red snapper was slightly charred. It was so good. To say the least, this restaurant was worth it!

Nice of the chef to switch out roe for halibut for me on my omakase. However, probably the worst omakase I've ever had. No creativity, nothing felt premium, chewy fish, flavors didn't mesh, and half of it was salty. The miso soup wasn't scorching, which i appreciated at first but that meant the last few sips were fairly room temp. The real crab handroll was good. If the price point was $35 sushi set I'd give 5/5 but this is supposed to be premium omakase. I've been to other Sushi Enya locations and had good experiences, so this was very disappointing. Stick to the rolls and nigiri.

Had no idea it was going to be this busy on a random Wednesday. But this place is truly a gem! People come here for the Sashimi Lunch ($26) which is an absolute steal considering the quality and amount of food you get! Note: to get the sashimi lunch, you must sit at a table (not the counter). It comes with miso soup, side of pickled veggies, tofu side dish and the pièce de résistance the sashimi platter. They run a tight ship here and understandably so; they want to take care of all their customers waiting. Needless to say, everything was fresh, delicious and most importantly filling. I tend to eat a lot and I left feeling full and satisfied! The Gen Z kids sitting next to me couldn't stop talking about "how low key everything was fire, like seriously, bro" haha I can't.. but I have no doubt I will be back. From the very first bite, you could tell the quality was on another level. Every piece of fish tasted unbelievably fresh--like it had just come off the boat a couple of hours earlier. It's rare to find sushi that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how clean, buttery, and flavorful it is. The salmon sashimi absolutely melted in my mouth and was one of the best I've had in a long time. The tuna was just as impressive, rich with incredible texture and freshness. Every roll and every piece of nigiri was prepared with so much care that it reminded me why I love sushi in the first place. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients, and it shows in every bite. The experience went beyond just the food. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and had the perfect sushi spot vibe. I wish I could remember our server's name because they were fantastic--giving great recommendations, making us feel genuinely welcomed, and showing us so much hospitality throughout the meal. Service like that makes an already amazing meal even more memorable. Sushi Gen absolutely lived up to the hype, and I already know I'll be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.
