I called to place an order and the sales associate was friendly and accommodating. The chocolates arrived carefully packed & surrounded by ice packs to ensure freshness and prevent damage from heat. They were also nicely wrapped for the holidays. Our clients loved them and were impressed with the quality. They thought they were shipped from France. The associate was kind enough to send some samples so I could try them as well. Each bite was pure bliss. If you want to give someone chocolates that are a step above the rest, send them a box from La Maison and don't forget to treat yourself. And while you can touch the closed boxes behind the display, the exterior doesn't list the flavors either. While the cashier tried to help she could only do so much. So, that said, if you want to know the flavors in the box.. pull out your phone and search the website. While the chocolates are pricey they're delicious so splurging once in a blue moon is worth it to me. They offer a rewards program which allows you to earn points for free items. I came here with a visitor from out of town and she loved it, too. They have so many delicious-looking drinks and desserts on their menu, so it was hard to choose. I decided on the Belle Classic, where you can choose any large drink and 2 madeleines or macarons for $15+. I ordered the earl grey tea and the macarons of the day were chocolate and caramel. I wasn't aware that you couldn't choose the macarons, but both were delicious so I was fine with the selection. Our server was outstanding as well. They gave us samples of the hot chocolate and iced chocolate to try. Surprisingly, we both liked the iced chocolate more, even though I generally prefer hot drinks. Priced at the princely sum of $20 the amount was fairly small but I bought it and am eating it by rationing it for the weekends only. Each bite is ambrosial. Confections by Christopher Elbow among others are here but I resisted. My pleasure lies in being in this large loft decorated with foliage, comfortable seating to view all the bars lined alphabetically and dream about what to buy in the future.
