I called their parts department requesting price and availability for a fan filter for a kitchen vent fan and a plastic housing to hold the filter for an Itasca SunFlyer Winnebago. Spoke to A female, acted like she did not know what I was asking for, this is an older coach, once she acted like she knew what I wanted she immediately said they don't stock parts for older models. I requested her to call the Winnebago Mfg. She seemed put out, ask me several times during the call what was the make model and year. Even sent her photos of the requested items. I would not have Given Any Stars but you know the program if you want to leave a comment. I've been a manager in the automotive-truck parts aftermarket company for over 40 years with one of the largest parts availability and inventory in the US. I will order any parts needed for my coach from now on from an out of state dealer, sad I could not spend my money locally. Not a great experience..... read more

Honestly, I wish I could give zero stars. We have a new 2017 Heartland Sundance 3700RLB, it has spent more time in the shop than we have been able to use it. Right now it's been there 40 day's. Too many issues and not enough time in the day to discuss all our issues. They clearly don't believe in good customer service and their communication just SUCKS!!! They are quick to pass the buck saying it's a manufacture issue, but yet they are the one's hired do the repairs. La Mesa RV Albuquerque, Purchased a 70k fifth wheel from the Albuquerque NM dealership. We had them install a Splendide Washer/Dryer for the unit during the purchase. After using it for over a year, we had some mechanical issues with the dryer door latch breaking. We called Splendide, and they sent out parts right away. We had La Mesa Mobile come out and install the door latch. Every time Travis the tech would leave, another issue revolved around the washer and dryer. Travis told the service manager Michelle that the Washer/Dryer was not installed correctly, to begin with, La Mesa installed it! After several ridiculous conversations with Michelle, David S and Jay determined they would not properly fix the washer and dryer tie-down clips they installed. Jay told me to have another RV repair shop fix it and send the bill, and he would decide if it was to be paid by La Mesa. Jay also told me if they installed it, they would make it right. Another lie. These people are liars! DO NOT BUY AN RV FROM THESE YAHOO'S. THE WILL NOT MAKE IT RIGHT BY THE CUSTOMER. read more

My husband and I wanted to look at used RV's. The sales guy (Mike) offered to show us the used inventory - until he found out we only wanted to spend around $10k. Then at that point he suggested we look on Craigslist because "we have nothing you can finance at that price". We NEVER said we wanted to finance. We had cash money to spend and would have spent more of we had been treated as a customer versus the worthless customers he assumed we were. We will never shop at La Mesa again nor will we EVER recommend them to anyone. We don't appreciate being treated like dirt because your sales person made assumptions based on our looks and supposed budget. read more

They were the worst RV repair shop we used in our 7 years of RV ownership and we've been to many over the years. As you let them know what your issues are their immediate response in go somewhere else. It took them 6 months to resolve repair issues on a 2019 RV. The biggest problem is the we don't care attitude that comes from their management and trickles down to the "service managers". Another problem is absolutely no quality control. Their method is you drive it off and then let them know if there are any problems with the poor workmanship. Everything they "repaired" needed to be returned at least once to get it fixed. We make an appointment and are told to bring in the RV 2 weeks later, we bring it in to set another 2.5 weeks and many phone calls later before it gets worked on. I could go on and on. Stay away is the best bet. As they say "Go somewhere else." I'll take their advice! read more

Our RV was hit by lightning six months ago unfortunately we were not smart enough to take it to La Mesa RV at first we wasted three months before La Mesa of Albuquerque started to repair the vehicle it's a 2011 Winnabago Journey. It was basically beyond repair until La Mesa started to work with it and now it is better that even before we bought it. The service technicians here are fantastic. We were working with kyle as our advisor and he has been nothing short of magnificent. The finance people have been great and all warranties that we have bought from them have worked out very nicely. All personnel are friendly and kind and go out of their way to get you back on the road and explain details about your particular vehicle. These folks are amazing at great customer service!! We had no appointment but showed up on a Monday morning because we had either a propane leak or a faulty alarm. You can not take a chance with leaking propane in a motorhome. They took us right in and replaced the faulty alarm and did a complete safety check of the propane system. All in about 2 hours. We were treated royally in the waiting area....coffee, fruit, popcorn and very engaging sales folks. Oh....did I mention that this was in the middle of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, the absolutely busiest two weeks of their year? GREAT service. read more

We found ourselves in Albuquerque on 9/19/2017 with a slide on our RV which would not extend. Late in the afternoon, I contacted LMRV, only a mile or so from our campground and spoke with Davey Deller, the shop foreman. Although their schedule was very booked, he told me to bring in the coach first thing in the morning. When we arrived, dogs et al., we were greeted by Rico Nunez who quicky made us comfortable and had the coach looked at. The problem was failure of one of the two slide motors. The motor was replaced. We were kept informed, and by noon we were able to resume our trip to the East Coast. The service was great, and we are very appreciative. read more

I arrived unscheduled at 8 am on a Monday morning with a broken connection to my hot water heater in my RV. Water everywhere, and a very angry & frustrated wife!! Despite having lots of other scheduled appointments, these guys got us in that same morning, repaired it by noon, and charged a mere $156!! I was particularly amazed by the low fee, since we arrived with no appointment and I peaked into their service area and saw them removing the water heater entirely, fixing the connection, then replacing and resealing the water heater's exterior mechanism so it's enclosure was water-tight. Good people, honest repair & fair prices. You can trust them! read more

Be careful of their "our prices can't be beat" talk. My wife and I went to La Mesa - Albuquerque just over two weeks ago fairly certain of the make and model toy hauler we wanted. The salesman seemed nice and, as we were walking to look at the unit, he told us that La Mesa prices were clearly marked on each unit and that we were encouraged to shop around for a better deal because La Mesa was confident their prices would not be beat. After looking at the unit, we decided we were going to make the purchase but I wanted to shop around prior to committing to buy from La Mesa to verify their price was the best, as we were told it would be. One quick internet search later I found the same unit for over $5,000 less at three other dealers, the closest of the three being in Texas. Sure, I would have to drive to Texas but I would do that for $5,000 in savings minus cost of gas and my time. I let the salesman know this information and he said two things: 1) be careful, you can't trust most of those "internet dealers" and 2) can you send me information documenting those deals so I can take it to my owner and see what we missed, those prices are UNBELIEVABLE. I then sent him the complete quote with dealer name, address, VIN/fees/etc., to the penny, from the other dealer on a Saturday and he told me he would call me Monday after talking with the owner. He didn't call Monday or Tuesday so I texted him the following Wednesday morning asking if he had any information for me since I was ready to make a deal at one place or the other...no text reply. I called him late that same afternoon and left a message on his cell...no reply to date. Maybe the salesman quit or is on vacation, but it has been almost two weeks since I sent information to them and nobody at La Mesa had the courtesy to reply. I don't care that they apparently couldn't beat the other deals but just ceasing all communication is unprofessional and completely unacceptable to me. I brought it back with more problems than I took it in for. Nothing was fixed and my insurance paid $15k for damages to roof and awning. We ordered an 2018 Winnebago Revel on December 15th last year. We paid the asking price, and made a deposit of $5000 which we were told was subject to forfeit if we backed out of the contract. In April they contacted us to inform us that we had been "Upgraded" to a 2019 model Revel because the 2018 model was no longer available, at an increase of $3400 from the contracted and agreed upon price. When the unit actual arrived on June 11 after 6 long months, we went for "Orientation", only to find that the unit no longer included navigation or Sirius satellite radio, as was in the 2018. So rather than being "Upgraded" the 2019 actually had less equipment, but we could either pay the increased amount or walk away. The general manager "Tom" actually tried to intimidate us into backing out of the transaction because he "Could sell it to someone else for more!" So a signed contract doesn't mean anything to La Mesa, when the unit that you contracted to buy is worth more as a consequence of becoming more popular with the passage of your time waiting. Take it or leave it. And the atmosphere changes completely as well. The "All one happy family" evaporated completely, along with the 20% discount on accessories the day of delivery. And they neglected to actually complete all the paperwork as well. It turned what should have been a happy occasion into a nasty and regrettable one. I will definitely take my business elsewhere in the future, even if great distances are involved. read more

Do not go here if you have a trade in. They will force you to run a credit check before giving you a price on your trade in. This tactic is used by dealers to trap you. For all you know they can be adjusting the price on your unit depending on your credit score. This is one of the only places in town that does this but they will tell you otherwise. Don't fall for this scam. If they give you a low call offer on your trade (which they will) and you decide not to go through them then you just took a hit on your credit. If you want to finance through a personal bank or credit union then you will have to do two credit checks. Don't fall for this scam please! Only time you should do a credit check is when all the numbers are checked out and you have a clear understanding on what you're getting and what your trading in. Credit unions can smoke the interest rates these stealerships give. Oh and they will try to do everything they can to finance through them. They make their money through financing not sales. Please stay away from this business and their practices. read more

Over all the sales people namely hot dog were amazing finance department was okay at best and delivery of the trailer was phenomenal however I forgot some information they needed and they would not allow me to take my trailer the day after financing was all approved we waited 2 weeks to pick it up. We spent 2 hours at the dealership to take delivery and they would not allow me to come back the following morning to drop off the information/optional down payment we opted to do to bring our interest down. This was what we wanted not a requirement. I gave multiple ideas and to return that night with all NOs. Instead they made me unhook the trailer leave it there and take all possessions that they had previously given me. Not to mention all the mistakes they made during financing with yes you need this documentation oh no you don't need it then 4 days later yes you do need it if we don't have it you're not getting your trailer etc etc .One of the worst dealerships I've ever had to deal with and the main boss lady M. Davis is the biggest "insert nast work here" I've ever dealt with. zero compassion to the client / customers. If you want to buy a camper trailer and RV go somewhere else or avoid her. The rest were pleasant. Still waiting in repairs to be completed which wil require me to take it out of storage and drive it back to the dealer to be fixed. 2018 and so far we pointed out 8 or 9 things that needed to be fixed or re done while we are getting our walk through and it's a 2018 model read more

I bought my 2016 Winnebago Journey 36M from La Mesa RV and picked it up March 17, 2020. I had been searching for this unit for several months and had driven one at a local dealer. The one I drove locally had some cosmetic issues and the unit wasn't in tiptop shape. I noticed one that was advertised online from La Mesa RV in Florida. When I called about that unit it had already been sold, but the person I talked to said they would let me know if another one became available at one of their dealerships. In less than a week I got a call from Gerald Sanchez from the Albuquerque Le Mesa dealership who said they had one at their lot in San Diego. He assured me it was in pristine condition and I bought it sight-unseen (except for photos). My wife and I was picked up at the airport by La Mesa and when we arrived at the dealership was promptly greeted by Gerald and Marty Hansen our orientation tech. The coach condition was exactly as I had been told by Gerald. Marty very patiently walked us through every aspect and feature on the coach. By the close of business we were on our way in our new-to-us RV. I can't think of one thing about the whole experience that I would change. These guys are exceptional. And I'm saying that as a customer who has shopped around for quite some time and dealt with several dealerships. I highly recommend La Mesa RV and would not hesitate to do business with them again. Purchased a 2019 Winnebago 30RLSS from La Mesa RV in Albuquerque,NM. Called to tell me the camper was ready to pick up that Saturday morning (July 2018). My wife and I drove down from Santa Fe and was very excited! Rain was coming down and the service crew had pulled the trailer inside their shop. NOTHING had been cleaned nor detailed in any way what so ever! The employee for the walkthrough kept apologizing over and over!!!!! The top had caked on dust from the high winds and dusty lot next door. The salesman promised the camper would be cleaned properly with a pressure washer before pickup! WRONG AGAIN!!! The inside was dirty and NOTHING had been wiped down on counter tops, shower, toilet, dresser, mirrors, etc! La Mesa RV could have cared less!! We found scratches that were not even there when we initially looked at this unit for serious consideration to purchase! They had me sign a checklist that they had checked over everything prior to delivery to owner. Had several leaks under both sinks, no water in shower!, Furnace not heating. Hot Water Heater leaking (inside unit). Muddy footprint on ceiling and wall. La Mesa RV told me personally to contact the maker WINNEBAGO Industries in Indiana, which I did and they have been MORE than fair to resolve all of the needless issues from the lack of quality from La Mesa RV in Albuquerque. So last I would say watch em closely if you are considering a purchase from La Mesa RV. Be present when they perform their checklist and be sure they detail it properly and hopefully you get burned like myself!!! My wife and I almost believe this is not the same unit we wanted to buy!?? We missed the en-route comfort and convenience a motor-home provides. We made the trip north and contacted the professional sales team at La mesa after looking at Camping World and Holiday RV in the El Paso area with no luck and awful over-priced selection. You can not beat the brands offered, selection, newly-paved display lot, extremely courteous and patient staff, service dept., and of course price at La mesa. A big shout out to Bert, Ty, Paul, and all the rest of the professional staff and management for once again making our buying experience a joy! Run in the other direction as fast as you can. I called to make an appointment for a TSB we received from the manufacturer of our motorhome. Service adviser talked down to me like I was illiterate. She said they looked it up and it didn't apply to my model. I pointed out the bulletin said it applied specifically to my unit. I called the manufacturer who re-affirmed the TSB applied to my unit. This is a safety issue and could have had serious consequences. Thankfully it did not. Beware. read more

Save yourself a lot of grief and don't deal with these people. We should have read the reviews first. If you can handle pressure sales tactics and are able physically to climb up on top to inspect the roof; run the water to see if the pipes are actually connected; turn on the furnace to see if it works as well as the AC. We were told they were bringing the model we wanted from Albuquerque and were charged $500.00 for the "service." It was the wrong model and would have cost us another $500.00 to return it. We traded our Class A for the wrong model that arrived with damages that were supposed to be repaired but they never did. Then there were concealed damages to the roof and 51 manufacturer's defects that were overlooked by the service department when they provided an "orientation". We lost a lot of money and felt like we were elderly people who were taken advantage of. Fortunately New Mexico has a wonderful Attorney General's Office that helped. While the state doesn't have lemon laws they do follow the federal law and were at least able to help us get some of the defects repaired. We had to trade the thing in on another brand because it was not useable (2019 Class B) and found an excellent honest dealer in Las Vegas. read more

Top Notch Service!!! My husband was traveling to OKC from Northern Ca when he got to New Mexico he realized his running lights on his 35ft 6 horse trailer were no longer working. After calling numerous shops and getting no where, he decided to pull in to La Mesa RV and ask their service desk if they could do him a BIG favor. Not only did the awesome service desk lady go back to the service area to see if they would be able to help, but Gill, Anthony, and Leo basically stopped what they were doing and put there three talented heads together to quickly diagnose and get me back on the road. Because of the knowledge and good nature of the employees here, my husband hardly lost anytime. Purchased an RV, our salesman Basil McKenna treated us like royalty. We highly recommend him to help you with your purchase. As far as service we give them a thumbs down. The girls at the service desk were not friendly at all they treated us like we were bothering them. When we picked up our RV from service some of our cabinets were open and stuff was thrown all over our bed. The fork lift driver must have rough housed our RV moving it around. We were traveling back to Florida in a motorhome we had purchased six months earlier. We were extremely disappointed with it. We stopped in La Mesa to 'just look'. We found several RVs exactly like what we wanted. Their inventory was unbelievable. After thinking about it overnight, We returned the next morning and made the final decision on which unit we wanted to buy. The sales person, Lonnie, the finance department, the service department and all of the employees worked with us, completed the sale, got the new RV ready for the road in record time. Plus, they fed us lunch! They all then helped transfer all of our personal items from one unit to the other. We were back on the road in the new RV in less than one day. Worst service ever. Horrible. They "fixed" my slide out for $800.00 but when we got to our first vacation destination in OK City...didn't work. ("Hanging" might be a good description). Could have ruined the entire vacation but fortunately, there was a real mechanic who could adjust it at the campground..(instead of those at La Mesa who clearly have no training and are not "real mechanics"). Took the unit back to La Mesa on return of our trip to make sure everything was per the MFG specifications. Again, they "fixed" it. Fix, apparently means the slide out slopes to where people eating on one side share their food with others adjacent to them. The service people at La Mesa RV are horrible. And I asked for a phone call from the Service Dept. Manger to discuss this issue. And was promised a call. Bet you can guess the response. ZERO. Run away from La Mesa RV. They have NO service and they could care less about your "FAMILY" (their promotional logo). read more
