La Michoacana is a go-to spot to beat the heat with traditional Mexican treats! Parking is easy and there are tables inside to eat your treats before they start to melt. With good AC, restrooms, and a family atmosphere, you will feel comfortable hanging out there any time of the day. The owners, Miguel and Nancy, put their heart and soul into their business. They greet everyone with a hello and warm smile when you walk through the door. Their paletas, ice creams, mangoneadas, Dubai chocolate strawberries, elotes are great quality and reasonably priced. They take customizations if you want to mix up your mangoneadas (tamarind ice cream cravings are a thing). I am excited to see this biz come up with new desserts now that we are closer to summer!

The deserts here were amazing, and so was the service. Danae was very helpful in fining what I should get because I had never been there. The place was very clean and well kept and the overall mood was very cheerful. I would completely recommend this place to anyone wanting to try out a new desert spot!

I am so glad we have a new gem in our neighborhood! This location is clean and very organized. The desserts are deliciously handcrafted and you can taste the fruits of their labor. The fresas con crema is the best I've ever had so far. Everywhere I've tried it, it's either too sweet or too watery. This place has it very well balanced and sweet to perfection. The strawberries are very fresh. We ordered a chocolate covered vanilla ice cream bar and it was so delicious! You could taste the homemade recipe. The two ladies who helped me were beyond nice and friendly! They were focused on making sure I ordered everything the way I would like to enjoy it. I loved everything about this experience and I cannot wait to return to try other items on their menu!

The paletas we're great! I got the pistachio paleta and it's one of the best pistachio ice creams I've tasted. The young women helping me, Maria, was super welcoming and let me sample a multitude of different ice cream flavors. The interior of the resturant is super clean but there aren't many chairs.

Came here for mother's day and will be returning soon!! They have things I simply can't find at other michoacanas like Dubai chocolate, Starbucks ice cream, and more. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the incredibly hardworking girls at the counter who answered all of my questions and even gave me solid recommendations for things to try in the shop. I ended up going with the Dubai chocolate ice cream and it did not disappoint! The owner came out and made it himself and was extremely personable and even showing off the creation to the girls behind the counter. It was probably the best dessert I've ever had in my life!! The pricing was incredible as well given the portions. This is definitely a place that you stumble upon and fall in love with and even though they've only been open for 5 months, I hope to see them flourish in our community! My only critique is I need them to get a tip jar bc the service was next level!! read more

Love love this place!! From the aquas to the ice cream, and all their special treats so very yummy!!! The fruit is fresh! The ice cream is creamy, the experience has consistently been on point. Each time I go, I'm wowed by how tasty the mangonadas or the Tostilocos are!! It super clean and inviting. The owners are vert personable and remember you. The two girls in here need to work on their customer service. We walked in and no smile no greeting at all just what can we get for you with attitude and mad faces. I think they were mad because they close at 9:30 and we got here at 9:15. I get it Caz I worked in fast food before but you still gotta do your job at the end of the day and have some customer service. You could tell they wanted us out of there. Not only was the facility clean and organized but the service was AMAZING. Miguel (the owner) went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed both the food and the time at La Michoacana. Upon entering I was never greeted worker seemed annoyed to b bothered she made eye contact with me while she was in the back but she could of greeted me and told me she would be right with me instead of ignoring me, I didn't feel welcomed at all. I didn't leave because I was craving some fresas con crema. She finally came out but she was on the phone, then she hung up and attended me. Now this is all bad lol I get it I've worked in a restaurant before and you are prepping making calls to order stuff and such but why not tell me welcome I will b right with you I would of been understanding Instead of ignoring me making me feel like I am a bother. Like we are the reason y'all in business, consumers such as us. Anyways I did like how clean this place is very bright and colorful. Decent amount of seats to enjoy your treats. I did enjoy the fresas con crema and I will be returning so hopefully the peeps that are working nxt time are a bit more friendly. I was walking and wanted a place for ice cream and I found this location. Next thing I knew I was walking out with an ellote, chips nachos, and a mangonada. All their ice creams called out to me but I had to stop. I'll be back for that ice cream I never got. This location is very clean and all the fruit is fresh. Will definitely be back. Their prices weren't listed for the baked goods so I did not know it was that expensive and just paid it. I was hoping it was gonna be amazing but it was not. Coffee Bean has the best jalapeño cheese, bagel $3 and Vons has an equally good one for $1.25. Don't get me wrong...I love coffee and I love trying new places and supporting small businesses, but I will not go out of my way for this again.

It's especially fun to visit around the holidays because of the Christmas decor. Free 3-hour parking close by. Beautiful view of the snowy mountains from the outside street corner. We had a noon reservation for two and were seated at the corner booth right away. The menus are prettily presented inside book covers. We chose the High Tea which includes tea sandwiches, a scone, a soup and salad, a dessert and one kettle of tea. I chose the peppermint chocolate tea and my friend chose the chocolate covered strawberry tea, both seasonal. For dessert I chose the lemon cake and my friend chose the tiramisu. Everything was delicious. The teas were flavorful enough not to add any sugar! My favorites of the food were the tomato bisque soup and the scone. In the back of the tearoom, there's a large crescent moon where you can sit for a photo opportunity, and dress up with a crown, hat, or sash, just to add to the fun memories.

But I have come probably on at least 5 different occasions, in which this was the case. They have no business serving the public if they can't keep the public's trust on their most basic promise: hours of operation.

I ordered from La Michoacana through DoorDash and I'm honestly so impressed. They really thought of everything. My nacho cheese and jalapeños were packed on the side, and my chips were separated so they wouldn't get soggy which is usually my number one complaint with delivery. The attention to detail made such a difference. They also followed my special instructions perfectly. I have a chocolate allergy but still wanted to try the Dubai chocolate, so I requested specific modifications and they made it exactly how I asked. That level of care is rare. Everything was packaged with so much love. I actually called the owner just to say thank you because the experience was that good. He told me they package every order as if it's for a family member and it truly shows. The food was delicious, the Dubai chocolate treats were so yummy, and shout out to Julia for making my order. But at this particular location, the chocolate cups were absolutely amazing! The flavor was rich and decadent, truly a treat for the senses. They were fresh, perfectly crafted, and tasted exactly as they were meant to. Not only was the product outstanding, but the customer service was also exceptional. Danae at La Michoacana provided amazing service from start to finish. She was extremely attentive, hardworking, and handled everything so well even while working by herself during a packed rush. Despite how busy it was, she still kept a great attitude, stayed on top of orders, and made sure everyone was taken care of. Such a great place to stop by for a treat! Facilities are clean and bright, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I could taste the fresh quality of the ingredients in all the items I tried, and the team is happy to help with any questions you might have. Lots of free parking is available as well.
