We have a few locations of la michoacana plus here. I've tried a few but this one seems like it's always stocked and clean. The decor is so fun inside! I love the bright colors. I always get a popsicle, they have the best flavors. Everything seems like it made in small batches. Service was okay... nothing to rave about. read more

Stopped by this location tonight after not coming here for months and it was a disappointment. The young lady there seemed nice but was rushing even tho there wasn't anyone else except my family. My mother in law asked if they did Dubai strawberries and she said yes that they were $16 + tax. We got our snacks and when we got the Dubai strawberries the chocolate was hard like the chocolate you use for chocolate covered strawberries and my mother in law made sure to let them know that wasn't the way it's supposed to be made. (She is obsessed with Dubai strawberries and normally gets them at the mall) and the worker just brushed it off and said that she made them they way they are supposed to and no other solution. We finished our snacks and the Dubai strawberries were left behind untouched. read more

I had been here once before and returned on Easter. I was completely ignored as people who cut in front of me were helped. I was ignored a second time when another worker, helped the person behind me. I left. I won't return. The location is clean and beautiful, the items are good however, the service is bad, making customers feel invisible. read more

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. The lady who helped me clearly didn't want to work. She kept saying they "had nothing available," but it felt more like she just didn't want to prepare any more snacks. There was no effort and the way she responded was so rude that made me just want to leave that place and never come back again. read more

I went here with my sister and a couple got there after us, instead of getting to us first while we were ready, the lady just completely ignored us and got to the couple first and made us wait for them to make up their minds on what they wanted. I let her know she can take our order first since we got there first and we were ready but she made a cace and told me to wait that she would get to me after. read more

This La Michoacana Plus is a Colorful Ice Cream shop that 's located in the Tropicana Plaza on King and Story. We were happened to be in this Area on a Beautiful Warm day and Cold yummy Ice Creams sounded great so we stopped by here for the First time. Definitely A Vibrant and Cool Settings they got going on in here! Lively, Pleasant, and Laid Back Atmospheres. A Great place for Any Groups Gathering. Good for Families and Kids. My Sister and I were Truly Happy like Two kids at A Candy Store!!! They offered all kinds of Different Flavors! I got the Kiwis, Mangoes and Passion Fruits. The Pistachios were actually one of our Favorites. Theirs Populars included: Mangonadas, Michedaladas, Watermelon , Fresh Fruits Cups, Ice Pops, Fresca Con Cremas, plenty of Cones, Shakes, and Plenty more Authentic Flavors!!!! Went early on Saturday. Not busy yet, and it was my first time. I was not quite sure how or what to order. I ended up getting a Mangonazo with watermelon sorbet. It was delicious! My mouth is watering right now as I write . Has chunks of mango, chamoy & tajin. Medium was huge and cost around $8. Also got some paletas for like $2.50 each. I only realized after seeing the seeds and the help from the bf - Watermelon: had real watermelon chunks and different colors were different flavors. So red tasted like watermelon, white was yogurty, and green was lime. Good one, I would get this one - Guava: pretty good - Elote bowl: not that good. We've recently just discovered this ice cream shop down the street after living in the area for the last 10 years. The mangonada is arguably one of the best I've had in the area. The consistency of the ice creams are always on point! I usually get the fresa, limon, and mangonada flavors in a medium cup. They top it with diced mangoes and little candy bits. Lily was the one that helped us and she was super friendly. She introduced us to chongos and queso flavored ice cream. The ice cream shop is very colorful and decorative inside. Late review, but my yompz partner and I visited this place when it had just opened for a while. Interior - my initial reaction was WHAT THE!!! i was BLOWWWWN away. it's just so colorful, everything pops out at you & it could probably be overstimulating for some, but my inner child was loooving it. the chairs, tables, the wallpaper & comic theme was very intricate and cute. makes for a cute little desert date! Food/snacks - so many options & pretty affordable. me and my yompz partner just shared a mangonada but it was realllllly good & we absolutely demolished it in like 5 minutes LOL. the menu has a lot of variety & it was hard to compromise on one thing cuz we lwk broke ;(( Location - Easy to spot in this plaza! There's a whole parking lot for the plaza so it's easy to find a parking space and walk a bit to the store. Service - We actually met a woman who happened to be the manager & asked her a few questions about the store because it was new. She was super nice and outgoing & very friendly! This is my first time coming to this place. When I entered the building, I smelled an odd smell. I didn't like it, it felt stuffy and weird. I also went to the bathroom before I ordered. I walked into the bathroom and saw no toilet paper! I had to go so bad. There were only towels, I hand no choice but to use it for the seat covers. But I did not use the towels to clean myself, I used napkins I already had in my purse. After cleaning myself up, I tried to use the soap dispenser. There were NO SOAP, either that or it was broken. I'm shocked at this point. So I cleaned my hands with only water, then pulled out my own hand sanitizer. That was the worst experience I encountered in this place. After using the bathroom, I finally got to order. I ordered a Hershey shake. It was delicious and very appetizing. The place looked very colorful and had a unique aesthetic to it. The place looks professional but not the bathrooms. Yikes! I would come to this place again for the treats but not for the bathroom. read more

Why not just close at 9 if that is the time they lock the doors anyway AND they have the audacity to get mad if you ask why it's closed if their hours clearly stays open until 10. Very surprised that they have this location near me and happy to have found it since the other one is located in Tropicana but it isn't a plus and the other is by willow glen but I drove passed that place and the Line was long! I came here around night time on a Friday and the line wasn't long but it did take almost an hour to get in. I think what takes long is having them make the cool looking drinks that come in a cool cup. They have many paletas, snacks and ice cream flavors to choose from. It is also aesthetically pleasing inside with all the cool designs they have. I ordered some paletas some nachos and aguas. They also have combos you can get as well to make it cheaper if you order a lot. I would come again maybe when the hype dies down so I don't have to wait in a long line. read more

Ordered two things on the menu, esquite and raspado. The raspado was good, but the esquite was filled with water from where they keep the corn. Definitely don't think they tried to drain the corn before preparing it. So whatever little toppings they did add, they just mixed in the water. read more

Horrible experience. I ordered through Uber eats from this place. I ordered a 1. pico de gallo 1. Bionico 1. Agua fresca There was a terrible most disgusting taste from the fruit...the "jicama" it was beyond rotten. I did not know that the jicama root fruit would get sticky...with tiny milk looking beads. The taste ...oh my GOD!!!! The watermelon was old and the cucumber was Wilted, but the worst was the jicama-ROTTEN. I tried calling the place several times to warn them not to sell the fruit to any other customers, but the phone just rang. I am beyond upset. They obviously know the freshness of their fruit is not safe and they rather sell and get people the risk of food poisoning it than to throw it out and take a loss on that. read more

We came here during their grand opening! We got the elote/corn, ferrero rocher ice cream, sandia/watermelon and gomitas/gummy popsicles and a michelaguas/mango juice! Everything was delicious, we already want to go back! We want to try their birthday cake shake, the bubble gum shaved ice and the chocolate bananas! We were looking at their instagram account to see what else they had since there was a lot of people so we couldn't see all the flavors. We really enjoyed the elote, michelaguas and gummy popsicle! The michelaguas cup is so cute, the mini jar! The prices I thought were also good! It was super busy and crowded, but the lady that assisted us was helpful and attentive in answering my questions since there are so many choices! There was a lot of staff to help also. It was a bit of a line to pay and the popsicles/ice cream melted a little. The dj/music outside was too loud for the kids, and they wanted to leave. The place is really cute! I love the bright colors, and there's some photo ops in the store that we will try next time when it's not so busy. *I recommend the 3xsingle scoop combo for $6. It is closer to the Rite Aid side of the shopping center and has lot parking. Just in time for the heat and summer! read more

I discovered La Michoacana during my travels in Mexico. I knew they were a chain, but didn't realize they had some locations outside of Mexico! Seriously, if you haven't tried 'em before, get your hands on one of these amazing paletas. I especially recommend the mango con chile. read more

This place is exactly what you want when you think of Mexican dulces and trendy Street food! My son wanted one of everything. I bought a 12 pack of paletas to go, they had so many flavors that you would never think of. We tried hot cheetos corn, tosti-locos, fresh lemonada and Gansito milk shake. Everything was amazing! Sweet, salty and a little spicy. The whole place is themed with different walls where you take pictures for your social media. We will definitely be back to try all of the treats. read more
