Andrea was absolutely 5 stars, from the beginning to the end. There are a lot of different personalities that can go into moving a senior relative - which was definitely our case. Each step of the way, Andrea brought her skill, patience, and heart. She remained flexible, as the move was pushed out by months, always being kind and reassuring. She took feedback and worked well with all of us. The biggest challenge was going to be the tremendous amount of downsizing that had to be done, which was too difficult and caused too much friction by the first organizer we tried. For Andrea, she spent as much time as needed, often sitting side by side with our senior, as well as a number of walk throughs of the old apartment and the new apartment, zoom sessions, phone calls and eventually decluttering sessions before the move. Bottom line: Andrea did what was needed to get the job done right - with a great attitude. (For example, on two different occasions with very little notice, Andrea saw that working a weekend day with our senior was going to make a significant difference in keeping her feeling positive about a big transition in her life - so Andrea just it. I knew on one of those days she gave up plans - which she never made raised.) Her can-do attitude included coordinating other third parties not within her contract (such as deliveries for donations and the closet builders). Everyone knew they could reach Andrea, and she would help and problem-solve. And Andrea's work product was excellent - from the plan layouts to the final product. Not only did she get more into the space than we could have anticipated, but everything was logically organized, easily accessible and looked great. Andrea was also very conscientious about cost. I don't think anyone could have done a better job, and I don't think anyone could have done this job for less. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again or recommend her and her team. read more

Andrea and her team at LA Move Consultants was the best solution to my moving and organizing needs. I recently moved and needed help unpacking and organizing all the boxes from my move. I was feeling very overwhelmed, and contacted Andrea to help. While I was away on travel, she and her team worked in my home to unpack all boxes, books, organize bedroom, living room, kitchen, and storage closets. The entire job was completed in two days -- and I didn't even have to be present for it all to be done! When I returned from my trip, my entire home was unpacked and organzined -- including kitchen drawers lined and neatly sorted, bedroom closet neatly put away, and all cardboard boxes and packing material moved to the garbage dumpster. She even coordinated with local staff to repair a shelf inside my closet that was broken and unable to hold weight. This was a herculean effort that she completed in 2 days. Moving sucks. It's got to be one of the most annoying and dreadful things we all have to go through from time to time. But with LA Move Consultants' help, the process was amazingly easy and stress-free! Andrea is absolutely fantastic and has a photographic memory. She moved us from a large home in Brentwood into a temporary condo while we look for a new home. Andrea labeled every item in our home for delivery to the condo, staying for the new buyers or storage (over 125 boxes). She packed and unpacked everything.
