So disappointed. We moved in June. So many things were broken and they started the process of addressing it and then stopped communicating. Our TVs were broken by these movers. Our main 64" for our livingroom has permanent turquoise digital lines across the top of the screen. The other one just doesn't even work. They told us they would refund $300 (not enough to even buy a replacement tv) but they never even refunded or responded to my husband's inquiries. Such poor customer service. Beware! You don't want broken things when you already have dealt with the stress of moving. Extremely disappointing experience. I feel terrible writing a bad review and I never do this but this was extremely unacceptable and they need to be help accountable. Day 1: Crew arrived late, only sent 2 movers for a 4-bedroom move, and came without proper tools. My father had to come at 11 PM to help because the movers were stuck behind my washer/dryer, and they even used my personal drill and tools. The move was left incomplete, because the guys got tired, literally shaking in the arms and couldn't lift anything else. I was charged $800 at 1am for an incomplete disaster. They tried charging me an over night storage which was a longggg argument over the phone was not going to happen because they messed up so they "credited me the over night fee" which was something like $150. Day 2: I was told they would call me at 9 am no one did. I called twice. then I finally got a call back saying theyre going to come at 1pm but I was told that the company wanted to raise my rate from $144/hour to $165/hour. and that I cant pay with a credit card the next day which was so SKETCHY because it wasnt a problem the night before. Basically, theyre changing the rate the next day, payment method agreement while they have my entire hours, dog food, meds etc in their trucks. After I argued for an hourrrrr, they agreed to honor the original $144/hour and told me 2 movers would be sent. I also kept requesting for a manager and they kept saying there isnt one, we cant connect you. very weird. Instead, 3 movers showed up which I dont think anything of assuming they just wanna get the job done at this point...and at the END of the move, they tried to charge me an extra $50/hour for the third mover and raise the rate again to $165. Completely unacceptable. 0 management, 0 communication, 0 professionalism. The crew themselves worked hard and were great I even tipped them $160. Nothing was broken, everything was delivered in one piece. thankfully. My issue is with management. Constantly changing pricing mid-job, poor communication, and dishonest billing practices. I decided to go with VIP Pro Moving after going through a few others. I spoke to Alex, who handles sales. He was professional and helpful. Originally I was going to go with another company because they had a better rate but VIP agreed to match. The team that we were assigned were Joh, Erik and Mansur. They called when they were going to be late than their assigned time. They were respectful of our house and properties; cordial and pleasant. They did request extra cost for moving my bed because of how heavy it was. But I confirmed with Alex that it is in fact under 300lbs, so shouldn't incur the extra cost, and he agreed. I'm writing this because what happened with VIP Pro Moving in Los Angeles, CA was not just unprofessional--it was fraudulent, deceptive, and a complete violation of trust. They tricked me into putting my card down under the pretense of a $100 deposit, claiming it was just to secure the move. At no point did they explain or disclose that this card would be used to charge the full balance--without my authorization. There was zero communication, no final quote, no phone call, no invoice, no consent. Just a blind charge that I had never agreed to. To make matters worse, they had my daughter sign paperwork under my name, claiming it was "just to confirm everything was delivered." That was a unethical move. She is not the account holder and had no authority to approve payment. They intentionally deceived her and used that as a green light to process charges behind my back. They also dragged out the move, wasted time, (as you'll see in photo my daughter took) and the manager promised me directly that those additional 30 minutes would be waived due to the inefficiency. That promise meant nothing--they charged me for every minute anyway. Let me be clear:     *    They never disclosed they would charge my card     *    They misled my daughter into signing under false pretenses     *    They broke their word about waiving wasted time     *    And they never sent a final quote or got proper authorization I am now working with my bank to dispute the charges, and I'll be reporting them to every consumer protection agency possible, including the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission, and consulting legal counsel. What they're doing is wrong. It's unethical. And it should be exposed. Avoid this company at all costs. If they can do this to me and my family, they can do it to anyone. read more

Because there's no walk through they also don't give out an estimate for the whole cost, that is, the number of hours/days packing and moving will take. So I am one of those crazy people that likes to budget way out in advance. So I actually contacted VIP pro moving a year ago! That's right. A person by the name of AJ called me. We both had a good chuckle because I don't think he thought I was for real. I explained to him that I knew I was moving for sure and just trying to get a ballpark estimate then we got down to business. AJ was very pleasant, professional, and I actually did a FaceTime video on WhatsApp with him to show him exactly what was going on. He is so good at his job that he actually knew exactly the size truck that I needed. So I paid a small deposit and got the move on the books. I picked VIP promo because of all the incredible reviews that they got, how could I go wrong? My move just got finished. This was not a local move. This was from Southern California to Northern California and a 26 foot truck. These guys showed up on time, worked very very hard, then drove through the night to meet me the next day at my storage facility. Crazy! They never complained, they never got attitude, they took very good care of my stuff, they wrapped everything and made sure it was secure. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Moving is always hard, but John, Mansur, and Sam made it so much better. We had a ton of stuff in our little two-bedroom house that, of course, was way more than we thought. We ended up needing to do a second trip, which meant that the guys had to do a 12-hour day. I cannot emphasize how incredible it was to be able to go back and do a second round. The guys were totally understanding and kind and willing to keep going even as it got late. The guys packed, wrapped, loaded and unloaded and basically never stopped moving. Slow, started slow, ended slow. A man 4"11 shows up and a man who is 5'9 to hull bulky items we told them about beforehand. We messaged them beforehand about the storage unit and how big it was, and they still picked a huge truck which couldn't cross the 10foot entrance to the storage unit, so it took longer to carry the stuff to the storage unit bc they had to park the truck on the street and haul it from the curb. Which added Alot to our time. Started at 9 ended at 5:30 for 1,240 dollars. Even the people in our building were stating how slow they were moving. After it they will stand over your shoulder demanding a yelp review and a 25% tip from a 1200 dollar expense. make sure when the representative promise you something get everything in writing because promises get forgotten. I am 64 years old and I have a bad back. It's hard for me to install my 85 inch TV. I clearly asked the representative if they were going to install the TV for me and they said yes they would do that as a favor for me at no charge, however , the crew just came in put the TV on the wall and they did not even connect the speakers to the TV so I could not hear anything coming out of Tv . In addition to that I was quoted an amount to get the job done but right in the middle of the move , all of a sudden they told me that one truck is not enough and they made me spend more money to bring another truck for their mistake . read more

Beware of these movers. If your items get damaged the company will engage in unethical practices and stop replying. Please check their low reviews and BBB complaints, you'll see a common trend where others have experienced similar. Initially they failed to reserve my move day, pushing me to the following day. Then on the day of the move, they only provided 2 movers instead of the 3 booked. VIP rectified the error providing a 3rd mover however this error resulted in a slow start and more overtime for the movers who arrived on-time. The main issue with VIP arrises when your items get damaged. I paid for full value protection (additional insurance). When trying to resolve the damage VIP refused to provide claim forms or the name of the handyman. For items that could not be repaired, VIP would only provide basic liability (reimbursement by weight), ignoring the additional insurance I purchased). When requesting resolution their employee, AJ, refused to allow me to speak to his manager and became agitated when I would cite sections of their contract. Finally VIP stopped replying to communication altogether. Lastly, beware of their moving team haggling for tips. They will linger after the job completion and pressure you for more [tips]. I hired a 6 man crew to move our family from a two story house into a one story house a few minutes away. Alan and team showed up on time, started promptly when they showed up, and were totally professional the whole time.
