Gregory, our onsite lead, was responsive, well organized, and his four-person crew worked very hard. My advice to anyone moving is to be realistic about how much stuff you have. I got three quotes. One company estimated one-and-a-half 27-foot trucks, while Royal and another company estimated one 27-foot truck. My move-out apartment was 895 sq ft with a large patio. Before moving day, I made two 10-foot Home Depot truck trips myself with the delicate and bulky items: my electric bike, Peloton, and other things that don't stack well. Royal filled a 27-foot truck with everything else, efficiently using all the available space. We did go a little over the estimate because of rush-hour traffic. The only part I didn't enjoy was the payment app prompting for a tip at checkout. After a long moving day, that was one unnecessary stress point because I never know what's considered an appropriate tip for professional movers. Fortunately, I had already planned ahead with cash tips and cold Gatorades for the crew throughout the day. I highly recommend Royal Movers. They made a difficult move much easier. I also gained a whole new respect for my son, his friend, and my old girlfriend, who helped me move the last time. We decided to go with the amazing team at CALIFORNIA MOVING for our big move from beautiful Newport Beach, CA to the state of Utah. The movers arrived and skillfully packed up all of our belongings in just three days. It was such a smooth and worry-free process. They really know how to handle delicate items with care. It took them two days to load everything onto a Semi Truck and a 26FT Boxtruck. Then, in just two days, they delivered and unloaded everything in our new home. It was such a relief for the whole family, as everything went without a hitch. We had a special item, a magnificent family cabinet from France, standing at a towering 9ft tall and 5ft wide. This incredible piece, dating all the way back to 1794, weighed over 700 pounds. The movers even brought a crane to ensure it could be safely transported, as it was too big to fit through our stairway. We are absolutely thrilled with our decision to hire CALIFORNIA MOVING for our move. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of professional and affordable moving services. WOW!!!! These people are by far THE BEST moving company, we relocated out of state and they not only gave us an amazing deal, they took care of all our items, nothing was broken, everything arrived earlier than expected and they were so helpful packing snd unpacking. If you are looking to move whether it is local, long distance or out of state these are the movers you need, they not only helped us pack up, they even helped us unpack, they assembled and disassembled our bed, and while I was shopping around for quotes, they took over an hour just to go over with me what exactly it's going to cost to move, they took all the time they needed to make sure I understood what I was paying for, they are so patient and they are so kind, they are very much trustworthy! If you are going to trust anybody with your items, these are the people, they even had to hold our stuff overnight and everything was safe and accounted for! I contacted California Moving Company on Yelp to move my sister's 1 bedroom apartment from Koreatown to Culver City. Guka was always super responsive and happy to accommodate us at 10-10:30 am instead of 8 am. The movers called prior to arrival to give an ETA and showed up promptly at 10:30. They were such troopers! Their manager, Johnny, even came to see how the job was going and even helped out for most of the move at no extra charge. Despite the long walk, 2 long flights of stairs at the first apartment and 2 more flights at the new apartment, as well as some creative maneuvering to get my sister's sofa out of her new apartment and into the new one, our move went smoothly. The movers had another job in the afternoon/evening, so there was no dawdling and they let us know how to use their time most efficiently. The move took 5 hours and if we ever need movers in the future, we would be happy to call California Movers again. read more

He was very helpful and willing to help me with my request in such a short notice! The price was very reasonable and worth it! They were very nice, helpful and professional made my move a lot easier and comfortable. The two gentlemen that came out to help with moving. My belongings were very friendly and thorough! They made sure that all my belongings were packed well secure, and safe to move. Accidentally I left my 4 foot picture frame that I had for 14 years that was very special and valuable to me. I contacted the company right away and them being loyal and honest they held the picture for someone to call to claim it and they delivered it to my doorstep and very next day! Antoni, Paul (or Pol?), and Vitaly were our movers and they did such a great job! They had us packed up and ready to transport in about 3 hours. They had a little lunch and came right over to the new house to unload. They were efficient and worked nonstop. I wish I took a video of the maneuver they did with the refrigerator to get it inside, it was amazing. They're strong and know how to leverage their body weight to move heavy items. They had great teamwork and communicated very well with each other. Hard-working and kind, we even had some laughs. Their problem-solving skills are impeccable, honestly. I don't think there was any damage to anything, but even if there is, they worked their butts off and were as careful as possible. I've already sent this company to a friend who is moving. They've moved us twice because we needed to get most of the things out of our house to prepare it for selling, and then the rest of our things when it sold. Scheduling with them is very easy, and the lady who does the booking is so friendly and helpful. Anatoly and Vitaly and a second Vitaly came for our last move. They called ahead, came early, worked fast, and kept all of our things safe. They were so conscientious and careful, and Anatoly asked us about anything he was unsure of. They are the best! Anton and Dima were amazing!!!! These two were so gracious and helpful in every way possible. They were EARLY, not on time but EARLY and so responsive every step of the way. Anton was such a sweet heart and checked to make sure I was in the know with what they were doing at all times. Our moving experience with California Moving Company was the best we've had out of the four moves we've undertaken. The guys were super friendly and professional and the services were time efficient and and effective. They also came prepared with tape, wrap, and larger boxes to consolidate the smaller ones in order to efficiently move our apartment. They even went above and beyond and offered moving and packing tips that would be really helpful for the next move, which I would not have thought about in the rush to finish packing. Wow. They are a blessing they saved my life honestly. I was trying to move a queen size mattress by myself and stuffing it in the car, like how I saw on TikTok.. when I was just giving up and no hope they literally pulled up next to me at the red light, and asked if I needed help .. they not only took my mattress, but they wrapped it, and helped me with everything else in my apartment. We moved from a one-bedroom in Lincoln Heights (with enough furniture and things to fit a 2 bedroom) to Highland Park. They are amazing hard working guys that arrived early and help with every detail. The apt building has 2 sets of steep outdoor stairs and the three guys went up and down dozens of times with heavy furniture without any issues in the hot son.
