Great prices. Clean facilities. Decent food. A great option in Canyon Lake. We fine here often.

Street taco without everything that makes it a street taco.

I went there all the time, but recently my orders have been wrong because the man answers. They refuse to give a refund and insist you drive all the way back there. I asked for fajita beef street tacos, got home and opened up my meal to a tortilla filled with meat... The time before that I asked for chips and queso and I got home and had a bag of chips and shredded cheddar cheese. I will not be going back here, as I simply asked for a few dollars off the entire meal since the whole thing was wrong and I didn't want to drive 20 more minutes there and back to correct their issues. They refused. Will never return, highly recommend new staff. I never post bad reviews but this place left a bad impression. I'll be making sure to tell all friends and family that visit to NOT go here. Literally paid $24 PLUS 15% tip FOR PICKUP and they won't refund a few dollars.

Good food and prices. Friendly service. It is a small place with limited seating but worth trying this place out.

I'm not sure if they're just this ignorant or they just don't give a f$&k. First, whoever works Sundays, the shorter older lady with glasses, leaves the phone off the hook in her pocket for 10 minutes at a time so if you're trying to order ahead good luck. It's not because they're that busy. You're going to get a busy tone for 10-15 minutes straight until she realizes. Today it was 17 minutes. THIS IS A REGULAR OCCURRENCE for at least two years now. We ordered 8 tacos and not a single taco was made correctly. Even after Laura repeated the order correctly on the phone somehow that did not translate to the computer. This is a family owned restaurant run by people who don't actually want to run a restaurant. My only hope is this place goes under completely so another descent restaurant can take its place but it's unlikely since the entire family lives in the backyard. Avoid this "restaurant" at all costs or risk wasting 50.00 for a bag of hot garbage food. We're having to make our own eggs to add to our tacos because some idiot wrapped 5 tacos with bacon only. Who tf orders 5 bacon only tacos? That's it, bacon and tortilla. Absolutely ridiculous.

The salsas were AMAZING, the beans and rice were unreal (which you know matters) + everything we ordered had so much flavor. The micheladas though... absolute perfection. They tasted exactly like the ones we've had in Mexico. We were genuinely sad we couldn't buy the house-made michelada mix to take home. If you're in Canyon Lake, this place is a must. Authentic, flavorful, and made with so much care. Easily the best meal of our trip and some of the best Mexican food we've had in a while.

The manager may have stepped in to help get things moving. Friendly staff! Ambiance was lively, music, nice crowd. I ordered the huevos rancheros with taco de barbacoa. If you're near SA you have to always order the barbacoa. It did not disappoint. I'm super picky about my eggs, but the eggs were cooked perfectly. Beans were good, a bit salty but okay. Potatoes were potatoes, cooked all the way through. The tortillas were fire! They are so soft, fluffy, and homemade which is all we really needed in our life that morning! We ordered the ham & egg plate, that was also good. Great food for the price in my opinion! Glad we dropped in, we would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

When we were checking out different suppliers for catering drinks at her wedding, we found out several things. Those included limited selection of companies in the area, prices ranging from low to exorbitant, and much difference in how those different companies interacted with us and our questions. Bourbon and Branch was the hands down winner. They were not the cheapest, but they were very willing to work with us. On the day of the wedding, they came early for set up. They interacted with all of the wedding party and gave everyone a "warm fuzzy feeling" which put the moms at ease. The actual bartender was a hit. She was funny, efficient, friendly, and kept the drinks flowing smoothly. Will I return? I don't have any more kids to marry off but based on my experience with them, I will definitely try their bar. If you have a wedding planned and are in need of bartender services, I recommend you give this business an opportunity for your most important date.

The beans were overly salty, the cheese was low-grade shredded cheddar, and the potato mix was oddly sparse on actual potato, peppers, and onions. Tortillas tasted either old or just cheap--not warm or soft. Salsas came in reused plastic bottles (a plus for sustainability!), but the roja had a metallic aftertaste. Service was the highlight. Staff were kind and helpful without being fake or pushy. I appreciate the effort to cut down on single-use waste--just hope they're rotating the salsa properly. Atmosphere had chill cafeteria vibes, which I'm into. One of my friends brought his puppy inside, which didn't thrill me--but if you're a "my dog goes everywhere" person, this place might be a win for you.
