    Mole enchiladas

Was really craving mole enchiladas and didn't know where to go. My friend told me this is the place. We went and both got the mole enchiladas plate..hit the spot! Will definitely be frequenting this joint.

Service was quick and friendly, we started with chips and salsa (decent) and our entrees came out quite quickly. PIPING hot! Both got chicken enchiladas with cheese sauce, with rice and beans. In a Friday night the place was pretty poppin. Last time we came on a week night and it was fairly quiet. Only complaint is that I got soda and both visits it was totally flat. Just get water instead

One of my favorite Tex Mex places, ever! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, it's all great! Incredible service and the food is always fresh and piping hot! Today I ordered the Tampiqueño plate, one of my favorites. I asked for chicken mole enchiladas instead of the chicken enchiladas in tomatillo sauce. I'm so full!

We tried La Posada for the first time and it was delicious! We are so happy to have discovered such a yummy spot close to home, we will be back!!!

L ordered mole Enchiladas and I had pork tamales with a puff beef taco. The rice was excellent and the beans good. Our entrees were outstanding! We started with Margaritas that were well made. Our server was attended and friendly. The interior was nicely appointed. We will return.

First time here decided to have Mexican food for lunch and decided in this cute place. Busy restaurant which means great food and it was just that Husband got the shrimp enchiladas w/tomatillo and he was amazed how tasty it was had the right blend of salt and tart from the tomatillos, shrimp was cooked perfectly- it was so good he brought it up 4 hrs later I got the carnitas plate the rice and beans so tasty I was disappointed with the carnitas it was so dry I think it was the way it was cut into cubes- will not be ordering carnitas again The standout was the chips and tortilla's it was the best

Nice place with lots of friendly servers, we were driving around when my wife was asking me for a coffee since Starbucks is in the same shopping center, I told her what about to go into this place? And she was sure let's try it. The place is nice and clean and the atmosphere is great, the servers Melanie and Isabel were the best with suggestions. Great food and drinks. No need to drive to San Antonio anymore for food like this. I can't wait to go back to this place.

La Posada is a hidden Tex mex gem in the south Austin community. The menu is vast as is their drink selection and the portions are incredibly huge! I especially looove their chips and house salsa. Their salsa has a little bit of heat to it which is nice. The food is really good, but with their combination plates everything seems to taste all the same. Unless you get green chicken enchiladas, mole, or tamales. The drinks are crazy good for the price, I have to be careful! Service can be slow when they're super busy. I don't think they're short staffed per say, more it just depends on who your server is. However they're all super nice and sweet. This is a pretty affordable bang for your buck kind of Tex mex restaurant.

I love this place for breakfast. Has the best tacos and carne guisada plate in Austin. Recommend everyone to go try it out.

I had previously tried to go to the Burnet Road location but they were PACKED on a Saturday night with a 90 minute wait but this time I called ahead to the the Parmer Lane location around 5:30 pm and put my name in. I arrived around 5:45 pm and was seated within 10 minutes. NOTES: - Reservations: no but you can call ahead to put your name in - Parking: free lot in front of the building - Online ordering: available on their website through ToastTab for pickup for delivery - Happy hour: weekdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm with half off some food items, $7 Mamaritas and La Playas, and $1 off cocktails, liquor, beer, and wine - Brunch: served Sat & Sun from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm THE HIGHS: - Server was friendly and gave recommendations - Complimentary chips and salsa (refilled throughout the meal) - Food came out quickly after ordering THE LOWS: - Busy around dinner time and kind of loud (great for celebrations but hard to hear each other at the table) - A little dark on the inside THE PRICE: Reasonable for the portion size and quality of food - Small queso compuesto ($9.99) - Barbacoa quesadilla ($16.99) - Barbacoa tacos ($16.99) - Pechuga Barbie ($19.99) - Side of abuelita rice ($2.99) - Sopapillas Aaliyah ($7.99) BEST BITES: - Barbacoa: delicious in both the quesadilla and tacos... super tender and flavorful - Queso compuesto: the meat, homemade quad, and pico are all fresh and add great texture to the melted cheese... perfect appetizer to split with a group THE VERDICT: I'd definitely return to Mama Betty's and recommend it to others! The Tex-Mex dishes felt slightly elevated compared to some other places and I love that they are locally owned and operated. They can be busy but it's worth waiting if you plan ahead and have the time!

For our entrées, we had Brian's Alambre Plate, the Chicken Mole, and the Line Cook's Snack Plate. Brian's Alambre Plate combines sirloin, pork pastor, house-made chorizo, and bacon with peppers, onions, and melted Jack cheese. It was good and certainly offers plenty of variety and flavor. For my personal taste, though, if I am primarily craving meat, I prefer Eldorado's Carne Guisada. There is nothing wrong with the Alambre, I just think the Carne Guisada is the stronger choice for me. The Chicken Mole is my wife's favorite, and unfortunately it is only offered as a special late on Thursdays. The house-made mole has a rich, distinctive flavor that works very well with the chicken, and it is easy to understand why she looks forward to it. The Line Cook's Snack Plate was also a great combination with two flautas, a choice of Chicken Caldo or Texas Red, Eldorado rice, and guacamole salad. It is a nice option when you want a little bit of several things rather than one large entrée. Overall, another very enjoyable meal at Eldorado Cafe. Good food, plenty of variety, and enough different flavors on the menu that everyone can find a favorite. We certainly have ours!

Both incredible and not too hot. I had the sirloin tampiqueño. I have never tasted steak so flavorful in my lifetime. Addictive and so tender and beautifully seasoned I couldn't even speak except for the mmmmm's... don't let the thin slice fool you. It was incredible!!! We also got the Friday night special Saudero taco on the HOMEMADE buttery delicious flour tortilla. Again the steak pieces in there were fantastic. The regular picadillo crispy taco was probably the best I've ever had. Homemade deep fried thick shells. Margaritas were expensive and small, but done RIGHT. Sam made them by hand not from a mix. It's a good balance because the food is FAIRLY PRICED!!! I am completely spoiled now and probably will just come here from now on. Next it's time to taste those great looking enchiladas!!!

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk).
