The fruit…read moreis incredibly fresh, sweet & noticeably larger than the average fruit you find at most grocery stores. They also have a great variety of unique premium fruits that I haven't seen anywhere else, which makes every visit fun to try something new (to name a few- pink mango, pink cosmo blueberries, chinese bayberry & white sapote). If you stop by during strawberry season, don't miss their strawberries... they're some of the sweetest & best I've had in California. Also, thank you Ray for the excellent customer service. He was friendly, knowledgeable & took the time to answer all of my questions. Overall, it's a great place if you're looking for premium, high-quality fruit & a unique selection. I'll definitely be back!

The layout of the store was very interesting because it looked like a mini market, and they sell fresh exotic fruits and snacks. Ordering a yogurt was a bit confusing because I did not see any pricing, but they had some instructions on how to order. Step 1: Choose dry Greek yogurt. Step 2: Pick up your fresh fruits (limit 3 items). Step 3: Choose Topping (Oats, coconut chips, or boom boom pearl). Step 4: Honey or Dark Chocolate My daughter picked a small jar of Organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt. Then she picked green grapes, mangos, and strawberries for her yogurt bowl. And we also picked boom boom pearl for topping, and chose honey at the end. Then the lady told me that the price was $24.08. It was pricey. I don't understand their pricing or explanation, even though I have the receipt. She told me that it took about 10-15 minutes to make it. Honestly, for the small jar of organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt, it tasted a bit sour, and I was not a fan of it. The presentation of the yogurt was nice; however, for the price that we paid, it was still a bit ripped off. The fruits were fresh, and the boom boom pearl tasted like popping boba was interesting. The Greek Yogurt was a bit too thick. I would rather go to the Açaí bowl place to have more fresh fruit and a bigger portion. The lady was friendly and helpful. But I would rather go to Açaí bowl and Yogurtland combined next time. P.S. I forgot to mention that they were out of honey, so no honey in the yogurt bowl.

Are they closing down someday or just trying to survive? There used to be a retail shopping center down the plaza, but it's currently under major renovations right now, so not many places to walk around. I liked the grocery items and prices inside because they're actually much cheaper here than elsewhere. You can find familiar brands of your favorite Chinese snacks and beverages. Fruits/vegetables/meats look decent for the selling price. Vibes inside felt more like mainland China with some Taiwanese folks working nearby. Expect old fashioned style employees in this spacious grocery store that doesn't have many grocery shoppers in it. Employees look hardworking, but it's pretty dead for business operations. You can still find takeout foods and the tiny barbershop/hair salon is still operating. Don't expect lots of tables and chairs at restaurants inside. Better foods are outside. It just felt like this place is struggling to survive or may go out of business eventually. I hope the shopping center nearby opens soon to attract more customers to the plaza. They have old style deli foods and BBQ plates. It needs more life around here. When I hear HK2 Food District, I was expecting much better foods/dining options inside, but it wasn't like that at all. It's just an old & local grocery store.

This looked like a big ol' farm store and from the second I saw it, I was pretty darn excited. This large store features ample parking, tables outside, and a petting zoo that didn't actually have any animals, but maybe they were just inside. The shop itself is full of baked goods, clothing, drinks, and literally everything else you can usually find at a farm style store. I was super tempted to pick up a bunch of chocolate when walking around, but since it was pretty hot outside I had to settle for the farms own Orange Juice and a big fat rice crispy treat with chocolate and pretzel on top. The orange juice was OH SO refreshing on this hot day and the rice crispy treat was really good as well. Overall, The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a great place to stop and pick up a few things. I really liked the two things I picked up and I can definitely see stopping back here the next time i'm in Pomona!

Some nice looking little platters such as seafood, cooked vegetables with yam paste, some really nice looking salads for only $4.99 with edadame/beans (looks really healthy), the salmon eggs on chirashi bowls and sushi look Huge! I didn't get anything ready made, but might drive here for lunch sometime, lmao Good selection of different miso, some crafted miso as well. They have Organic Tofu for $1.99, and also packs of 3 nattos for $1.79-$1.99 We also got some umeboshi, which Cindy helped me find. Both of the staff I was talking to treated me kindly and were friendly! Also got Warabi Mochi Matcha - Must get! It's so addicting, the mochi is more jello like and so good + refreshing! The mugwort rice cake with red bean paste was also good, but I may reconsider getting this again, just not as good as the Warabi Mochi Matcha! Also picked up a Shimanoka Shiso - not sure how to use this yet, but very excited to have on bread or as a topping on rice. They have a good selection of ice cream, some cute utensils/pots/bowls section, as well as a small medicinal section. Really loved perusing this store, will probably be back since I realized I'm out of miso lol

I especially like stopping by for their ready-made meals, fresh produce, and unique seafood selection. The produce section is always clean, well-organized, and easy to shop. One of my favorite finds is their frozen fish slices--they're perfect for making fish porridge at home. I also keep an eye out for their fresh shrimp whenever they're on sale. They're sweet, firm, and have a wonderfully crisp texture. Before heading to the checkout, I almost always stop by the bakery. Their buy 5 get 1 free bread promotion is hard to pass up, and it's a great way to stock up for the week. Another tip: if you're shopping later in the day, check out the sushi section. They often mark down fresh sushi during certain hours, making it an even better value. If you're in the neighborhood and need groceries, fresh seafood, or a quick meal, don't let the ratings discourage you. It might just surprise you--I know it keeps me coming back!
