This has become one of our favorites because it is authentic Mexican food and the service is very good. Since the last review we have discovered that their Mexican Shrimp Cocktail is amazing as are their tacos and burritos. I personally like the beef tongue (lengua) in mine and it is authentic and hard to find in most Mexican Restaurants in the United States. read more

Have been by this place a dozen times but never stopped. We took our realtor out for an early lunch and it was really good. We sat out back on the little patio and the ambience was terrific. The seafood soup is full of a variety of seafood like fish, shrimp, squid, and crab. The broth is hot and delicous and mildly spicy. My friend got the La Roca Platter and the shrimp was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, along with the steak and chicken. The beans on his plate looked a little thin but still had a good flavor. My friend got a vegetarian taco salad looked delicious and she loved all the grilled veggies. I would love to try this place again the next time I am in town. Lincoln city doesn't have good food so the bar is low, La Roca was a decent option for us. They had good selection of usual Mexican food. Margarita was pretty good too. Service was prompt and kind. read more

Even though yelp says it's closed.We were staying close by and came by for take out: 3 items for $17! 2 tacos and 1 chicken enchilada... they were all soo flavourful, and definitely hit the spot! We ordered takeout and were surprised to get homemade tortilla chips and both hit salsas- verda and roja... My fellow yelpers let me down on this one. This place does not deserve 4.5 stars. It is okay. Nothing special to go out of the way for. The chips we were served were kinda stale and weren't really authentic/homemade like you hope to get from Mexican restaurants. I wouldn't be surprised if they were from a .99 bag. The fajitas we got were decent. The beans and rice that it came with solid. The table we were seated at was near the cash register was obviously lopsided and awkward to sit at. It was off probably a couple inches from one end to the other. They should pay attention to detail and figure out a way to get it level for guests or just not sit them there. read more

La Roca was really good. I love that they serve Jamaica. It's a tiny restaurant with some seating indoors and outdoors, and has all kinds of food on their menu. Their vegetarian burrito was delicious and so was their jamaica. Seating time was next to nothing, but after we were seated, a lot of other people started to show up. Due to social distancing, it took a while for some to have a table. I give this place a thumbs up for great customer service, too. read more

Took over an hour! After no apology, I asked if there was anything they could do for us to make up for the long wait and they tried to offer two Mexican sodas... REALLY?! It was the a couple days before the next 2 week freeze in OR due to Covid, and we wanted to support another local business. This place was a great choice for sure! I was craving my favorite of nachos, and went with their super nacho, which had chicken, beef, and pork! It was great! Beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and jalapeño, topped with sour cream and guac.
