Wonderful Puerto Rican spot to have breakfast in El Paseo Boricua! I really liked the decor, music, and vibe of this place. The sandwiches were great, and they made me very nostalgic for the sandwiches my grandfather used to prepare for me when I was a little kid. Somehow they taste so similar! Was out and about for work meetings today and stopped by this place. It was not crowded at all, but I suppose I was having a pretty late lunch. It was our first visit and definitely will NOT be the last!! We arrived shortly before closing time so ordered our 2 sandwiches to go. The staff was so friendly and welcoming!! We got a grilled cheese and Spam (had to try it!) sandwich. The bread they use is wonderful- it's not thick - but great flavor and allows for good balance with the other ingredients. We enjoyed both sandwiches!! I can't wait to return for breakfast and have a sandwich with egg!!! We also got a coffee - the coffee flavor was great, but if you order it with milk/cream and sugar (as we did) know that it will be pretty sweet - so we'll ask for no sugar next time (we prefer less sweet). They have a cute indoor space and a nice outdoor patio area to dine there. They also have a bar with an excellent beer selection!!! read more

Ive been eating here since I was 6. Today i came in and the lady must have been having a bad day. She was super rude when i asked what kind of ham they had since they were all out of turkey. Then i had to come and turn around to get my sandwich remade because they charged me for a egg that was not on the sandwich but was well written on the bag. The inconvenience really ruined my meal. & then when I got back she took the half eaten sandwich which i swear is AGANIST covid-19 protocols.
