I ordered off door dash (first time) and one of my items was missing. The man who answered the phone was incredibly rude in the way he talked to me.He told me I only ordered three items, when I ordered four. I told him I had the receipt from door dash and a charge to my bank to prove it and that the delivery guy was going to come up and get my missing item for me. He told me no, he only charged me for three, that I was wrong. He told me to call door dash and deal with them. This was my first time ordering with them and my last. Door dash refunded me my money, they have great customer service! Formerly La Shish restaurant the recipes here are the same. Delicious Lebanese food that is flavorful and healthier than fast food. The bread was the best I'veever had. It was served pipping hot right out of the oven. The bread had steam coming out when I tore off a piece. I love when the bread is perfectly filled and doesn't have a pocket. The accompanying garlic sauce and hummus was heavenly. The lunch menu has a broad range of choices including grilled lamb chops. I enjoyed the L-chops with a side of rice and house salad. This is my favorite middle eastern place in the neighborhood. The chicken is always tender, the ghallaba is always tasty, the garlic butter is perfect. The pita bread is always hot, right out of the oven. But I can't eat wheat anymore, so I have to eat it vicariously through others. read more

The bread is wonderful and delicious, always hot and they give you lots of garlic butter to go with the bread and a little side of salsa. This restaurant is not new it was previously named lasharm. I highly suggest you try this restaurant. I would recommend giving yourself a little extra time as it takes them a while to get the food ready probably about 30 minutes minimum. I LOVE this restaurant and have gone here for many years. I have gone there on many different occasions and the staff there take the time to know me, my friends, colleagues etc... by name. We usually go to Shish House but they didn't answer their phone so we tried a carry out from here tonight. WHAT A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! I ordered a shish tawook dinner, I repeated 4 TIMES not to add onions or parsley. I pick my food up and my salad is COVERED with onions and stale pita chips, straight to the trash. I specified an allergy but got them anyway. My chicken was charred black, really really black. The entire dinner was completely burnt, not to mention ALL the parsley I specifically told them I didn't want. When I called he wants me to bring back all of my horrible dinner to replace. I got vegetable Ghallaba (you know, where it clearly states: POTATOES USED AS A MEAT SUBSTITUTE" what did they do? They put soggy oily FRIES in that seemed like they were left over, or even worse, from someone previously eating them. I know times are tough but they're not that tough to be that disrespectful. If there was no stars our of 5 to be selected, I would select that one. My husband & I went there for lunch this past Sunday after church with my family. The waiter which is an older man, was very rude with us through his tone and actions. He took our orders and did not write them down; when he repeated it back to my mother she told him it was incorrect he got mad when she corrected him. Every time we asked him for something, he would come back to our table annoyed. When he brought our garlic, salsa and bread he didn't set the plates gently and even put one on top of my brother's wallet (which almost spilled everywhere). We let it go with kindness and ignored it, and thought okay it was an accident. He brought out our soups and instead of placing them nicely in front of us he handed them in our hands rushed and the soup spilled- (thank God there was a plate underneath because he did so right over my newborns carseat). I know I was not the only one upset because everyone at the table started saying "man i do not like this guy" or "what is wrong with him" "we didnt do anything wrong" "maybe he doesnt like us". We were polite and saying thank you every time and addressing him respectfully. He came at the end with our bills and thats when we received a "refill" for our drinks. We couldnt wait to leave. For this poor and unacceptable service I DID NOT LEAVE A TIP. I was stopped at the front register and asked if i left cash because they saw no tip left on the card. And I said no i did not and they had the guts to even ask "why" and i said because "I did not like the service." The man said "okay" and called the waiter in their native language and he came running to the front door as we were peacefully walking out with our mother and children and started yelling at me asking what I didnt like and in which i responded "i didnt like the way you catered to me and my family, you were very rude"...he continued to yell back and paced back inside after which he argued more with my brother. The food was good but the experience made everything horrible even the food itself. Also tip is not mandatory or a law, it is given for exceptional service.
