Its located in a tough spot to get a parking spot in South Mizner area, but we got lucky and landed a spot right by the front door. They had just moved to this new location from nearby a few months ago. It still felt kinda new inside in a good way. There wasn't many people there when we arrived. We were able to easily get a couple spots at their nice oaken bar. There were a handful of friendly staff there that were quick with some wine and some of their happy hour Montaditos. We tried the sangria as well which they had a large container of on the bar. We tried the potatoes, duck breast, shrimp, and Jamon iberico and manchego. Everything was darn good, the iberico possibly the best. Oh, and the Spanish omelet was a nice bite as well. It was a nice happy hour; much better than going to the gym. We will have to stop in again soon. They had alot of different plates to try.

I think they're all pretty good but our favorites are the piquillo relleno--a small, whole stuffed red pepper with goat cheese, the classic pan con tomate, churrasco, and cordero estofado. I would say those are the most flavorful ones and on our regular rotation. They also have an almond cake we always order that is imported from Spain. Served warm and à la mode, it has a little crusty edge and a very moist, dense crumb. Not too sweet. Sometimes they serve it drizzled with chocolate and I prefer it without.

The main display was full of pastries which included bonello, cookies, breads and small cakes. The golden brown bonellos (well priced at $2.00) were absolutely massive and decided to have one to split with the wife. The server advised that the cafe only serves Colombian drip coffee from a basic kettle, which she proudly pointed at (see pic). Based on this unforeseen depressing news, the mammoth bonello no longer seemed that spectacular. This was a first for me, a Colombian cafe that only serves drip coffee? Cmon. I took the bonello to my vehicle and took a few bites which were tasty, but rough on the swallows down. It would have been complemented perfectly with an espresso. On a good note, the gender neutral bathroom was clean with two-toned tiled flooring and a corian sink.

The servers were really great and quick with any request from the guests. They have at least two private rooms at this location for private events off to the side from the main dining area. One has natural light with a lot of windows, which is where this baby shower was held. The other one is more closed off without natural lighting. Not sure the price point as I was just a guest, but everything was really beautiful and I believe there was about 20 to 25 guest in attendance for this private room.

I've gone about 3 times and every time it's the same. Service lacking. Food quality was ok - the tuna always has a slimy texture. Drinks ok. I kept coming back hoping it would improve. My last visit the service was the best it was & the manager was very helpful which I why I give it 4 stars (because it was going to be 3) They do have a really good burger which you wouldn't expect but it was amazing! Another reason for only knocking 1 star vs 2 I don't think I'll be going back to the boca location. I'd rather make the trip to PGA
