Perfect for a modestly priced lunch. The food and especially the salsa is worth it alone. The facility is huge and there is Halsey a y wait, Family favorite for sure we walked the World Cup here and the ambiance was phenomenal. The service is on point and they also do catering..,

I can come here for just the chips and salsa. I wish they would freeze or overnight to us in Texas. Plenty of parking however it gets very packed. Food is good, it's not oh my god to die for like the chips and salsa but over all very good.

Haven't been to La Tolteco in many, many years. What a change! We walked in, they have tables and booths, and a bar! Seating at the bar and on the backside too which has a nicer small seating area. NICE!! They have 5 tv's in the bar area which was cool cuz we came to see the Fifa game. The chips weren't my favorite, baked and cold. But the salsas were good. The bartender/server was on it.. The food.. I ordered taquitos which chunky guac ala cart. My guy ordered the shrimp ceviche. Both meals were very good. Will definitely return..

Local spot we go to every once in a while. Love that we can sit down and enjoy some chips and salsa while we wait for our food. I usually get the compuesta (sp?) with shredded beef. This time I got a side of chile relleno and street tacos. The meat in the taco was seasoned well. Will definitely get it again. I topped it with the creamy guacamole- yum! The hubs got a quesadilla and he enjoyed it. Service is always great and I love the homey atmosphere.

I've driven by this place 10+ years. I always assumed it was a grocery store not a restaurant. Today I popped in for an early dinner after my niece's soccer game. There's a private parking lot with plenty of parking. Her entire team dined together. The team ended up taking up the patio area. When you walk in, turn right. You must order at the register before taking a seat. Pricing is reasonable. Food is decent. The guac could use some salt. The chips could use less salt. My sister and I each ordered the enchilada plate served with beans and rice. She ordered chicken and I ordered beef. We both got red sauce and a side of guac to share. After ordering, you pick up your chips, guac, and drink. Then sit somewhere and they'll bring you your food. The food was good. However, I was disappointed that it only came with one enchilada. It was alright, but doesn't taste authentic. I really wanted tacos, but I saw on Yelp their tacos are not authentic. They're served in a fried tortilla which is very American. Would I return? Sure. Decent food. Decent price. But it won't blow your mind.

La Tolteca is a classic in this area. The fresh ground corn products are amazing. We've gotten prepared masa to make tamales and it came out moist. The fresh fried chips taste like corn and salsa are delicious and a great addition to a party since you can get pint, quart, etc. I've never dined here, always gotten take away. But parking is easy with a large free lot.

Sergio is the best server/bartender ever. Everytime I come he greets me with the best costumer service ever. Totally recommend !

Food it's well size portions and is made with real red sauce usually is used for Mole from Oaxaca. It is a delicious food. This place makes their own tortillas is why it makes it more authentic if you're eating burritos, Tacos ,Burritos, enchiladas, this place's been around in Azusa community since 1948 started original tortilla factory, still lazy tortilla factory, but in the front they have a beautiful place grade for gatherings that a full Cantina, large size for family gatherings I gave the food four stars

Friends love this place, very thin carne asada and yet they were delicious. I got the de la olla beans, and their salsa is delicious. Service - you order and they bring the food out to you. Ambiance is chill, semi loud with so many people but overall it's great!

Chips tastes weird and bland like they are from commercial bags and the hard shelled tacos taste like they are not freshly cooked. I doubt I will return. There are too many other Mexican eateries with better quality than this place. Salsa tastes like it's from a jar. Nothing great about LT anymore. Sad.

We pass this place all the time and finally decided to stop in. It's a solid spot and is what you would expect from Mexican-American cuisine. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is an 'order at the counter' setup where they bring the food to your table. The space itself is open and clean, making it a great choice for a large group or just a casual meetup. Definitely worth a visit!

1/2/2026 3pm Placed order at the counter for 2 enchilada plate and combo plate. Received our cups, chips and salsa with a side of chunky guacamole Service is friendly and easy. 3:30 received our order and tried all the things. Chile verde was good on flavor and texture. Cheese enchilada good. Taquito and taco, nice crispy set up, good portion, shredded beef is on the dry side but you can cover that in sauce if you want. I will stick to other items I enjoy more. My top are still pork tamale and cheese enchilada. Place was packed and is definitively a community institution with 70 years of history. Happy New Year!

    Beef enchilada plate
    Natalie V.

As a regular here, the quality is pretty consistent. I ordered the beef enchilada plate with red sauce and it didn't disappoint. I was extra satisfied because my chips tasted fresh and crunchy. Sometimes the chips taste a bit dated which is a bummer. I would recommend this dish because the beef is always tender and flavorful. The rice and beans hit the spot too!

We started with guacamole and chips and fish tacos, then shared a big platter with carne asada, grilled chicken, cheese, nopales, grilled cebollitas and more, along with rice and beans. There was plenty of food to share, everything came out beautifully presented, and everything we tried was delicious. We finished with the churros, which were also really good. The drinks were very well made and actually nice and strong! I appreciate that because so many places serve drinks that taste watered down, and that definitely wasn't our experience here. The restaurant itself is really cute and has some great signs and backgrounds for pictures. We got some really nice group photos for our social media, and one of the employees even volunteered to take a picture for us so we could all be in it, which was really sweet. Even the girls' restroom was super cute and nicely decorated. You can tell they put thought into the little details throughout the place. Our waitress, Marissa, was wonderful from beginning to end. She was sweet, attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout the night. The other employees we interacted with were also very friendly and helpful. I'm really happy our first experience here was such a good one. I would definitely come back for another girls' night, but I could also see myself coming back with my husband and kids for a family dinner. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Host and waitress were really friendly. We ordered the calamari, molcajete with a Jamaica. Calamari: 5/5 This appetizer was a great way to start our celebration. It was crispy enough to keep you wanting more. The flavor wasn't too fishy and it was accompanied by some tasty dipping sauces. Would definitely order again. Molcajete: 4/5 A favorite at our table that was filled with so many protein options and a nice salsa to pair with. We loved the chicken, chorizo, and the queso!! The only reason it got a 4/5 was because the steak was waaaay too salty which made it hard to enjoy. The shrimp was a nice touch, also not too fishy and the bacon paired nicely. You can definitely taste a variety of flavors and it's also a big enough portion to share! Comes with beans and rice which we ended up splitting with our kiddos. Jamaica: 5/5 We loved the Jamaica here and it tastes very traditional. It doesn't taste like it's made from powder and comes in a huge glass cup. Not too sweet and the bold flavor of the hibiscus makes it hard to stop drinking! Loved it. Overall, a great place to dine in for celebrations or just for a nice dinner. Would definitely recommend if you're nearby. I hope to come back soon.

Pros: delicious breakfast burritos…read more Cons: confusing concept it's a virtual restaurant inside of Dog Haus I yelped "burrito" because I was in a burrito mood for breakfast. How can you pass up an opportunity to try a place called "badass breakfast burritos." 4 stars- mouth watering burrito pictures. I had to try it. Slowly driving by looking for a restaurant named "badass breakfast burrito" I was confused because I didn't see any signs. I had to park and read some reviews. One of the 1 star review mentioned they couldn't find the restaurant after driving around for 10 minutes. The reply from the owner mentioned it was a virtual restaurant located inside dog Haus. So confusion cleared up-- I went to dog Haus. The restaurant is divided into 2 areas. One of the areas near the bar and the other is near the cashier. The bar dining area has their dining chairs folding up and upside down on top of the table. It's in the "I'm closed " position. I can't blame them cause I'm not here to drink. It's just awkward cause it's such a big place. The whole place seemed like it was ran by one guy. I picked my burrito and ordered it. "The fonz" I didn't want to hype myself up. But when I got home turned on Netflix and had my first bite. It was wonderful. Size was decent. The outside was grilled like a crunch wrap supreme at Taco Bell. The tots were indeed crispy. Eggs fluffy. Bacon crispy. Couldn't taste the pastrami. The sauce was pleasantly spicy. 100% recommend to my friends and family.

Worst service I have experienced in a long time…read more We visited Saturday, August 22, around noon. I ordered two chilaquiles plates for my parents, who are 84 and 89. We were given only one plate. We were only charged for one, but because I was paying for four people and the total was already high, I didn't catch the mistake at checkout. Rather than make my 89-year-old father wait while everyone else ate, my mother split her plate with him. Then we realized they had prepared the eggs incorrectly. We ordered over-medium eggs specifically because my father loves the runny yolk. They served them over-well. He didn't realize the mistake until he had eaten much of the egg white and cut into the yolk. I told the server, and she initially said they would replace the eggs. Then she returned and told us they needed to TAKE THE HALF-EATEN EGGS BACK FROM HIS PLATE before they would give him the eggs we originally ordered. I was stunned. My father had already eaten much of the egg white. The remaining egg was sitting on top of the chilaquiles and beans he was eating. They wanted my 89-year-old father to remove the half-eaten remnants of their incorrectly prepared egg and hand them back before they would replace it with what we had ordered in the first place. I explained that the error was theirs, that we had not received what we ordered, and that my father had already eaten part of the egg before discovering the yolk was completely cooked through. The server still refused to replace the eggs unless we surrendered the half-eaten ones. What exactly were they planning to do with a partially eaten egg from a customer's plate other than throw it in the trash? That interaction was so petty, unsanitary-feeling, and inhospitable that it overshadowed the entire meal. The coffee didn't help. It was lukewarm and extremely bitter. Then there is the tipping system. You pay and are prompted for a tip before receiving your food or experiencing any service. We carried our own drinks to the table and got our own water. After the missing order, incorrectly prepared food, and argument over surrendering a half-eaten egg, I genuinely wondered what I had tipped for. Ringing up the order? Mistakes happen in restaurants. A missing plate or incorrectly cooked egg would not have prompted me to write this review. It was the way the mistake was handled. When your restaurant makes an error, replace the food. Don't argue with a customer over a half-eaten egg, especially while an 84-year-old woman is sharing her meal with her 89-year-old husband because his order was never placed (though requested). It was one fiasco after another. We will never return.

A Fun Little Mexican Spot for a Birthday Celebration!…read more Came here after work to celebrate a coworker's birthday, and we were greeted with a pretty good vibe and atmosphere! It wasn't packed at all around 5 PM on a Thursday, which was perfect for a little after-work dinner. The restaurant has a cool, casual Mexican vibe, and our waitress was super friendly and attentive throughout the meal. La Cosecha Molcajete -- $39.99 | 7/10 This was actually my second time ordering the La Cosecha Molcajete, so I already knew what I was getting into! A molcajete is basically a sizzling stone bowl filled with grilled meats, seafood, veggies, cheese, and a flavorful sauce--all served together so you can mix and match every bite. This one came loaded with skirt steak, chicken, two shrimp, cactus, cheese, and chorizo, along with a side of rice and beans. I also asked for both flour and corn tortillas, but only received the corn tortillas. Flavor-wise, it was decent! I've had molcajetes at several other Mexican restaurants, and I'd say this one was good but not my favorite. The sauce was flavorful, but I've definitely had better sauces elsewhere. Still, there's something fun about having a giant sizzling bowl of meat, shrimp, cheese, and all the fixings landing on your table! A few of my coworkers ordered other dishes that you'll see pictured, although I didn't personally try them enough to give ratings. My coworker did mention that the shrimp tacos were good but that she's had better. Overall, this is a cool little spot to grab some Mexican food, especially if you're looking for a casual place to hang out with coworkers or friends. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the molcajete was definitely fun to order! Would I come back? I wouldn't say no! There are still plenty of things on the menu I'd love to try. Happy Eats!
