I need to put out there that I DO NOT recommend Lunaria Birth & Wellness. I started with them…read morearound August 2021 when I was pregnant. Communication was difficult, but I always give the benefit of the doubt. I had to go to MFM to get a dating ultrasound, and it took 2 weeks to even get them to properly send the fax report. In fact, I believe they ended up calling in the referral. I didn't have anything else with them until my 12 week appointment, as that is usually when midwifery care starts. My 12 week appointment they took blood (that I never received results from and still do not know what they collected) and sent me on my way. I lost the baby before my next appointment. That is a whole other story, but I ended up calling my midwife while in the emergency room, and she said they were going to work on getting me into the hospital they work with. I never heard from them. I advocated for myself in the emergency room (the second time in there) and ended up having a D&E. I was told that they would have a bereavement doula reach out. I was told that they would send me an email that has an explanation of fertility appointments that I can take advantage of. Nothing, I got nothing. I had an appointment set for 18 weeks-ish. No one called me to tell me it was cancelled so I assumed we kept it to talk about next steps. I arrived and No one was there. They told me they took me off of the schedule because they didn't know if I would still be in the hospital or not. Okay. That's fine. Again, I really try to give the benefit of the doubt. At this point, I have paid my deposit AND they took a payment while I was recovering from my surgery. So they have a little over $2k from me. Time went on, I had a few chemical pregnancies. I called to ask if I could get a referral for an ultrasound to make sure everything was okay. It took a lot of calling back and forth, including me mitigating with MFM, who ultimately wouldn't take me because I wasn't pregnant. They sent me to a third party, who was really sweet, and she said results will be in Monday (4/11). Monday came and went, I never heard from Lunaria. I called the next week, thinking maybe they were just busy; and was told they would email me the results. I never got the results. I called again a week later, was told they should be in my email and that they will send them again. Once again, I did not get them. I called one last time, at the end of May, over a month from when I had the ultrasound. They finally read me the results over the phone and sent them to me via email. They told me I had an 8 cm cyst. That I may have to go in and have it removed. That a doctor may make me have a hysterectomy. She said she would get back with me two days later. She never did. So I called the OB office that did my surgery and managed to get an appointment with them. They read the results I had emailed to me and told me that what I was told was a cyst was my uterus. That I do not have a cyst. I called Lunaria (6/17) after that phone call and told them that this was unfortunately the last straw for me. That I try to give grace, but this was too much. I wanted a detailed invoice, and I wanted a refund. I was told that the head midwife was in Dubai and wouldn't be back until the following week. I called (6/22) and was told she was back but was jetlagged. Okay. Understandable. I called the next day (6/23) and was told that she was working on it right now and will get it to me. I didn't receive anything so I called the next day (6/24) and was told they are working on it but I need to give them a day or two. It was Friday, so I called today, Monday. This time, I was told their birthing center roof fell in so they were having to work from home. But that she was working on it. I told her I wanted a call from the head midwife. I have not heard anything yet. At this point, I am not sure what is taking so long. I had one actual appointment with them. I had a couple back and forth phone calls that amounted to nothing. I will not be using them again, and, as nice as the people are, I unfortunately do not recommend them. I'm hoping to get an invoice soon, but if not, I will be asking for them to refund everything.

However, I asked for help and feel as though I was failed. I reached out to Blooming Tree after becoming desperate regarding postpartum doula services. I spoke with Calli via email. She indicated that she would call me later that evening regarding scheduling, due to having availability the following week. I sat around that evening waiting for that call, and it never happened. I did not receive an email, text, call or anything regarding rescheduling. My husband reached out the following day, and we did not receive a response that day either. So, we didn't bother following back up and chose an agency that displayed excellent communication and reliability.

That I had guilt and needed counseling and could never meet expectations that were expected of me because I can't stick to rules. The person he described is not me at all, and anyone I have shown it to is shocked at how far off he is. I don't know if he did it to be "safe" or if he did it because of it being "forensic" but after only spending 20 min with me and coming to the conclusions he did is awful. I paid a lot of money so I could fulfill my dreams, showing to be compliant not because I HAD to, and it ended up hurting me because he didn't actually get to know me. I went to the cheapest person available and I regret it. If your future is on the line and you aren't just seeking personal healing, I'd choose someone else. I will say when he met with 20 minutes he seemed genuine. He seemed caring and if I was seeking him for anything other than what I was I'm sure he is great. Again... I think it was the reasoning of why I was there that set how I was treated.

After I went by his office to schedule the appointment, Dr. Pugliese personally called me to pick a day and time that was convenient for me, and he saw me within a week. On the day of the appointment, as I entered his private office, it looked just as I'd imagined a mental health professional's office would look. Very refined and relaxing. We met for quite a while as he acquired my personal information. He was very calming and relaxing. He genuinely seemed interested in me, even though I was not there for mental health counseling. When I next went into a private office to take a rather detailed standardized mental health evaluation, his staff made sure i was comfortable. I couldn't be more pleased with his manner and professionalism. I hope I never need professional counseling, but if I do, I'll definitely call upon Dr. Pugliese.

Not only did she backtrack, she is now calling me a liar for leaving a review on her page. Threatening to sue me for leaving a real review. Save your money, this business is horrible. This is how they treat clients, my MIL was gifting us this as an anniversary gift, since my husband just returned from Afghanistan. Jenna and her front desk attendant was very rude, and dishonest. I have all the messages to prove this.

I don't think I can live without my monthly (or more often sometimes) massages!…read more I was having major back problems when I first met my therapist. I had taken pain meds, been to a chiropractor, etc. It was also giving me migraines. She got me in, even though she was really supposed to be done for the day, just because she didn't want me to continue to be in pain. She worked on my back for a while and couldn't find anything. Then she had me turn over and found a muscle on my lower rib that was referring the pain. It made no sense to me but she was completely right and fixed it immediately. Since that time she has fixed shoulder pain and helped me rehab through frozen shoulder. I commute a long way and she had helped with sciatica caused by driving so much. She also does a great job on my neck and lower skull that is helping with migraines. The most important thing is that she listens carefully when you tell her what you like, what you don't, and what's going on with your body. She can teach you stretches and help you break bad habits. She is really good at helping you improve things yourself to try to prevent that pain in the future. I honestly consider this a medical treatment at this point because it had made me not need pain meds anymore and not miss as much work with headaches. UPDATE: it took me a whole year to work up the courage to try the float pod. My son did it and loved it, but I was still nervous!! It definitely helped that they explained it all to me before hand. It's very simple, but it was still reassuring to hear how to work the lights, music, etc. They have "pool noodle" type floats and headrests if you want them. I used the headrest at first but then decided I didn't need it. They also have earplugs if you don't want water in your ears. And a hair dryer for after you shower if you want it! It was NOTHING like I expected. I thought it would be like floating in a pool, because I thought your body was relaxed when you do that. Nope! You literally do NO work in the float pod. The salt content lifts you up! It really does feel like you're kind of suspended in mid-air. I couldn't imagine what I would think about the whole time, but it didn't matter because I fell asleep within minutes. I would wake up periodically and just notice how relaxed I felt and then go back to sleep. I wish I could explain better. I don't like to sleep during massages because I don't want to "miss" it. But this was different. It was a very restful and relaxing hour! I expected to be groggy when I got out, but I wasn't. I felt great, even though I had been asleep. I felt perfectly awake right away. My joints felt a lot of relief from pain I've had recently. I thought the room would be cold when I got out but it wasn't. There was never any cold from the pod, to the shower, to the room itself. It was all very comfortable. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, along with really nice fluffy towels and washcloths. (They smell good too! I need to see what kind of detergent they use!) If you are claustrophobic I don't think it will be a problem. It wasn't for me-- my son gave a very good analogy. It is the equivalent of being in the back of a minivan with all the seats taken out. When you sit on the floor, you don't feel claustrophobic because there is so much space around you. The float pod is about that same size. (Haven't measured--just guessing) I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it. I will definitely do it on a regular basis now!!

I had my second VBAC with Ashley, and she was there for me every step of the way supporting me in my bodily autonomy all while working to ensure my safety and baby's safety. Ashley does not cut corners and firmly believes that you are in charge of your medical care and in charge of your body. With the excellent safety training she receives I was confident that she would be the best choice for us as we home birthed. I had my beautiful daughter at 37 weeks gestation, and she was born into my hands in the birthing pool in my bedroom, while Ashley guarded us, guided us, and held space for us and honored my wishes for the things we could control. Ashley and her crew did an excellent job with clean up and then they tucked me in and gave us space to recoup and bond. She was in constant communication with me through the next 24 hours and came back to check on us the next day, and several more days that week to ensure all was as it should be. If I were to have another baby I would use Ashley and Revolution Birth Services without hesitation - and so should you!

She sat with him, talked with him and got to know him in the short time she was there. Samantha has the best bedside manner and answered all of our questions. She made my dad feel seen and safe. The day my dad passed she got to our home about an hour before he passed and was there talking with him and us. After he passed she stayed to clean him up and talked with us (and him) reassuring us all the way through. I appreciate her and all the things that she has done for our family. Another nurse I'd like to give recognition to is Rosie P. She was also there the day my dad passed (about 5 hours before) Rosie checked my dad fully, talked with him and gave great advice and instruction for my dad. These are 2 of the best nurses that I've encountered. Again, I appreciate them to the fullest. Thank yall for everything!

New Centuty Hospice nurses and staff were exceptional from day one. The care and counseling they provided to my brother was outstanding in every way. Not only did they care for my brother's needs but counseled and ministered to us as well. It still amazes me that there are such good people on this earth who would undertake such a daunting calling. These people simply take money from you for their rituals and materials to overcome your obstacles without any positive result. The hundreds of dollars that you pay them does no effect. Even when I kept telling them that I see no change in my situation and its only getting worse, they just kept taking more money from me to do more rituals to fix the situation. When I lost my battle in court, they simply didn't have an answer and said I should come in to know the reasons, while the previous day they said everything looked great and I was on track to win during their meditation sessions. Very fake..do not recommend!
