The ONLY reason I decided to cancel my membership was because I was diagnosed with a brain bleed. I have no time, nor the strength or energy to continue. I called twice to speak with someone because that is the only way to cancel-No answer. After eventually getting a hold of someone they sent my cancellation form. I filled out and returned the form but continued to receive billing statements. I called to see why I was still being charged and was told because I had a bill due when I tried to cancel they could not go through with the cancellation... I paid the "past due balance" and was able to cancel my membership. Incredibly unfortunate that you cannot just cancel and be done-especially if it's a medical reason and something I can't help. I now have 8 class credits that my bloody brain and I cannot use (:

The different monthly workshops allow you to focus a particular piece of equipment perhaps you may not know how to work with.

There are such a large multitude of classes that Yoga8 offers, that I feel like i can learn something new every time I decide to come. I now attend yoga about 4 times a week. The instructors are genius, especially Kim and Angela. Superb stuff. Truly my life has shifted this summer. I highly recommend giving it a try. There is something for everyone at any level. It is a warm, welcoming environment. So clean. Need I say more?

Each instructor I have had at the studio is kind, knowledgeable, and passionate. They take the time to ask how you're doing and adjust the practice as needed to meet your needs and breathe into your tight spaces. The owner is very personable and fun to be around. The community is diverse and is compiled of people from all walks of life. I am looking forward to being part of this community and practicing with these wonderful people in this special place.

I took a basic level class to get back to remembering everything, and I liked the structure--warm up, choreo, and then a couple skills practice. Classes have been pretty chill--not too full but everyone has been friendly and supportive. They seem to offer a good variety of classes each day so I'm excited to take more!

Unfortunately, my experience at ATX Pole Studio felt much more manual and disorganized by comparison. When classes were canceled last minute and it was towards the end of a reoccurring bill month, I had to personally reach out to the owner to have credits added back to my account, which became frustrating over time. It would be so much easier if this process was automated like other studios I've attended. The auto-renewal policy also caught me off guard. I didn't see any mention of the 30-day cancellation notice in my receipts or online account, so I was surprised to be charged again after I emailed to cancel before my next billing date. I was told I'd receive credits to use in the future, which I'm assuming I'll have to chase down owner again to get them added as I currently don't see any credits in my account. To make matters even more unsettling, I was automatically charged again the following month, though the owner did issue a credit right after, but again...why is this so difficult in 2025? In the end, I decided to cancel my membership because the overall experience just didn't feel efficient or easy to manage, especially compared to other studios that are more streamlined. I hope the studio improves its systems, and the owner chooses not to ignore emails when it comes to be billing issues.

First things first it wasn't busy and it was clean. I appreciate everyone cleaning their equipment after they work out. The gym is really nice. I was able to get a good work out with not too many people being there. I went around 9 PM and they close at 11 PM. That's the only thing I like going to 24 hour gyms just because I work nights. They have plenty of equipment and even a cycling class that you can take. I also saw an open dance floor and a personal trainer room as well. I absolutely love the sauna they have one in the women's restroom and men's that was the best part of my work out. It was super relaxing. I would definitely recommend a membership here. I think I'm gonna get one. 10 out of 10

Since GM Ofibio took over the operation at this location, there has been a distinct downturn in…read morecustomer service. He fails to communicate effectively when group classes are being reassigned to different areas (usually smaller than what would be considered safe) and/or cancelled. He has never apologized for the inconvenience that he has imposed on the customers, especially during construction/renovation projects such as for mold removal and repair of water damage. As with other equipment in the main gym, some of the weights in the group exercise room need to be replaced. Also, it is not unusual to find bugs and hair strands all over the floor. Daily cleaning does not appear to be a high priority for Ofibio. Attempts to bring any of this to his attention is met with looks of disdain and tone of disrespect for bothering him. He threatened to close down the classroom altogether. As for the availability of group classes, he has replaced face-to-face classes with videos. An average week may have about 76 classes of which approximately 50 (66%) are on video and 6 will cost extra. This eliminates the need to pay professionals for their time and expertise, but it also eliminates feedback on technique and progress. Unfortunately, the video classes are rarely attended resulting in waste of space, time, utilities and license fees (costs being passed onto the customers). Streaming workout videos in the convenience of your own home may be a viable option. At this point, I can no longer give my recommendation for membership to the Copperas Cove Gold's Gym location. I was happy for four years before Ofibio's take over and will consider returning if he leaves.
