This is the real thing! I see many Venezuelan restaurants trying to adjust to other palates in order to capture more clients and cultures. This most of the times translates into over seasoning dishes and losing the real essence of the Venezuelan cuisine. This restaurant does a superb job at being truthful to the country's flavors, while delivering a high quality "grandma's" food. The fried red snapper is a must, as well as the excellent "pabellón criollo". If going for breakfast, cachapas or empanadas are the way to go. I first tried this place a few weeks ago and I'm SO glad I did. I've gone back several times. Everything I've had here has been so unique and delicious and the portions are HUGE. They bring you these little cheese breads as an appetizer, which are delicious. I have tried the Cuban Congri, the Bandeja Paisa, and the Pabellon. Everything was very good. The restaurant is very pretty with upbeat music playing and a friendly staff. Has an interesting drink menu with things I've never seen before. This restaurant is different from most of the other Latin American restaurants in the Grand Strand in terms of the food they offer. Check it out! read more

we came here to try something new, wow wow. it was so good we had the La Vinotinto micro. which had a mixture of sauces and empanadas etc. I would definitely suggest the Patacon Marucho which had fried plantains roped with season beef. on one and seasoned chicken on the other! so good!! Visited the multi culture restaurant, and we could not complain. The restaurant is very vibrant and great background music. So glad we found this place after an 8 hour drive over to Myrtle Beach. We did takeout and split the ceviche. A little lime-y, but so good(!) and a great break from road trip fried food. My husband had the carne asada and says the combo of the steak and plantains was delicious. I had the sopa de mariscos, which was really yummy and a huge portion (definitely enough for 3 people). I had a nice conversation with one of the staff and every staff member I saw was wearing a mask. Terrible service! The food was horrible made me nauseous! It took us over an hour to receive our food! The waitress had all sorts of excuses and said they had enough staff just "super busy." This place is amazing!! I especially love their arepas and have ordered from them multiple times since I found them a month or two ago. The perico arepas are very tasty. I also love the empanadas. I've had empanadas with beans and cheese (not pictured) and empanadas pabellon. Loved them both. I tried tue cachupa con queso once too - it was a really interesting (and good) dish. The only downside is I ordered jugos de frutas naturales twice and twice didn't receive it (please note that this might be due to the delivery service and not the restaurant - idk. I got my money back from the delivery service for the items so it's all good). All in all, my new favorite restaurant. Love them. read more

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The food selection is incredible and it tastes delicious. The restaurant was clean and very nicely decorated. The customer service is always great. The food is also very affordable. We enjoyed eating the Vinotinto mixto that had a variety of dishes including arepas and empanadas. The sauces were delicious. We also had the mojarra, and it was - fish dish that tasted amazing. We also had fruit juices and they were cold and nice for the summer weather. I will highly recommend this place. read more

When I found this place I couldn't believe it! If you haven't tried Venezuelan or Colombian food, this is your opportunity. Out favorite is the Vinotinto tray. This place was GREAT... I ordered the sampler because it has a little of everything. There is just a couple things I would say that need to get a little better, that would be the reina pepiada, it does need a little more seasoning or salt, I also ordered a chicha(drink) and it was not what I was expecting, it was very thick and needed more flavor and sugar. The handmade juices such as maracuya and guanábana are a little pricy, it was a regular 12oz glass for $4.50. Its located in a relatively empty shopping center, but don't be fooled, this is some of the best dining I've found here in Myrtle Beach. The portions are generous, and the food is really good. We had a ton leftover , and are going to eat it for lunch today. The ceviche was really good. The arepas were tasty, and the patacones were a thing of beauty. I'm looking forward to going back. The food was absolutely fantastic. I got the pepinos and my goodness, the flavor of the meats alongside the toasted bread and fries were spot on and absolutely delicious. However, the problem lies in the wait time, which while I was with 4 others, the wait was close to an hour and there was barely anyone here. The service was good, just some of incidents of confusing drinks or forgetting a plate to bring. Not the best dining while visiting Myrtle Beach. We had seen this restaurant recommended on TikTok and were excited to give it a try. The service started off very nice and drinks came out quick and I had ordered a cachapa which when it came was very rancid and we returned the plate. From there the service changed and became sloppy as dishes were coming out randomly as my father was finishing his meal and I still hadn't gotten mine. in the end the server finally came out and told us the whole Batch of the cachapa was spoiled and told us it will Free of charge which I think is there bare minimum despite several of us trying it and the risk factor is getting sick. read more

A hidden gem in the original downtown of Myrtle Beach. There's nothing tricky or gimmicky about this place. It's just straight-up authentic South American food, as if you were being hosted at someone's house. I had the main Venezuelan dish on the menu (pabellon). My wife tried the bandeja paisa, a Columbian variant. Plantains are wonderful. Beans, rice, beef... you can't go wrong. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is classy casual.
