What is the purpose of setting an appt online if they NEVER EVER respect that and you always have to wait at least an extra 30 mins....like right now. Heaven forbid the employees here stop chatting about lunch and help the people who are here for testing. One Asian lady on the outside of the counter wearing scrubs didn't even step aside for me to register and all they were doing was discussing who was picking up what for lunch. The doors are filthy and soiled. The employees purposefully sit behind glass that is plastered with home made signs til you can barely see them sitting there. Greyhound bus station equivalent to a laboratory if you ask me. This can't be a super place to work but surely it can be operated with more efficient care. read more

Super unprofessional set of staffing! Although the Springfield location has an excellent way of checking in patients, these qualities is not enough to ease their way in for an extra star with customer service for the overall experience. I helped to check in my Dad and Grandpa for English is their second language but speaks and understands completely fine. Receptionist called my Grandpa first, who is hard of hearing, and while I stood beside him and asked with an attitude: "order?" WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN!?!? My grandpa explained who his primary doctor is and what he's there for. She nodded her head and asked again but a little bit more aggressive. She handed us a set of paper and talked under her breath and asked "Debit or credit?" while slamming a piece of paper with the bill summary for his visitation on the counter. We handed her a debit card and she told us "Oh! we don't take any types of payments." She nodded her head while looking at us, acting as if we're stupid! She called my Dad next and I stood beside him as well. She had the same attitude and made my Dad look dumb and acted as if he didn't understand English and made him look like he's verbally enabled. All she did was talk under her damn breath. NO RESPECT AT ALL! She enunciated every damn word to make her point and acted as if we were uneducated. Look, we're easy people to talk to. How disappointing to put my health with these type of people who can't even communicate simple directions and act as if we owe the world to them. read more

First time that I came I wasn't pleased, it took an hour to get me in to take my blood. I didn't want to come back to this specific location, but due to schedule conflicts I had to use it again. I was so pleased this time, it was quick, the front was nice and Manal who took my blood sample has "Angel hands", I didn't feel a single thing!!! read more

The reception staff is totally disengaged and seem to be more interested in what is on their cell phones than in assisting patients. My doctor sent a blood test order to the Lab Corps in Springfield on Sept 17th; I went the the lab the following day and after the receptionist asked me three or four times for my name and then repeatedly asked the name of my doctor she said the order had not been received. I called my doctor's office and was told the order had been sent on the 17th but that they would re-send it. I went back today and the same receptionist was there, along with some disgruntled and rude woman in a lab coat and I was told I had to do my self check-in again. I asked one of the technicians to check and see if my lab order had been received before I went through the self check-in again and she said she had two orders - one dated the 17th and the second on the 18th. The technician who drew my blood was friendly and seemed to care about his job. The receptionist and the lady in the white lab coat should seriously consider looking for a job they are more suited to do. I will not go back to the lab again ... surely Lab Corp has better staffing at other locations. read more

Had to get blood drawn for a couple of tests today and as someone whose petrified of needles the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The process was quick and the pain was minimal, the technician , Berhan, that drew blood from has one of the most gentle hands I barely felt anything. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family if I ever need to do so! read more

Cornelio at Fair Ridge location was amazing. No one can ever seem to find a good vein in either of my arms, and invariably they have to resort to a vein in my hand, which is much more painful. Cornelio initially found a good vein in my left arm, but decided to check to see if he might find a better one in my right arm. One star is for the employees at the front desk. I wish Incould give 5 stars for the young lady who finally drew my blood. My husband never got his blood drawn at all. I instead gave two stars overall. We arrived at our appointment time (3:30 PM). The front desk lady was not happy to be there and verbally short and rude. She was NOT prepared. You would think that when an appointment is made, the front desk would realize that it is because those people who scheduled the appointment are working to THEIR schedule and have all paperwork ready and waiting in the order of appointments. Nope. We go there and she had to ask us for insurance and doctor's orders,then look through a bunch of faxed orders to find ours (one of which was missing-coming from the same doctors). Not likely the doctor's office mistake. We called the doctor's office (clock ticking because we had another appointment at 4:00.) we waited 20 minutes or so after the doctor has re-faxed my husband's order. I said loudly to my husband that we needed to get to our 4:00 dentist appointment. Then they at least gave my paperwork to the young woman in the back ( I wish I had her name-she was wonderful) to draw the blood. In the meantime we found out that their "new" fax machine wasn't working, there was no other way for them to receive the order, and my husband took off of work early for no reason. He gave them his business card and asked for them to call him when the machine was working and they had his faxed order. Almost 24 hours later and it never happened. The remainder of the employees were playing around unprofessionally, hitting each other with things and throwing things at one another. They were not embarrassed or concerned. Lab Corp, you need to clear out the front desk at that location. My daughter is looking for a job like that and would do a much better job. For the young woman who drew my blood and the older lady who was in the back, they were excellent. Get rid of your front desk staff, watch for lazy unproductive people (monitor) and please clean up the joint, it is filthy! read more

They did not even try to help locate paperwork and they did not deliver on their promised timeline of results, which I needed for a specialist appointment. Terrible experience here. My doctor's office sent me here with blood to be tested. The samples were already drawn and the lab orders were included with the samples- all I had to do was drop it off. The drop off took over 30 minutes because nobody in the office knew how to handle it. They yelled at me for not having an appointment because they didn't understand I'd already had the blood drawn. Once we got past that they couldn't find paperwork for me to fill out. Fast forward 10 business days and I've been trying to track down test results. For 2 days nobody has answered the phone when I call. My doctor says the results will come to me since I dropped off, but they're surprised I haven't heard from them yet. And of course they close early-well before I get off work- so I'd have to take a half day to go over and talk in person. If you can avoid this place, do so! read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. If you do your homework to try and limit the impact to your work schedule, you will see the open at 7. No exclusions mentioned. However, if you decide to show up at 7 for a drug screening, you will be rudely informed that drug screening isn't until 8. The first time you would know this is when you see the crappy handmade sign on the door of the clinic. Maybe update the website to reflect reality so you don't waste people's time. Poor service. If their ancient computer takes 20 minutes to boot up (according to their front desk clerk) then WHY would you wait until 7:17 to turn it on when you open at 7:00? You have a waiting room of people that have been fasting and haven't had coffee... We get here early for a reason and it's NOT to wait until 7:37 for them to enter the orders and insurance info into the computer before calling the first person back for their lab work. Also, I don't need the tech to hold my hand for moral support for a blood draw, but I seriously had a bruise at the draw site for a week. Had an appointment on the Friday before Memorial Day for 12:30. Wasn't seen until 1:15. The waiting room was overly crowded. The poor woman who took my blood was the only one working except for one front desk guy (who I learned was a brand new temp). The lady told me that she called her manager for help twice but received no assistance. I felt badly for her. This place is always a disaster, but do NOT go without an appointment. Not recommend! I stood at the desk with no acknowledgement until the person abruptly told me to go register at the kiosk. Now, I'm here for a wellness check so touching a germ ridden kiosk is a nasty thing but the only option. The waiting room was standing only and the service was very slow. I'm currently sitting in the waiting room of the Labcorp to do a gestational diabetes screening test. First of all, what's annoying is that the earliest appointment time they can do for a pregnant person, who is supposed to fast for 2 hours to do this test, is 945am. I was told it's best to not eat prior to the two hours so I didn't. I've been starving since 7am, but I figured I can eat by 1045 and it's not that long of a wait. I get here and was told to wait. They didn't call me until almost 30 mins of waiting. And then the lab technician was getting ready to draw my blood. Fortunately for her and me, this is my third kid and I know the drill. I told her I need a drink first. She didn't know what's going on. If this was my first kid, I would have had my blood drawn before taking the glucose drink. I have a history of anemia and I get really lightheaded if I don't eat for long periods of time. I'm pissed. read more

The staff are cranky and unprofessional, they have one person who will draw blood and the rest of the people at the front desk yapping, yet it still takes them 30 minutes to scan my insurance card. The bathroom has no sink or soap, the wall mounted hand sanitizers are all empty. I arrived 2 hours ago and was told it would be a 45 minute wait, here I am still sitting here. The worst lab experience ever. I had a similar experience of true unprofessionalism. Is no one from corporate reading these reviews and doing anything about it? I made an appointment online but still had to wait 30 minutes and the receptionist didn't even bother to look and see that I made an appointment - she just treated me like a walk in. Staff were busy yapping about donuts. Office manager was trying to train the staff while there were people waiting to be seen (clearly she wasn't training them on customer service). Person drawing my blood called me in with my last name and was conducting some kind of call in speaker phone while drawing my blood. Then last straw for me was when she dropped the tube of drawn blood on the floor and dismissed my concerns when I questioned her about it. This is by far the worst lab in the county. Doesnt matter what time you get there or if you have an appt or not...expect to wait at least 1 hour minimum! Sometimes you can be the only person in the waiting room at noon and still wait over an hour. I'm not sure what all these bad reviews are about! The staff is friendly and man they are efficient! I was in and out in 30 minutes with 4 people ahead of me. I had to drop of urine specimen for drug screen to join a new job. They made me wait 1 hr. 2 ladies were chatting at the front desk and a guy was lounging in office chair. FInally, I got up and asked for help politely because I needed to get back to work and attend to my customers. I said I am here to give just urine sample. The guy said - "It is not just urine sample, I have to get up, find the cup, find the tape,..." I was disgusted. How come these people have jobs when so many people are unemployed. read more
