The process was super quick and before I walked out I asked the receptionist who had done my prints if there was anything else I had to do, and she said no. The next day, I get an email from my employer telling me that I had missed my app. I was confused since I was definitely there, and after a few calls finally connected to a Fieldprint rep. The lady on the line told me that my fingerprints somehow never made it into their system, and that their machine must have been broken. My question is, SO WHERE ARE MY FINGERPRINTS?? I put them on the machine and scanned them, the place had my drivers licence, so where tf did they go??? A machine malfunction is not an okay excuse for me to have to pay a rescheduling fee or be panicking all day trying to reschecule this appointment. Not okay. Get them done somewhere else.

When I walked in, there were 2 people waiting and a guy signing in before me. As soon as I signed in, the 2 patients waiting we're already called in. I had my labs virtually and I was able to send the file to their email. The process was seamless and easy. The place is clean and tidy. The 2 receptionists at the front desk were really helpful, kind, considerate, and accommodating. I've had seen my fair share of dismissive & rude receptionists, that witnessing their interactions with patients is very refreshing. The phlebotomist was also pretty efficient. Overall, the total amount of time I spent from walking in to walking out was about 30mins. Knowing that I was risking it by entering as a walk-in patient, I knew I could walk out if the waiting area looked crowded. Thankfully, that was not the case today!

The front desk was poorly organized even when I was the ONLY one waiting. Even worse was the new phlebotomist who needed guidance LABELING the 14 vials. That should have been my first clue. I tolerated her poor technique until she needed two sticks to draw blood for two vials. At that point I insisted on a different phlebotomist who rapidly drew the remaining vials. I will NEVER return to this lab.

They made some sort of process change from a few weeks ago - which they didn't tell me about - so I couldn't get the blood work done today and have to make another appointment. Their appointment slots don't fit well with a regular work schedule so it will be at least a week before I can get this done. My PCP has an onsite lab, with early morning hours, so I'm going to see if I can the work done there and just share the results with the specialist. I want to avoid Labcorp in the future.
