I went here to get shellac nails since they were closer than my usual nail salon. The nail tech applied 3 layers without letting my nails cure properly and my nails ended up dry on the outside and still wet on the inside. They appeared droopy immediately after. My nails peeled after 3 days. As someone who has gotten shellac for years, i've never had them peel like this. When i went to my usual nail salon to fix the nails that peeled, they let me know that they were done poorly and didn't dry. I would not recommend for shellac. read more

DONT GO HERE THEY HAVE BED BUGS! I have been going here on and off for over 10 years, but consistently been going for the past two years. I always get my full set done by Nina and always call ahead of time to book an appointment but the experience I had yesterday I will never go back as I was sitting in the chair getting my full set done by Nina that took about 2 hours but for the last 30 to 20 minutes I started itching really bad on my buttocks. I didn't know what it was and I kept thinking it would go away. I saw fruit flies flying, and I just assumed maybe it's the fruit flies biting me, but the itching was getting worse and worse at this point Nina was painting my nails I got shellac and you know how you have to put it under the light so I couldn't scratch my buttocks. I was suffering, but I was trying to hold it in because I was embarrassed. How can I say wait let me scratch my butt. So I waited until she was finished as soon as she was done I rushed to the restroom and took my pants off and shook it. I saw one bed bug fall off. I looked inside my pants and saw blood stains from where the bedbug had bitten me. I started examining my buttock and saw large bumps all over my right butt cheek. They itched so bad. at that point I started taking pictures just so I could see more clearly. I was so disgusted. I put on my pants and proceeded to go to the front to inform management. Kim and the other manager was very dismissive and told me no we don't have bedbugs we have leather seats. How can bedbugs get in leather seats? I proceeded to show them the pictures and they dismissed me. They said no they don't have bedbugs. I was so shocked. I am a long time Customer and always pay. It's never been an issue for me. I told them that I'm just letting them know so they can do something about it and that I'm not looking to get free service or anything they continue to dismiss me and say no we don't have bedbugs and walk off. Kim came back was very rude and told me OK. The most we can do is give you 10% 0ff... My full set was only 64 dollars so it went down to 54. They didn't care about the injury I suffered in their business. So I proceeded to pay and told them I will never come back. I've only gone to Susan she mediocre but not great, doesn't speak or understand English very well so can't have a true conversation with her where I can tell her what I want. This weekend I went to her and I felt anger from her like she was mad that I requested her. I asked her if she was ok, she just shook her head! She did a horrible job on my nails, they were way too long and I told her not long bc I work in an office, she didn't care. She also knows I like my nails thin, well she didn't do that either! I have been here around 5 times. I have gotten a mani and pedi. This last time I went for both and both were horrible! The acrylic nails were so thick and a couple of days from getting that done my right toe began to hurt and itch at the same time. Needless to say I got some type of fungus. I believe it's from this place not cleaning and sterilizing their tools properly. I will NEVER go back here again. Be careful. Now I have to go to the Dr to stop the fungus from spreading. You know that feeling when you get a brand new manicure and you can't stop looking at it all the time? Well that is not what happened with my experience here. Although I can't say that I hate this place, I just don't like how my nails turned out. Sure, they were nice and the decor was amazing, but I do not think I will be coming back. I got the basic pedicure and manicure with the add-on shellac option. The manicure was $30 and the pedicure $20. Both were reasonably priced and I have no complaints there. They sit you on a massage chair while they work on your nails. I could see many drinks displayed but I was never offered any.. While my pedicure turned out great, I was very disappointed with my manicure. The scuffings were bad, my pinky nail was bleeding and I didn't realize it until I got home and washed my hands in hot water (ouch). The nail polish near the cuticles were not even and peeling at the edges. Also I asked for the same color on hands and toes... my fingernails are pink and my toenails are purple right now. I originally came in wanting the Organic Lavender Manicure but she encouraged me to add shellac because it lasts longer. At the end when we were almost finished, I noticed she didn't do the lavender treatment so I asked her about it. She said that that'll be more since I'm already paying $30 for the shellac manicure so she didn't do it. For her to ASSUME that I won't spend money on both and didn't do the lavender treatment without telling me was offensive. So I was ready to leave without telling her that I still wanted the lavender. It didn't hit me until I got into my car where it is bright and sunny that I noticed how bad it really was. Got my nails done professionally for the VERY FIRST TIME. I did not have an appointment and the wait wasn't too bad. I got Lynn and she was very gentle with my nails. I got a polish change and I really like how it came out. Polish change is $8-$9 I believe, but I got glitter ombré on top so there was a little extra money added. Overall, my experience was wonderful, I already made an appointment to come back. Update: CAME BACK HERE TO DO MY PROM NAILS!!! I love them! I got a shellac polish change with a design. It was $25 which was SOOOO worth it. Peter did my nails this time and he was very friendly and skillful! I got there around 4:45 and there was a wait-no biggie, I always expect a wait when I go to a nail shop on the weekends-I was greeted warmly, and asked what I wanted done and to sign in. I was seated with my manicurist in about 15-20 minutes. (Cindy) Cindy was amazing!!! I have been trying to go "no-acrylic" for a few years now, but every manicurist I've gone too refuses to do it since i have very thin nails (years and years of acrylic). Not only did Cindy take on the task, but she did an amazing job. She did express concern, with good reason, but she allowed me to make the ultimate decision and provided me with a great shellac manicure. She was very gentle and took her time and I'm very pleased. Since I was a new customer, I got 10% off and received a free gift for texting in! Altogether I got my acrylic/powder set taken off and a shellac manicure for $35. VERY AFFORDABLE. Update: I really believe nail salons forget we come in to be pampered. They move so freakin fast you have no time to enjoy the service and in doing that I've been cut and scraped multiple times. The last time I went in I got a pedi. My nail tech put the hot stone on my foot and I jumped in pain and shock. The stone was so hot I couldn't stand it. The nail tech just laughed and reapplied the stone within 2 minutes I again jumped and told her to stop. It was not relaxing at all. With that being said, I will not be going back. I really really really want to put 5 stars, but today's experience with Hannah sucked. I've been here a few times and I loved every time! This is probably one of the best nail shops in the Houston area! It's nicely decorated and the drink options are superb! Lynn was so far my favorite tech, she was nice, and did a great job. Also the guy at the end of Lynn's row does a great job (can't remember his name). Today although, I had Hannah and I'm not impressed. She was inattentive, I had a soak off, and she left me sitting there for 15 minutes & walked off with her phone. When she finally returned, it was still another 20 minutes of on & off soaking. With all the other techs, they sit there and lift your hand out every few minutes to start filing off the old nails & by 10 minutes your nails are off. And I know a lot about nails, your real nails should not be in acetone for more than 15 minutes total. After she started my nails I noticed she was putting on the powder very lumpy and bulky. Even after filing down and buffing, there are still a lot of streaks and lumps in my nails. And I told her I don't want long, yet I was still charged the extra $5 for long. This has the be the cutest nail shop my ten toes have stepped into! I received their citrus scrub pedicure ($32, with their promo, $25) and was walking on cloud 9 afterwards. The ladies here did a darn good job, my tech was a lady by the name of Janna. They do offer complimentary drinks and their selection varies from wines, margaritas, even clear or brown. Unfortunately, the do not take AMEX, they are still in the works making a name for them self so them not having a sign was understandable. I've been coming here for years. Absolutely love Hanh and Victoria. I will say I do hate their policy when it comes to fixing a person's nails. While Hanh was on maternity leave, I tried using another tech (Lynn) and it was an absolute disaster. Lynn does rush work. I'd get my nails done on a Saturday and two would be missing by Monday. I didn't complain until after it happened 3 times. When I asked management to have my nails fixed free of charge, they told me I had to come back within a couple of days. Well I work until 7pm most days during the week so it was hard for me to go back within a couple of days. Anyways, I ended up going to a new shop until my girl Hanh came back. Got a full set which was ok. The lady was annoyed that I wanted short almond nails. She said she couldn't do it bc of how small my nail bed was. I've been to places who have done it before. So she ended up just doing it round shape which was annoying. I got the #2 pedicure which was done so horribly. She barely took of the dead skin off my feet and big toe. It looked like nothing was done. I felt like my feet looked exactly the same as I came in. I got shellac and it was all lumpy and she left big gaps. Just the worst pedicure I have ever gotten Liz oh and towards the end of it she used a nail filer on the heel of my feet. Like what?!
