While the job was a large one, he provided initial estimates that proved to be accurate. The work included painting, carpeting, counter-top refinishing, some electrical, some plumbing, replacing a fence, replacing broken windows, hardwood flooring repair, drywall and plaster, and other small things that I'm probably forgetting. My family and I called for a handyman to come fix our kitchen sink and regroup our faucets…read more Southbay handyman sent a guy over the next day, the guy seemed like he worked his butt off but unfortunately he caused more problems than he fixed. The guy did end up fixing the sink but the reverse osmosis system (our fresh water) located next to the sink stopped working. It worked. Fine before the guy came to fix the sink. Another thing was that the dishwasher stopped working and lastly the new grout is very rough and has holes/ gaps in it allowing for water to fit between the cracks. We called back to try and get someone back out to fix the problem and they sent 2 guys over a few days later but they both failed to fix the problems, well they fixed the dishwasher at least. My family, nor I, would not recommend this repair service to anyone. I advise using any of the other handymen Yelp has to offer

I can't express how lucky my husband and I feel about finding Blayne. Well Blayne surprised us even though he got great reviews because so did our architect. We had a few sliding screen doors that had become non functioning and Blayne came our within a day to check it out and then he gave a very thorough assessment. The problem with Two of the four screens had to do with the frame being uneven and he asked if it would be ok to come back in a few days after he had a chance to contemplate different solutions. When he did, he laid out the options and the pros and cons of them and he really did think through the situation as if our house was his house if you know what I mean. We trusted him to go ahead with the work and a few of the consequences did happen but he was very honest and even took photos to send them to us so that we could decide how we wanted to deal with it. It is important to mention that we discussed a budget upfront and he stuck to it and we feel it wa s a terrific value for the great service and expertise he provided, Blayne instill confidence and trust and he does great work at a price that is very reasonable.
