This is a solid pet store. They have a good selection of items for a wide variety of animals…read more They also have a great fish and reptile department. I was able to find many of the things that I use with my cat; however, comparing the prices here with what I can get from other places in the area show that Petco is much more expensive. And right now, money is too tight to be willing to pay more for the same canned cat food or litter. So, while I enjoy looking at the fish and lizards, I'm going to have to stick with the other stores since they are cheaper.

I was told from a friend of mine who used to work at a Petco to ask for a "New puppy" coupons at front desk. My husband and I came in on Sunday afternoon, and person named "Charlie" on name tag, was at front desk. They were already not happy when I approached. I asked for the book, and they got even more of an attitude, and called on walkie talkie asking about it. Asked young guy with short hair (sorry, no name tag), and he did not know. I also inquired, as I did not see carts. She huffed, walked out of cash register area, and walked into door way and looked to the right. They were there, but only a couple. I apoligized for not seeing them. They just rolled their eyes at me. By the time we came back to the counter, the manager was there, and explained to the cashier, that they only had a couple of these books left, and "don't just hand them out to anybody unless they ask for them". I was standing there. I said "I asked for one". She handed me the booklet. I looked thru the book, and really there was not anything we used. The carts are really small (Need to be bigger for large dog food and such). We had to get a crate and dog bed for crate, and had to thrown it on top of cart. We got a container to hold food, and had to get another cart. We looked around at treats, and very slim pickings, same for harnesses. And, the place was small and dingy. I went up to counter, and handed book back since we did not use it. The young man with short black hair (again, no name tag) was nicer then the other person, but not that bright. I wanted to join the membership club. He asked for first name. I said "Christina, with a Ch" (*as I know there is many spellings of my first name). He looked at me dumbfounded, and said, "Sorry, can you spell the whole name for me?" I did, and spelled out my last name. When it came up on screen for email (which has my name in it), he had "Christine". So had to have to have him correct it again. He was very slow scanning items. People now behind us were sighing. We left, and don't think we will be back. Sorry.

What an Amazing Store with Such Wonderful Employees !! Since the summer heat has hit our area I…read morethought I might try out this Unique little Pet Store and check out their 'socks for pups' department ! They have a great Assortment and Sarah was So Helpful ! She let me try on a Few of their Selections and We fell In Love with the 'Mary Jane' booties, Ssoooo Cute for my Little Poodle I purchased them from Brian at the counter, and Again such a welcoming and friendly man ! They both told me if there was any problem I could exchange or return them, which made me feel grateful ! Well I placed the socks on my little girl to protect her paws from the Scorching Pavement and we were on our way to another shop. I stopped nearby to pick up something and noticed that my pups Back sock was missing I checked all through my car and yet nothing ! I thought I would take a chance and drive back to the Healthy Pet Store and there it was sitting on the sidewalk ! They were closed by the time I returned so I waited a few days thinking it might have been me who placed the socks on her foot incorrectly, but No, They were a little too big for her tiny Feet ! Bella and I returned and met Colin at the Cash Register, again a Very welcoming young man. I explained the situation to him and he told me he had an XXS Size at another location and would have them sent over ! He would call me when they arrived ! Sure enough he left a Voicemail and I Dropped back in. I met another young girl with an Unusual Name who assisted me immediately, Also So Very Nice ! We tried them on Immediately and the XXS Socks Fit Perfectly !! What a Great Experience at this store ! I Highly Recommend stopping in this location to meet such friendly employees and an assortment of great Products for your Pets !! I know I'll be back !

They even set me up with a yearly membership and bulk discount for the food. The litter they use in the scoopable litter bin (shown in my pics) is great. It's unscented, low dust, and relatively inexpensive. Adam and Courtney helped to set us up. They were very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and courteous throughout the process. They also made it very easy. I think you can set this up via their website, too. Though, you won't be able to pet their kittens that way. You can choose the day of the month you want your items delivered on. Ditch your Amazon overlord and Subscribe and Save with a local company. They have a huge kitty room with a big cat tree, shelves, and lots of space for your future kitten to play and move around in. This is their adoption room. I can't recommend Tomlinson's enough!

I believe this "rescue" is a scam. I have not been able to find any indication that they have…read moreadopted any dogs out. The amount of money they claim to have spent getting one of their dogs back from it's owner is inconsistently varies quite a bit. They have quite a few fundraising pages and are quick to pepper the internet with requests for donations. Their interaction with me was extremely suspect. I saw their dog, Nolan, on petfinder. When I emailed to ask about his availability, heartworm status and age, I was told he has to be adopted with their dog named, Lulu and I did not receive an answer about his current HW status. I asked for more information about Lulu. I found out that both dogs had been heartworm +, but Cindy Marabito wouldn't tell me if they had their vaccinations or had been cleared by a vet after their "holistic heartworm treatment." There was or is some kind of messy legal/custody battle over Lulu. Cindy wouldn't tell me if it had been sorted out. I had to ask: 4 times if they were fixed. I never got an answer, but Lulu's petfinder page now says she is spayed. 4 times if the legal problems with Lulu's custody were resolved. I still haven't gotten an answer. 3 times if they were now heartworm free. Finally Cindy claimed that Nolan was healed with raw and herbal diet/treatments. So I asked if she had verified with a vet that the treatments were successful. She refused to answer that too. 2 times if they were vaccinated, I never got an answer, but Lulu's petfinder page now says she is UTD on vaccines. Cindy sent this: "Both are raw fed and homeopathically treated, so would need to continue that lifestyle. Nolan was hw positive when we got him and totally cured with herbal..a raw fed dog treated with herbal will not become infected with hw or other parasites or disease..take a look at our website .... Health Page. It's amazing..none of our dogs go to conventional vets or ever get sick, get fleas, cancer, etc." I'm certainly not against raw or herbal, but this all just sounds like a scam or wingnut on the loose.
