They treat our dog as if she is the only dog in the world, and a wonderful one at that! Great selection of foods, treats and toys with no pressure sales. A friend recommended Tomlinson's to us when we had mentioned needing to give our dog a bath. I had seen the store a few times, but had never personally went in until this visit. Little did I know they have this amazing dog washing station! What an awesome service to use! You book a time slot online to bring your pup in (30 minute window for one dog), and the only thing you need to bring is your dog! They seriously have everything else there for you, and the tub is elevated so you don't have to kill your back washing your dog. We're talking towels, brushes, Shampoo & Conditioner, an apron for yourself to keep dry, a blow dryer, and more. I did bring a toothbrush with me to brush my dog's teeth, but other than that we had everything we needed. The best part was that once you're done with everything, Tomlinson's takes care of cleaning up for you-how easy is that! After we were done with the bath, I took my pup to pick out some dog treats. Great selection of healthy snacks, the store was extremely clean, and the staff member working that day couldn't have been nicer-she was very sweet and helped walk us through the dog was station since it was our first time. I have frequented many pet stores in my life, but have never had the experience I did yesterday (8/22/21 @ 3:28 PM) during my very fist visit to the store though I've lived in Leander for three years and approximately three miles from the store. A first time visit anywhere always makes me a little nervous. I opened the door and was instantly greeted by an employee who made me feel welcome. I explained what I needed. Without hesitation, I was taken directly to the isle where the item was located. Then, the employee handed it directly to me. I didn't even have to look for it. Wow‼ That's what I call five star service. At check out, my phone number was entered into their computer system. The employee encouraged me to come again! That I will do!! read more

Convenient, clean, and everything you could possibly want in stock for your pet. Free human and not human snacks on occasion. In all seriousness, folks here are friendly and knowledgeable. Yea, their dog food, snacks, and toys are a tad more expensive but you get what you pay for. Join their club for reduced pricing. And of course, you can bring fido with you as you shop. We love this store and all the people that work there that are so kind and helpful! It is a beautiful store inside with well merchandised and roomy aisle's full of great high quality products for your pet. There's a water fountain type water dish for thirsty dogs available and they are generous with treats to visiting pets. It's in a shopping center full of other convenient services too which is nice. We particularly appreciate their dog washing service for $15. That gets you a clean, enclosed, semi-private room for 30 minutes that's stocked with all the grooming things you'll need. The washing tub is huge and very sturdy with steps and a removable section that makes it easy for your dog to enter/exit. The washing spout arm dispenses water as well as shampoo and conditioner (we love the oatmeal option), which is so helpful, and there is a blow dryer as well that can reach all over the room. There are trash cans, splash aprons for you, and a well-appointed cart full of nice (clean) brushes, treats, cotton balls, towels, and quality sprays, ear/face cleaning products, etc. My only criticism of the room would be that it could use some more ventilation as it can get quite humid and musty in there after giving your pup the full spa treatment. :) We just missed the cut off time for washing on our last visit so yesterday I decided to try a different store that's a bit closer and charges the same price - whoa was that a mistake! That place (Whole Pets Market) was a disaster and we'll never go back. We will gladly drive just a bit further to Tomlinson's for such a great service and experience at a lovely store. read more

These are caring and knowledgeable people. Their products are excellent. Store is super clean. What more could one ask for? Well.....once a month they offer anesthesia free teeth cleaning. I was a little anxious about this but I really did not want my little dog anesthetized and it worked out wonderfully! I also recently learned that Zoe's mobile van is there on the first Friday of each month to do nail trims and dremmels! And.....since I've been purchasing food for a few months now, I joined their club to receive 10% off purchases. Their same day delivery is very convenient when I can't get to the store. They are always punctual and courteous. Dakota is the store manager and he even offered to special order a food for me if I needed it. Outstanding and exceptional service!!! read more

Poor customer service! Wanted to use the bath station for our Great Dane. Someone walked in just before I did to wash their dog. I was told come back in 40 minutes. We came back in 30 minutes and expected a short wait. Only to be told they had someone else come in and is in line for the next wash. Then he further explained they can't reserve it and maybe we misunderstood what he said. No I understood we were next and could come back in 40 minutes like we were told. Apparently I was suppose to know that I had to stay in store to keep my spot on line. Not worth wasting gas, time and money for a bath. read more

What a clean and lovely Tomlinson's Feed store! If you want to take your pets health and care up a few notches this is the place to go. I have cats and no dogs. The cat section is much smaller than the dog section but everything there is top notch. The toy selection may not be as large as Petsmart but they are way higher quality and my cats always prefer them. Now if only I could afford the stylish cat condo by the window! read more

Only the best products, and a knowledgeable, courteous staff who truly understand what customer service is all about. In having no idea what would be best for my furry kiddo, I would be completely confident in going into Tomlinson's, having a conversation with the staff and following exactly what was recommended to me. Knowledge and customer service is a lost art form in the consumer world, but not with Tomlinson's. Their customer service is on point - both in store and via email for those of us with auto-ship orders. They'll deliver same day, on many occasions! Beware: the shelf price tags are their "membership" prices, which will cost you $10/annual, and they'll want your phone number to populate their marketing database. Prepare to pay much higher prices at the cash register if you don't submit to paid membership. Great store! Before COVID-19, always a consistent great experience in store, excellent customer service and easy shopping trip. Now we mostly use delivery and it's been a great option. Always on time, with delivery notifications when they are on their way. So easy to set up ordering and add/edit items. We, meaning my husband, myself, and our 5 month old Lab, absolutely love this store. It has been a lifesaver in providing healthy organic items our pup can chew on to his heart's content. They also have a wide selection of dog food and kibble, and fun treats like ice cream cone-shaped "cookies". The staff cannot be more helpful--on a recent trip, one noticed that the little ring holding on our puppy's id was loose, and provided one free of charge so that he wouldn't risk losing it. They also have a convenient pet-washing station with the best-smelling shampoo! Thanks for being such a great resource for our family! read more
