Showed up on the day to rent bikes and they allowed us to try a few before deciding. The bikes could be in better condition, most of the fleet were showing significant wear. One of our e-bikes had low battery charge and even though someone was able to bike out to where we were to delivery another battery, the replacement was also low and wouldn't be enough for the time we rented. We also lost time waiting for the other battery. However, kudos to the staff and owner because they made it right for us when we returned the bikes. Spot has good staff and a great location. Refreshing the bikes with newer models would bump it to 5 stars.

I recently took the Park Tool class with Cory, and now I have a better understanding of what a bike mechanic legend is. His extensive bicycle knowledge was very apparent as soon as I saw him tinkering with bikes or my bike for that matter. I am extremely grateful that I didn't procrastinate or pass on taking the course. It was a fantastic experience and I was able to swap and upgrade parts on my bike "myself"--with Cory's support. I am honored I was able to do this with assistance from Cory. Since then, I have decided that, as long as circumstances allow, I will always take my bikes to their shop for servicing. Complete indifference to a problem he helped create…read more My experience similar to many below. Called twice before I went to see if he could help me with a bad tube in my fat tire bike. No one answered. When we bought a few hundred dollars of accessories from him for our e bikes he expressed his disdain for fat tire bikes. Since I could get to Kevin's shop with my slow leak I went there. He was just sitting staring at a computer screen. He looked at my bike, made it clear he didn't like it, and said he would check the valve stem. In the process he greatly worsened the crack and the tire lost all air. He attempted to fill it but it wouldn't accept any air. Left with the prospect of pushing my bike home I asked him if he would order the tube (said he doesn't carry fat tire tubes). He said he didn't want to and if he did, it would be at least a week and a half to get to fixing a flat tire. Should he have said if he touched the tube it could lose all the air and be unrideable, I think so. Since he was trying to help me am I ok with what happened. Yes. Not at all ok with him watching me push my bike up the steep hill behind his shop after he let the air out of the tire. This to a local who has spent a few hundred dollars there.

Thank you Efficient plumbing yet again for your service and timely installation. When we called my husband scheduled the plumbers Steve and Hector to come out the following day. They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! They are the best plumbers and I will continue working with them on any future projects or improvements that we may need.

This is any homeowners nightmare and I called Efficient Plumbing right away. We have used them for many years and sadly this wasn't our first water leak. Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! There are many many plumbers in our area but after years of consistent quality workmanship and customer service, I only use and trust Efficient Plumbing.

The entire system indeed, needed replacement! Capistrano Air came in at an honest quote and it was quite a bit less than a prior company's estimate, yet Capo. Air would be providing us with top-of-the- line equipment! Installation was scheduled and took place in less than a week. Shane and his crew were punctual, immediately set to work on removing the old, large heating system and outdoor unit, and worked tirelessly all day! We were constantly informed of each step - where the routing of tubing within the garage would be placed with attachment to the outside unit, and where its' location had to be, etc.. At completion, the system was tested, along with our Venstar thermostat - all functioned perfectly, and the property was left in impeccable condition! We HIGHLY recommend Capistrano Air for their honesty, pricing, punctuality and communication. Many thanks to Matt and Shane for having such a great company and crew!!

He talks a lot about how mold is everywhere and grid to minimize because I think he's used to all the crazy worries we all have - so understand that's where he's coming from when he almost excessively tried to calm your fears. We had a substantial roof leak with mold in walls - all handled very well and professionally and nowhere nearly as expensive as it could have been. You won't regret calling him. Genuine good person. Hope he doesn't change.

Wow...this response shows me exactly what you are all about. The only timely response from you during this was the day we picked the bike up. You immediately called to ask me to change the review. Yes, I said I would change it. Life happens...I have young kids being homeschooled now...work, etc. I forgot to update it. Give me a courtesy call and ask me to update the review! I was the one having to call Specialized and work through their customer service for hours trying to find a bike. The couple times I called the shop you were out on a ride and I didn't hear back. "Dug deep"?!?! Yes, you ended up getting us the bike 10 days later. I told you mistakes happen when we went to get the bike...your response after the mistake is what bums me out. This response from you solidified how I feel about shopping at your shop again. You charged full price and didn't offer any genuine apology. Maybe I misread it but you don't seem sincere. read more

These guys are great! Very helpful and knowledgeable. I moved to town one year ago and need advice on places to ride. The owner of the shop is a very cool guy and spent lots of time explaining to me where i should ride. I have since placed special orders with them and they always follow up and get the job done. The mechanic is the best in the biz, however i must admit I was a bit scared as I first met Christian. He now hugs me every time I come in. One of the roughest looking sensitive guys I have ever met. I highly recommend this shop for serious racers to beginners, and everyone in between. They also rent awesome road and mountain bikes at reasonable prices. read more

I rented a road bike for one day and the bike and service were so incredible I came back the next day. The customer service is world-class. They trusted me with a flawless titanium bike that was faster than me. On the second day I felt cared for when Patrick asked what kind of ride and how long I wanted to ride. He then took the time to dial a route into Strava and I'm smiling again as I think about all the great sights I saw. I'm from MN and the route up the PCH is a lifelong memory thanks to LBC. The entire team at the shop is awesome. They have been providing me excellent service for many years. My most recent experience was championed by Ryan who spent extensive time finding a solution to my rear wheel issue. He always followed up as promised even if it was time for him to head home for the evening. Ryan and the rest of the guys got me back on my bike much sooner than I anticipated. Great atmosphere in the shop and surrounding area (ocean view from their sidewalk!!). I will always use this shop....thank you!!! read more

I wish I could give this junk shop 0 stars. Buyer beware! This shop is selling horrible bikes- PLUS the owner is a real a**hole. The guys who work there are great, but Patrick the owner (I think that's his name- short little Rastafarian weirdo) is a real jerk of a guy. He treated us so poorly. He must have been stoned. No way to treat locals. Word spreads around, and I'll happily tell everyone to rent their bikes and get their bikes repaired elsewhere. read more

What a great shop, I pre-booked an E Mountain Bike from the UK for my trip to Laguna beach in January. All went smoothly and the staff were amazing. I lost my phone on my ride and the shop did everything they could to help me find it finally myself and Luke cycled out and Luke found the phone on a trail in the middle of nowhere!! They guys are super friendly and not only sorted me with a great bike rental, they suggested a great ride and even lent me one of their own Garmins with the route preloaded to navigate with. I was mid ride when my saddle came loose and I didn't have an allen wrench, so I stopped at the nearest bike shop which happened to be Laguna Beach Cyclery to borrow an allen wrench. Patrick was extremely helpful letting me borrow his tools and even gave me an allen wrench set when they didn't have the correct one I wanted to purchase. Reasonable pricing, great service, very welcoming and friendly staff (chatting with Terry? was a hoot) - even hooked me up with a free water bottle as I forgot mine. We rented mountain bikes from the guys who were so helpful and courteous before riding to El Moro Canyon - Crystal Cove State Park where we enjoyed the trails.
