Had the fabulous Lake Park Burger here. The burger came fully dressed, I subbed out the raclette for cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and aioli. I think they may have griddled the bun using aioli. A great spot with delicious cocktails and a TON of patio seating. Staff is super friendly, wearing masks, and disinfecting tables between each group! The rotisserie chicken was unreal- we got it on our salad. Other favorites of the group were the brussel sprouts, and the burger. The fish sandwich was not our favorite, would definitely skip next time, although the fish and chips were pretty good and not as heavy fry as some other places are which we liked. One of the first places we ate coming out of quarantine. The staff was extremely attentive and safe cleaning down all surfaces and wearing masks and gloves. Open air seating felt extremely safe. Came here on a Thursday afternoon and this place was packed. It is a type of place where you go to the window and order your food and then sit down and the waiters walking around bring you the food. The service is very prompt and the servers are attentive and if you need anything, anyone walking past is always ready to help. The waiters kept making sure our drinks were filled which was nice since it's not a typical restaurant where you have just 1 server. As for the important part, is the food good? Yes! Everything was super fresh and yummy. My sister and I have never been here and so many things on the menu caught our eye. We decided to spilt the western burger and the California panini. Both were fresh and yummy. The fries were also delicious. We also got a side salad, I can't remember what the dressing was but it was different but still good. This review is based upon one meal, the Lake Park hamburger. I think it is better than Brooks, and almost as good as Jimmy P's. Most of the tables are outside, although that shouldn't be a problem now that the summer is over. This newcomer is a welcome addition to Naples. It's not your typical diner in that the menu isn't that extensive nor do they offer a lot of breakfast items. But what they do offer is fresh and delicious. You order at the window, take a number and the waitstaff bring you you food. We went for brunch. I had the quinoa scramble which also had eggs, spinach and mushrooms. It was moist and plentiful. So much so that I couldn't even finish it! Maybe it's enough for two. I came to Lake Park diner with my family. I was blown away. Great customer service & very clean. The manager Romel was walking around talking to customers asking for refills and cleaning the tables. My wife ordered a white sangria and she said it was one of the best she's ever had. We will definitely be coming back and I'll be telling my friends and family about this place. Cute little diner. I went for their Monday shake specials and kept going back. Modern designs order at counter and they bring food to you. Service was pleasant and now I keep coming back for their vanilla shake (make it boozy) with Baileys Irish cream. Thank me later. I'd recommend this place for families even with a larger group they offer plenty of space, indoor and outdoor. Parking could be tricky during the Naples high season due to their small lot but I usually take my shake to go so I use their 15 mins to go parking. No issues so far. Interesting note: as a rude customer, butted in front of everyone in line to complain about something, and swore at one of the employees, Connor, the manager, stepped in to support his employee and asked the customer to leave. Great place to dine when the weather is beautiful. Parking is limited. Walk up to order but they bring your food to you. Some would say portions are kinda small but I thought it was just right. Everyone at the table ordered something different and were all satisfied. What we ordered: tacos, fish & chips, salmon, burgers, roasted brussel sprouts (more like flash fried, not roasted), milk shakes. The first day we had breakfast and the next we returned for shakes (which happened to be half priced and it happened to be my birthday ) We ordered the kids French toast sticks, 2 egg breakfast and avocado toast with added eggs. The next night we ordered lettuce wraps, chicken noodle soup, side of Brussels sprouts, Nutella shake, s'mores shake, strawberry shake, and a root beer float. Our only complaint was the the side of Brussels sprouts were bland and the texture was slightly off, like maybe they needed just another 2-3 minutes to soften the core a tiny bit. First, all the times we've been to LPD, we've enjoyed the food and ambiance. It has been a favorite spot when company visits from out of town. "Seinfeld" introduced the phrase "NO SOUP FOR YOU!" to American culture, and LPD has now introduced a similar treatment to Naples dining culture. For the prices charged by LPD, the attitudes of the floor managers (FM) are unacceptably rude. LPD has no posted policy against a member of the dining party sitting at a table while the others put in the order. The first you learn of this unstated policy is an FM requiring the person to leave the table. A server had permitted 2 members of our party of 8 to sit at one of the two large tables. Soon thereafter, FM #1 removed them. Of course, they said the server had permitted them to sit at the table. The immediate retort by FM #1 was to demand the name of the server and state only he had authority as the FM. NO OUTSIDE TABLE FOR YOU! We witnessed them remove a young lady from one large table and a father and children from the same large table. The other problem with LPD is that the FMs are inconsistent in their table permissions. Since our party of 8 no longer had a large table available, we asked to be seated at two close tables for 4. NO TABLES TOGETHER FOR YOU! Right after we sat down at separate tables, a nearby table cleared, allowing us to sit near each other. FM #2 rushed over to object to us moving closer together because that table "had been promised to a couple." NO PROMISES FOR YOU! LPD applies this unwritten rule harshly to some but not to all. LPD should state this "No Savies" rule clearly and visibly. Should you choose casual dining at LPD, beware. Food = 4 stars Service = 1 star Since service is king, aggregate score is 2 stars. read more
