We decided to replace both our AC system and gas furnace (after the furnace died on the morning of the first blizzard!) with new American Standard units, and Gill gave us a very fair and reasonable price. While Warrior may not have had "7 trucks ready to finish the job in one day" like some of the larger companies promised, Gill and his team focused on doing the work the right way -- with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. What really stood out was the customer service. Gill even helped us install and set up a new smart thermostat I had purchased myself. It's rare these days to find contractors who are both skilled and genuinely trustworthy. We'll absolutely be calling Gill again for any future HVAC needs, and we highly recommend Warrior Heating and Cooling!

Dan and Sam have been stand-out with the depth of their answers to my questions. I appreciate that immensely as a demonstration of how much they care about the subject matter, and how much they care about ensuring I'm properly informed on what is happening. Sam and his crew were out all day yesterday dismantling the old boiler and installing the new one. They were friendly and engaged the whole time letting me observe the process. Sam called me over throughout to show me up close what had corroded in my old boiler, and to explain to me how it happened. He did the same during install of the new boiler to demonstrate all the critical aspects for maintenance--including letting me unscrew and rescrew a piece to practice for future cleaning. The new boiler is running smoothly right now. I feel like I understand its pieces. Sam even took an interest in diagnosing why my bathroom heating panel (which has never worked) wasn't heating. He cleaned out its vent and it has heat now. My cat is very happy to be warm right now. From the way Sam and his crew talked through all the aspects of the work they were doing, it was clear they take pride in the quality of the work. This wasn't just a job to get over and done with. And what's more, they did it for $2k cheaper than my competing quote. Max Heating and Cooling will be the first people I call for any plumbing projects I have going forward.

Welter is the Man!…read more I have an aging Buderus GB142 condensing boiler that has been having those old age boiler things happening. I had been using a local service with a monthly support agreement but recent experiences with under trained techs led me to search for someone more familiar with my boiler. After having been quoted $4,900 to repair my boiler for error codes and inaccurate pressure readings from Company A, I contacted Welter and he came in and assessed a few problems. The issues were addressed efficiently, parts were replaced, connections were repaired the boiler was deemed ready for service and the total bill amounted to less than 20% of Company A. Long story short, Welter is an experienced plumber, heating pro, with a positive attitude and excellent troubleshooting skills. Highly Recommend Welter for any heating / hot water issues.

Endless Energy installed a Fujitsu heat pump system in my home in October 2022 through the Mass…read moreSave program, and it has never worked properly since day one. From the start, the system constantly shut down and threw error codes. We were actually told by their team that shutting off power to our entire house for 30+ minutes to reset the system was an acceptable solution--something we had to do multiple times per week (and sometimes multiple times per day). That alone should have been a huge red flag. Winters were even worse. We haven't been able to use it at all during the coldest months and were told that just happens in New England winters. We've been forced to rely heavily on expensive oil heat while still paying for this system. They attempted a few fixes over the first couple years, including installing a surge protector, but nothing ever solved the issue. The system continued to fail repeatedly and has now been completely unusable since December 2025. We recently had an independent electrician evaluate it, working directly with Fujitsu, and the system now needs a new compressor and control board. Even more concerning, it appears likely that the root issue may stem from the original installation or wiring--something that was questionable from the start. The installers often seemed inexperienced and had to call others for guidance several times during the install. To make matters worse, Endless Energy now wants to charge us just to come out and diagnose a system they installed that has never worked correctly. They are apparently under new ownership with significant staff turnover, and at this point have been completely unwilling to take responsibility or meaningfully help resolve the situation. After 3+ years of issues, missed work for service calls, ongoing loan payments, and thousands spent on backup heating, I have zero confidence in their ability to fix this. I would strongly caution anyone considering using Endless Energy.

Within 8 months, it stopped working properly and was only blowing room-temperature air in both heat and AC. A technician came out, diagnosed it as low refrigerant, and repaired and recharged the system under warranty. Now, just a couple of years later, I'm experiencing the exact same issue again. After testing, they confirmed it's once again low on refrigerant--but this time I was quoted $2,500 for repairs because the 1-year labor warranty has expired. I declined the repair and was told a manager would follow up, but I never received a call. This appears to be an installation issue that was never fully resolved--just temporarily fixed with a recharge the first time. Unfortunately, I had referred Endless Energy to several others after the initial install. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend them. I would suggest finding a company that stands behind their work and properly resolves issues the first time.
