Lalo's bakery is exceptionally delicious. Their pan dulce is soft and spongy. The filled bolios are better than most bakeries. I was a big fan of El Gallo in ELA but in my opinion, over the years it has lost its appeal. Best to arrive early to indulge in the fresh pan dulce. read more

Fyi, we both got vaccinated twice so we're all good to hang out according to CDC guidelines. Since we don't frequent this area often, we decided to order whatever we were familiar with and whatever caught our eyes...and noses. My friend spoke Spanish so she ordered for the both of us. Where have I been!?!? Not at this place. What a hidden gem. So delicious! All the favorites pan dulce treats here. The chocolate conchas actually taste chocolatey. All the bread is super fresh. I picked up a few pineapple empanadas and they were still warm. It's no joke here. This is my new go to. La Moderna has to get it together. It gets pretty busy here on Saturday morning with lines but we'll worth the wait. My only criticism is they are closed on Sundays read more

One they are not all that they probably put half not all the teaspoon of what ever you ordered and it's all bread I bought 4 of them 2 of each the price was $10.25 plus a charge of 75 cents for using my credit card I thought they were a bit pricey and not as tasty as I was told was disappointed wasn't for me you might like it you would have to stop in and try it for your own opinion. read more
