We've been wanting to go here for a very long time. We had a date night and we were finally able to go. It did not disappoint. We started with the green beans and shrimp ceviche which were SO delicious. The green beans are so addicting that we almost ordered a second round. The ceviche was so good too. It was a nice change to have the Thai flavors come through with the fish sauce and extra spice. We will be back just for these 2 dishes. We also got the curry noodles with braised beef. It was so good too. So much that wifey ordered a side of rice so she could eat it with the curry sauce. The taro rolls are a good closer. We wanted a 2nd round of drinks so we needed something light to munch on. It is served with a plum sauce so it was a good sweet/savory close to the meal. The drinks were also super delicious. What an absolutely fantastic and cute place to grab some tasty Thai food! The items on the menu seemed like your typical Thai restaurant menu, but they put their own twist on it! The restaurant itself was decorated beautifully inside! The ambiance was great, it wasn't busy when we went late at night, and the staff was really great. The chicken pad see ew was my favorite noodle dish, great flavors. The fried banana dessert was great, and easily shareable. Knockin another one off the restaurant bucket list. I have wanted to try Lamaii since it opened and finally got the chance today for a late lunch. Not much biz at 1:30 so don't understand why when I called they had me set a res cause when I got there there were only two other tables seated. Other than that the booth right next to the piano the seat facing it is surely in need of a new cushion. Like most Thail restaurants it has nice decor inside. So on from there we started with a couple of cocktails and both had a "peach out" that was very good. We started with wings and mini eggrolls for appetizers. For our entrees we both got pad Thai ( one with prawns and one with pork). At this point I asked for the 4 pots and the waitress said hot sauce? Yes I replied. What she brought over was three jars 1 chili paste 2 ground red pepper flake and 1 sliced jalapeños in juice but there was not a slice Thai chili pot/jar that is usually served with these three. The pad Thai was great like the appetizers and the waitress was on point. I would like to come back some time for dinner especially if they have someone playing dinner music on the piano. I have come to Lamaii 2645 St Rose Pkwy, Unit 150, Henderson, NV 89052, twice already. If you like Thai food this is the restaurant for you. It is kept very clean with great, friendly servers. It is primarily set up for adults as they serve from a huge selection of wines. My first visit, I had pad thai, which was the best I've had in a long time. This visit pad sen lobster, crab fried rice, roasted eggplant with red peppers was my selection. Absolutely fantastic. The roasted egg plant and crab fried rice was really excellent and the pad sen lobster did not disappoint. For dessert, there was paratha puff (Similar to fried banana-only better.) They play soft recorded music while you dine, which makes your dinner experience more enjoyable. The staff works as a team, always checking on the customers. If you need something, just ask. I have never visited this Thai restaurant before but wanted to try something on this end of town. This site is located in a small strip mall with nothing but restaurants. As you walk inside, you are greeted by a displayed of two walls of wine bottles . . . always a good sign. This place is clean and quiet enough to hold personal conversations. Beautifully decorated. The food was very tasty. I tried the taro crispy roll which were five fried spring roll"ish" filled with taro. Good but I could hardly taste the taro. With that said, anything fried in spring roll wrappers works for me. I also had chicken pad see ew and it was delicious. They offer an extensive wine list which is more extensive than the food menu. Very little offerings for vegetarians or vegans. Great service and I would recommend. read more

Lamaii is an upscale Thai restaurant, and they opened one in Henderson. I personally feel the prices were pretty pricey because you can buy comparable food at other Thai restaurants for cheaper. FOOD 3.5/5: -Steak tartare: I've tried French tartare, but I wanted to see how this tasted like. I personally don't like this tartare, because the Thai spices/seasonings are so different. Prob skip this next time. -Salmon noir: love the flavors for this, def get this appetizer. -Papaya salad: delicious -Kao Soi: I was actually pretty disappointed in this, and this was the dish I was the most excited about. First time here just so you know... Food: the food is good. I would say it's a bit of Asian fusion/Pan Asian Cuisine. In the "Small Plate" area we ordered the Salmon Noir, it was drizzled with Thai dressing, topped with crispy garlic. Another dish worth mentioning was the Goong Ceviche - shrimp, jicama, shallot, with spicy lime sauce. The presentation of the food was just so pretty. I always love Thai tea and Thai coffee (they taste so good) - I recommend it 100 percent. Service was great! We were seated right away, no long wait, order taken, and food came fast as well. They get down to business, no time for chatter :). They keep your water filled. Ambiance: soon as you walk in, you would be wowed. From the furniture, to the light fixtures to dinner plate settings. Fantastic value for lunch! I first learned about Lamaii when it came across my feed on IG. Today I finally had the opportunity to visit for lunch and I'm so glad I did! I was drawn to the $15 lunch menu as I had previously viewed online. I chose the Ginger Beef and the serving was plenty. Each lunch menu item comes with two taro rolls and the soup of the day. Today, the soup was Tom Kha and it was delicious! The perfect serving to accompany a lunch meal but not leave you overstuffed trying to finish it all. The ginger beef dish contained lots of veggies and fine strips of ginger throughout. I really enjoyed how much sauce the such can with, it helped to coat the beef and veggies over the plain rice. I went here for lunch because of the good food and service I have experienced before during dinner and lunch services. I walked in, the place was fairly empty with what looked like a few customers and a group (staff most likely) near the kitchen door at one of the tables having a discussion (didn't know if they were eating). I was seated quickly and asked if I wanted water. I opted for some green tea. The server left me to study the menus. There were two menus, which I read, slowly, about three or four times, front to back, just to pass the time since I had figured out what I wanted after the first pass. I kept looking around for someone to take my order. I tried to flag the bartender but at that time someone came in and sat at the bar and he immediately started to help her, chatting intently. Came here at 12:10pm on 9/19/23 and the restaurant was still closed. There was 2 parties ahead of us also waiting outside for the restaurant to open. To make matters worse, once someone finally came to open the restaurant at 12:18pm, the waiter came and took some party's order before ours even though we were seated first. I really wanted to like this place since it's been on my bookmarks for a while, but first impressions already put me in a bad mood before we even got our food. anyways food was really good but extremely small portioned. The crispy prawns look big, but half of it is actually just shrimp skin that is fried to add fluff. Me and another person are up the pad Thai except we're still hungry afterwards and did not want to place another order after the start of our dine in. I would say not enough to share for two, more like individual sizes. Finally got to try it myself, but after this experience I'm either going to avoid going here and find another Thai restaurant close by. read more

I'm from LA- have had plenty of great Thai food, love Anajak. I just moved to Vegas and have been searching for my new Thai spot and think I found it. Ordered the tom kha, crispy duck Panang, steak pad kee mao, and gai him (chicken stir fry). Tom kha was super flavorful but really beautifully balanced. Gai him is a super underrated Thai take on cashew chicken but far better in my opinion (my fave dish of the night). My husband prefers bold over subtle flavor so pad kee mao and Panang were his 2 faves in that category. Most reviews obsess over the crispy duck dishes (and it's good) but still explore the rest of the menu. Will definitely be back here often. 5 stars. read more

Last night was our first time dining at this Lamaii location. We really love that this is considerably closer to our home! Just like the original, the interior is carefully decorated with warm woods and gold accents making it perfect for a date night or a celebratory meal. Since Lamaii is known for their extensive wine offerings, this location greets you with 2 large glass cases of beautiful wine bottles available to drink. The service & food quality is absolutely fantastic. I love their Pad See Aew with chicken so much that it's my go-to dish. We also love starting with an order of the taro crispy rolls which are so good we could eat 100 of them haha I'd give this location 5 stars, but it's a big turnoff for me when tables are suuuuper close together. If I'm on a date with my husband, I'd like to enjoy a meal with just him and not have to talk over the table that's only about 8" away from us (not to mention how awkward it is for everyone when people have to squeeze through the narrow opening between tables - I don't like my butt grazing the dishes of the people next to us, nor do I like when I'm the one being booty smacked in the arm from someone squeezing through to the table next to us). Had this restaurant bookmarked for some time now and always forget to come here. We were in the area around lunchtime and had to stop by. I arrived 2 mins before 12pm, when they opened. The door was opened and the one worker asked if we can wait a second while she gets situated. We were seated a few minutes later. No other customer was there on this Friday at noon so we love that it was a nice lunch and the whole place to ourselves. Awesome looking restaurant. I would come back here for dinner, waitress said it's busy so reservation is needed. The menu also shows HH, with a limited set of items and cocktails. I want to try that as well. Food was great. Service was great, she wasn't pushy or constantly at our table. Restaurant is clean and I love the decor. There's a patio area where the bar is accessible as well. I want to come back. read more

Services was good but just a little off which is fine. Maybe language barrier and on a slow day.
