    Caesar salad

My husband and I have been coming here for a while. We always make a point to stop in whenever we are in Vegas and have always enjoyed the food. This last time was different, though. I took my three daughters after telling them how amazing the clam chowder, charbroiled oysters, and pan roast are. While we were enjoying our meal which consisted of those dishes, a seafood boil, and a Caesar salad, I noticed a small bug on the rim of the seafood boil bowl. The establishment is quite dark, and because my eyesight isn't the best these days, I initially tried to swat it away thinking it was a fruit fly. It didn't fly. We looked closer and realized it was a baby roach. I asked our waiter to come over, handling it discreetly, and he was genuinely shocked. He hurriedly removed the dish and asked if we wanted a replacement, which I declined. At this point, I fully expected a manager to come over to check on us or apologize, but that never happened. Our waiter returned to ask if we wanted boxes since we were only halfway through eating and had a lot of food left. However, as you can imagine, we had all completely lost our appetites. When the bill was brought, they did take off the cost of the seafood boil, but I was incredibly disappointed that this was the only effort made. I never saw a manager, and they did not offer any additional discount for completely ruining our family dinner. I paid the bill, left a 20% tip, and left.I went back and forth on whether or not to post this, but decided it was necessary. The customer service and hospitality following an incident like this were completely nonexistent. I will never be back.

Oyster Bar located inside Sunset Station. This place has stood the test of time without a doubt. I have been coming here for over 20 years. Stopped in after the Jordan Davis concert tonight, and boy did we get some delicious food. We ordered up a combo pan roast, oysters and a couple of waters. They give you a chunk of bread that is so delicious and perfect for dunking into the pan roast when it comes. The combo pan roast had delicious flavor, we didn't go with much heat because I feel it ruins the dish. The shrimp and seafood was cooked perfectly, the flavors in the broth were superb and the rice was perfectly cooked. The oysters, huge! So much meat and so much flavor on these oysters. I wish I had ordered 2 dozen. The staff is always amazing; the food is always delicious and the atmosphere is always upbeat and great. Go get a pan roast, seriously, do it now. You'll thank me later.

I've been on an oyster kick so obviously we had to stop in to this one since we were in the casino anyway. I can't remember our waiters name But he was very nice and explained what oyster they had available what the market price was and checked in on us during our meal. This place reminded me of the rainforest Cafe as the outside of it had water all around it with "waterfalls". We were able to sit at a table and watch the Knights game while we ate a dozen oysters, I can't remember what the name of them were. We followed that up with a clam steamer in the garlic sauce. That sauce was incredible to dip your bread in! To finish up the meal, We had the chicken gumbo with medium heat. That was the perfect amount of heat for me and I've never had okra that wasn't fried before! I would definitely come back just for the gumbo.

Come here and get the seafood pan roast. You won't be disappointed. I promise!

This place is 2nd best to the palace station pan roast. I think it's because the pan roast is cooked longer on the steamer so adds more depth and flavor. Whenever I don't want to wait in line, I go here and get my pan roast fix vs the one in palace station, be expected to wait a minimum of 30 mins to 2 hrs + even though they open 24 hrs. They need to get customer seated faster and take their orders in and they only have about 8 steamers to cook at a time and each steamer takes 15-20 mins to cook vs sunset station cooks it between 5-10 mins!! The service is great as they always check on us and fill our water. The jambalaya here isn't as good, so I recommend sticking to pan roast and clam chowder! I'll try their baked oysters next time.. Here's a cleaner, more polished version of your review while keeping your original voice and points: This spot is easily my second favorite for pan roast after Palace Station. I think the difference comes down to how long they cook it here--they leave it on the steamer longer, which really adds depth and richness to the flavor. Whenever I don't feel like dealing with the insane wait times at Palace Station, I come here instead to satisfy my pan roast craving. At Palace Station, even though they're open 24 hours, you should expect to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to 2+ hours. Part of the delay seems to be seating and ordering efficiency, plus they only have around eight steamers, and each batch takes about 15-20 minutes. In comparison, Sunset Station cooks theirs much faster--around 5-10 minutes. Service here is great--they're attentive, check in often, and keep your water filled, which I really appreciate. The jambalaya didn't impress me as much, so I'd recommend sticking with the pan roast and clam chowder. I'm planning to try the baked oysters next time.

The Oyster Bar is the best!! Whether you're at the Palace Station, Santa Fe, or Sunset Station, they are on top of their game. I have never had bad food or bad service, period! I always leave full and satisfied. If you haven't been, there's one near you! Go, eat and be happy!

The Oyster Bar at Sunset Station is always a solid choice and such a treat anytime I'm at a Station casino. The pan roast is seriously so good every time-and is a total comfort food! We went on a Monday and the wait really wasn't bad, though I've heard it can get long. Service is on the slower side, but it feels intentional and not rushed. The vibe is cute and classic, but it is loud since it's right in the casino, so be prepared for some background noise. One thing to note: the pan roast can get pretty spicy, so if you're not a big heat person, stick to the lower spice numbers. Still incredibly flavorful. I will be back :)

Awesome pan roast! Service was excellent. Love that you can see the chef cook our yummiest pan roast. Pan roast was substantial, you can taste the crab meat, lobster and shrimp. They didn't skimp out. The clam chowder was creamy. The clams were perfect. Love the ambiance here.

We always stay at the Sunset station. Always got cheap food from Brass fork graveyard specials and their $5.99 burgers, until...... we heard about Oyster Bar's happy hour, which occurs 1 hour prior to closing time. Always got the 1/2 dozen oysters, either clams or mussels and the clam chowder. All from about $9-12. We started venturing out and this last time we got drinks! A michelada and spicy pineapple margarita which is also on their HH. Then we really ventured out more and got their pan roast! We got the combo with shrimp, crab and lobster. So basically a seafood tomato soup! So good! You have to get the bread basket with butter!! Goes perfectly with every dish that is saucy! Our server made our night! So nice and always came back to check on us!! This location looks like a sea cave, including waterfalls! The counter seating gives you an overview of the steam pots. If I ever go alone, that's where I'm sitting! Next trip... Gumbo!

I decided to try the Oyster Bar inside Sunset Station today, and I'm glad I did. After reading several reviews, I knew I wanted to try the Shrimp and Lobster Fra Diavolo. And it did not disappoint. The dish was absolutely delightful. I chose a level 5 for the heat, which ended up being the perfect balance. I enjoy spice, but not so much that I can't actually enjoy the food. Honestly, next time I'd probably go up to about a level 7. I also ordered a Hurricane, which I really enjoyed, and they brought out complimentary bread to start things off. Which is always a nice touch. I sat at the bar where you can watch the chefs work, and that really added to the experience. The atmosphere felt lively without being overwhelming, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Overall, I truly enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back again.

In Green Valley Ranch casino after a movie and wanting a quick dinner. It is years since we ate at the Oyster Bar, so we gave it a try. No problem getting a table at 7:30 PM on a Wednesday evening. Our server was at our table right away to get our beverage order and answer questions about the menu. My wife went with the New England clam chowder ($10). A good sized bowl and very tasty. I ordered the house gumbo (($33). The house gumbo includes shrimp, chicken, meat, and veggies. Huge portion - took home half for lunch the next day (it reheats very well!!!) A bit pricey for a very informal restaurant - but it is in a casino so you don't expect a bargain. Tasty food, nice clean ambiance. Several TVs with sports on visible from every table.

I'll keep this short and sweet. During Lent season is tough as a luchador because we want MEAT! Came here on Friday and was looking for a quick exhibition match. My heel wife and I came here to meet up with some friends and needed a non-meat option. When I was taking the Southern California Lucha scene by storm, we used to frequent a Cajun spot called Ritters (RIP). I've heard this Oyster Bar having what you get from the Palace Station without the long queue. Tonight's match was a 3 on 2 handicap match against the pan roast team of Shrimp, Crab and Lobster. This match was very good, very flavorful and PACKED with the 3 different sea bugs. It came with a side of rice (could've used a little more but that's ok) and some bread as well. You can choose your spice level from 1 to 10, the server recommended a 4 but I laughed at such a suggestion and said to give us an 8 PORQUE NO SOY CULERO! DAME EL PINCHE OCHO! CERO MIEDO! This was able to feed both the heel wife and I, so if the $34 price tag seems like a lot, it can be split between 2 people. 1! 2! 3! The team of Shrimp, Crab and Lobster Panroast conquered! I look forward to having a rematch with these opponents. 5 OUT OF 5 LUCHAS!

We were back again last month and showed our family how amazing the restaurant truly is. We loved everything we have and left talking about how good it was for days! I absolutely love everything, the baked oysters are my favorite, the jambalaya and the little sourdough bread appetizers are everything. I can't remember our Filipino servers name.. but he was super good to us! Thank you guys for an awesome experience yet again, and we will definately be b

When he returned we asked which were which he said "we only had one kind so they're all the same." I feel he should have told us before serving them since they were $4 each! I ordered coippino which at $46 was expensive but I wanted a treat. Hubby ordered large clam chowder in bread bowl and Caesar salad. Cioppino lists first ingredient as crab. What I was served had no crab, 2 overcooked shrimp and rubbery calamari. The sauce was flavorful but so disappointing otherwise. The waitress said there was nothing she could do. We asked for the check, I gave her a code for 20% off, check came and no discount applied. I had to ask for it again. Overall just sad and disappointing. She never brought the additional Walt's shrimp even when I asked about it.

This has officially become our favorite mariscos spot! We've become regulars because everything…read moreabout this place keeps us coming back. The drinks are always delicious, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly every single time we visit. One of the best parts is that it's so close to our house, and they're always running great specials. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the generous portions you get. Whether we dine in or order takeout, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and never disappoints. If you're looking for amazing mariscos, great service, and a fun place to eat, I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We're so happy to have found this gem!

We've been coming here for years and have visited several of your locations. Until today, we've…read morealways had great experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. The prices have increased to a point that no longer feels justified, even for the basic fish taco. Unfortunately, the fish was undercooked and gummy, and the carne asada taco was just average. The quality simply didn't match the cost. We're happy to pay more for great food, but this felt like poor value. At this point, it's hard to justify returning. That's disappointing because we've genuinely enjoyed your restaurants over the years. We wish you all the best and hope you find a better balance between quality and pricing, but unfortunately, we won't be back.
