Fantastic donuts, especially the LaMars donuts, my favorite has chocolate icing and chocolate fluff. I don't drink coffee, so I just have water with my high calorie breakfast here. The only bad part is the location, way out west and south. Poor access from the rest of the city. read more

One of the greatest coffee/donut shops around! They recently posted a new drink called the Brown Sugar Swirl and it's now one of my favorites. With brown sugar and hazelnut, and caramel drizzle, it's not similar to any other drink! My first love was a donut, and Lamar's has brought me back to that same feeling! Red velvet with cream cheese frosting is everything (Sunday special). Along with the glazed donut holes. This is a hip urban style donut shop. The donuts are huge! One Bismarck is the size of two regular ones anywhere else. The long John can be filled with a number of different creams not just one and is the size of a small loaf of bread! It's always clean and staff always helpful and friendly. LaMar's has absolutey the best longjohn doughnuts I've ever had. They are huge! It's like eating 3 for the price of one. Whenever I bring LaMar's to work, my coworkers are always excited. They had some really mazing cake doughnuts as well like the banana, blueberry and red velvet cake varieties. Disgusting coffee, who ever thought that Dunn Bros Coffee was any good? I orded a meduim White mocha latte and it tasted like in pure black coffee, no flavor what so ever. The donut holes are just ok, its pretty hard to mess up plain glazed donut holes... In all honesty I feel like it was a waste of my money and time since i was in the drive for for about 10 minutes and they didnt even have a line.... no car behind me and it was like 6:25am... Oh on a side note they need to hire employees that know how to count donut holes and money... I only got 9 donut holes and not 12 as thats what i paid for. I like their donuts and lafrappe, however they have raised their prices. They were expensive before but now they are sky high and rather outrageous. I really wish their people would listen when you order. I always order my lafrappe with whip cream on top, it is 50/50 weather they actually listen or not. They never seem to give out napkins. I always ask for, but common sense says if a person is in a drive thru they will probably need a napkin. The other day I orders s white fluff lamars bar. I got a giant box with a wet iced donut. La Mars has the best donuts in town. Hands down! Their donuts aren't too greasy or taste like lard, they're moist, dense and flavorful. My favorites are the classic glazed (a must try), as well as there speciality cake donuts like pumpkin, banana, etc. My only cons about this place is that it's not close to my house and that the Dunn Bros coffee isn't anything special. read more

Disappointing drive-thru service. My son & I stop here (usually twice /wk) before I drop him off at school. Today, our order had to be repeated bcuz no one actually took the order the first time. The gent taking drive-thru orders is borderline rude. My son always orders the glazed donut with white icing. The icing is always runny and he says the donut is too "doughy". Today I requested one glazed old-fashioned & one chocolate glazed old-fashioned. Received one glazed, one powdered. Also ordered a bagel which wasn't even sliced or even offered as toasted. It was also hard as a rock! We are NEVER given napkins. Always need to ask & today they didnt even have them @ the drive-thru & the gent (I believe is the shift mgr) didn't even know where to find them! We are also never offered a receipt. It's worth going out of our way for Krispy Kreme (120th & W Center Rd) where service is ALWAYS impeccable & donuts taste much better! For the $$ (rather pricey), one would expect GREAT service & amazing value. This donut shop certainly does NOT even come close to that criteria. read more

Please please please train your staff! My latte is hardly ever right and the service is terribly slow. The morning rush before work has to wait too long! Love seeing young kids working in there but I think management needs to train them better. Great donuts though! read more

I contacted the main office for LaMar's after our visit to advise them of the dirty condition of the Audrey Street store and received a very prompt response assuring me this would be addressed. It has been 3 weeks and of this morning it is just as dirty.... We won't be returning. read more

The donuts are fantastic. Absolutely great product! But: The drive-through process is incredibly slow, and they can't get the job done right. Confusion and lack of customer concern. When you enter the store, it's worse. The floors are filthy. There are donuts on the floor around the trash cans. Tables are dirty, and even if cleaned they are still sticky. There is powdered sugar on the floor everywhere. The bathrooms are disgusting. The staff at the counter don't care about customer service. I've stood there and watched them bumping into each other behind the counter, never acknowledging me for far too long. They are an unmanaged group of young teens, without any guidance from a leader. If I owned this place, I'd be embarrassed. Great donuts, but the service and cleanliness is far too overwhelming for us to want to return. read more

I have ordered chocolate glazed doughnuts twice and gotten chocolate doughnuts with white glaze. So, today I told the girl at the window "please be sure to give me the white raised doughnut with chocolate glaze." She sounded ticked off and when she handed me the bag she asked"Do you want to check and see if I got it right." I said I trusted her and she said "I know people get the white glazed doughnut confused with the chocolate but I don't." So, I thanked her and drove off. One mile down the road I go for a doughnut and yep "stupid chocolate with white glaze." I went back and when I walked through the door her and another employee were laughing at me until they saw how pissed I was. The other employee quickly got me the correct doughnuts while little ms.
