Had the opportunity to have a dinner out with friends downtown at Lamezze and it was a great opportunity to see what the space is all about. This is a mediterranean restaurant with a primary focus on signature dishes yet some had their own flair which was nice. A fairly intimate restaurant, you could find a few table tops and seating at their bar. We had a reservation for about 6 people and we're placed in one of their central tables. This restaurant is across the building hallway from the Aloft Hotel for those who are staying downtown. I enjoyed their happy hour that we were able to enjoy which ended up being a daily hh if I recall correctly. From signature cocktails including their margarita and select wines, you could choose your choice of elixir. Food was decent and the table enjoyed it overall.

Great food with some good flavor. I especially liked the jalapeño poppers with hummus. The Bowl was great the citrus flavor gave it that kick I expected and the asada meat had an amazing flavor as well. I would love to try a shawarma plate next time. I will say I was kinda let down that there was no additional sauce to the order like a tzatziki sauce or something. The order came out to about $53 on Uber Eats and the only sauce they provided was a tiny cup of sauce for the calamari so I was pretty let down by that. Other than that the food was great I would order from here again.

Lamezze is one of those downtown El Paso gems that immediately pulls you in -- the kind of spot that feels like it should be buzzing in a bigger city, yet somehow still holds that local warmth. The vibe is elevated Mediterranean chic: soft lighting, stylish plates, and a touch of romance that makes it ideal for date night. The service? Spot-on -- attentive without hovering. They have an impressive list of drink options, plus a full bar tucked off to the side, and it's connected to a charming hotel, which adds to the whole experience. Now the food -- absolutely phenomenal. Their vegan options go beyond the usual: calabacita soup that's cozy and flavorful, falafel and hummus done right, and my personal favorite, the roasted fire cauliflower kebab plate -- charred to perfection. And then they surprised me with hummus-stuffed jalapeño poppers that were downright addictive. My husband went for the same dish, bacon-wrapped (mine, obviously, sans bacon), and we both cleaned our plates. Fair prices, generous portions, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger -- Lamezze nails it.

I visited this restaurant in El Paso for a very late lunch and early dinner on a Monday. I had flown in early for work meetings and hadn't had a chance to eat all day, so I was really craving something filling, nutritious, and preferably at a sit-down restaurant after hours of travel and driving. I remembered this spot because I'd stayed at the Aloft next door on a previous trip, though I hadn't dined here before. I'm glad I finally did. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the seating was cozy. While the booth had a bit of dust on it, it was easy to wipe down and didn't affect my experience. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout my visit. Thet served me water immediately and I got a blueberry refesher-like drink (non-alcoholic), as well as the vegetable kabob platter, which came with yellow rice and a variety of veggies. I asked to substitute the tahini with whipped feta, and they were happy to accommodate. The whipped feta was quite tart and tasty, though it was a bit crumbly and hard to spread on the pita bread. Still, everything was fresh and flavorful. Because I was so hungry and eating at an odd hour -- too late for lunch, too early for dinner -- this meal really hit the spot. It kept me satisfied for the rest of the evening. While I ended up grabbing dessert from a nearby bakery across the street, I could have easily stayed for dessert here as well. Overall, this was a clean, affordable restaurant with great service and a solid Mediterranean menu. A great spot to dine in El Paso!

It's 11 am and I'm staying at the Aloft downtown El Paso, I'm hungry I missed the free breakfast. Then I remembered there's a restaurant on the first floor. I make my way get a seated right away, table for one. It's busy but they have 3 waiters in duty and they are moving. I order and although it takes a bit my Whiskey Pecan French toast comes out with a homemade breakfast patty. The French toast is very good, sausage patty not my style. But I eat it. Then I was still hungry so I order the Moroccan Shawarma off the lunch menu with the house salad. It comes much quicker than the French toast did and it was my favorite thing I had there. Shredded lamb in a carnitas way. Loved the flavor, the Tzatziki sauce was good and I thought I might need more but realized I didn't, it was the perfect ratio. House salad was good with their tangy house dressing. I am coming back for that Shawarma!

Service was slow but food and drinks were good. I would definitely check it out again. I love the green and gold aesthetic.

The food was not bad, the waitress treated me weird when she saw I came here by myself to have lunch. I can't imagine that's very abnormal. That being said, they stuck me in a corner in a very uncomfortable spot. The place has a good vibe if you're trying to find a place to chit chat and grab a bite with people, just don't come alone.

I wanted something healthier for dinner and found this place on Yelp - it was perfect! Lots of great dinner options, but we got the roasted cauliflower as an appetizer and I had the pecan crusted salmon for my entree. It was really flavorful and fresh although the dressing was a bit too heavy on the arugula. The cauliflower was average. I really liked the ambience here and the fresh flowers at the table. Our sever was very attentive and quick. There's only street parking nearby.

The downtown location is a perfect spot to meet friends for brunch. The menu is very Mediterranean, which means heart healthy! I came with a gal pal and the place did not disappoint - the atmosphere was relaxing and service was on point. My friend scarfed down her entire gyro before I had taken a few bites of my dish- she said it was really really good!

I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

I arrived just after 8:30 am, but there was plenty of room. I got seated at the bar, and got to see everything. I asked for coffee, and it came quick and hot. Then i took a look at the menu, but the nice thing about the bar is that you can see everything that was ordered get prepped. I ordered a pozole rojo. It was a good choice, according to me... it was a lot of food. It came with a slice of toasted and buttered bolillo bread. It was loaded with more pork, than hominy - a lot. The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

I really looked forward to this place and wanted to like it but the service just dimmed the meal. We went for a graduation celebration and did not feel that. I do acknowledge that we show up quite late since the graduation ended late. We placed our orders right before the kitchen closed. Throughout the meal, we were not offered extra bread, a dessert menu, or even a mere "Congratulations" from our server. Walking in, there was a cool flower art installation hanging over the tables, which was a really unique touch and probably one of the more memorable parts of the space. That said, the overall vibe felt a little bland and didn't quite match the hype we were expecting. Food-wise, the experience was a bit mixed. We ordered a ribeye, but it unfortunately came out pretty cold. We let our server know and he did take it back so the kitchen could warm it up, which we appreciated. The table bread that came out was also on the dry side and not very impressive. The spicy margarita ended up being one of the better parts of the meal. It wasn't actually on the menu, but they made one for us and it was really good. We also ordered fries, which were solid, and the bone marrow (called "Mexican butter") was easily the highlight! It sauce that it came with! 10/10 It was rich, flavorful, and definitely the best thing we tried. ‼One quick heads-up for anyone visiting: there's a nail sticking out of the handrail going down the stairs to the bathroom, so just be careful grabbing the railing on the way down.‼ Overall, there were a couple good items, but the experience felt a little underwhelming compared to the expectations from the reviews. Maybe it was just an off night.

For starters the atmosphere was so cute. Absolutely loved the bar and hanging pots everywhere. Such a clean restaurant and cute vibe. Our waitress was very nice and friendly to us. So no issues there! For drinks I got their berry lemonade which tasted just like lemon juice. I had to request for sugar to be added since it was so sour so beware. My food had came out and to be honest I'm just a little bit disappointed. The rigatoni was cooked but the sauce for it was really not tasty? Like there was almost not a flavor I can taste. Of course there was something but it was very plain and barely even there. It also was not spicy whatsoever. I added grilled chicken too and oh boy was that dry dry DRY. The burrata personally I'm not a fan in general so of course I wouldn't be a fan this time either but they gave a nice little plate full of it. They added some oiled toasted bread and it was way too crispy in my opinion. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and his dish tasted great! Very juicy chicken and cooked all the way. The sauce was perfect too nice and flavorful and great pairing with the chicken. His butter noodles were just like regular butter noodles so not bad. Finally the crème brûlée. Probably the most disappointing dish we ordered. It took repeated stabs to break the sugar glaze on top. Me and my partner were honestly thinking that they added the cream on top to hide how burnt it was actually. Unfortunately because the glaze was so thick and burnt it made the rest of the cream taste have the burnt flavor. It was sad because my partner was looking forward to this desert. Also took wayyy longer to arrive than our entrées. I will say that the waitress was very helpful and she actually covered the crème Brulé. I didn't even ask she just offered, I think she could tell that we didn't enjoy it and I had nicely told her it wasn't what we were expecting so thank you sincerely. Overall I think this is a perfect spot to maybe try drinks and hang with friends. Food was okay, wouldn't try it again in that regard but overall a decent spot here in El Paso if you're looking for something new. Maybe best to ask what's their best dish to serve. Overall thank you.
