My husband and I have been wanting to try this place because a lot of our friends recommend it. We randomly went in when the Dodgers game was playing and enjoyed a pitcher of beer, wings and an extra large pizza all while watching the Dodgers win! The lady at the counter was extremely nice and informed us that getting the extra large pizza would actually be cheaper and you get more versus the large because we were debating on whether or not we wanted to get a large or an extra large. I really like that this place. It is family friendly. There's plenty of booths, tables and games for the kids. I love that there's plenty of TVs with various things on it for customers to enjoy. We took some friends since the last order. Let's face there are no very many good options for pizza in the EG 99 side. My kids wanted Lamppost and we were closer to this location. Called the order and told them I had a coupon. I already had a feeling they wouldn't take it bc the gentlemen I gave you an offer. I go in and show it. Log in and showed the there address and the gentlemen just said "I don't know what that is." I recently tried the Whole Nine Yard (combination) pizza from Lamppost, and it absolutely hit the spot! The crust was nicely cooked-- crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside. Recently started going back here for our pizza fix. Inside is adequate for a small group- there's a couple of booths and a couple tables both longer and small to fit your needs . SCAMMERS! The price online vs the price on the menu in front of the register vs the price they charge you over the phone are all significantly different! I even inquired about the discrepancy in price, and was told it was for a different type of pizza and when I clarified what I was seeing on the site, I was cut-off and told that's not the case. They wanted to charge me $10 more than the site. When going into the store to pay, the menu in front of the register was $6 more than the site and $5 less than what she quoted me at. The icing on the cake was the customer service- let me say, if you don't like people or having questions asked, don't work in customer service/hospitality! The person who assisted me had short hair along with an "eff this" attitude. She cut me off on the phone and she had a very standoff-ish demeanor when I came in and told her the name for the order. Okay pizza I really liked the old sauce they use to have the new sauce upsets my stomach.

I love their pizza however today I had the worst customer service ever!! Called for delivery. Placed the order and then I was advised there is a $3 charge for delivery...I asked to change to pick up. The person on the phone was not sure how to reverse the $3 charge so he asked the manager while I was still on the phone...the manager said, "why the hell did they order just to cancel! They just WASTED our time!" I was SHOCKED to hear the manager talk about a customer like that. I then asked to speak to the manager and was advised HE is the manager. I ordered a pizza from Mountain Mike's but before I picked that pizza up and stopped by Lamppost to ensure my credit card was not going to be charged...as I am WALKING INTO THE RESTAURANT I can hear the manager talking about my phone call and how I cancelled my order and what the "F", etc...in his mid-sentence I said I AM THE CUSTOMER WHO CANCELLED THE ORDER that you're talking about. I immediately asked for his name and his response was NOPE I don't have to give you that...I just shook my head and said ok...Then the manager and I started to have a heated conversation and I advised his customer service skills needed IMPROVEMENT. Then I made mention that I organize fundraising at local food establishments for a local school with over 800 students and he IMMEDIATELY changed his tone and had the audacity to say he wanted to work with me in the future....WHAT and subject others to his horrible customer service. We recently visited post covid and the employees were either drunk or high cussing up a storm (mind you I had My children with me) I observed whoever was in charge of the pizza oven touching the pizza with no gloves, after we were already done eating. It was basically ran by children. Not to mention the pizza is not what it used to be, soggy and tasted like old ingredients plus it was burnt on top. Not really into pizza but out of the blue I decided to give this place a try and am very glad that I did. Service was good and staff were very nice. Restaurant was clean. Prices were good and as far as the pizza went it was pretty good. Nice seasoned sauce and a good amount of pepperoni with a huge amount of real cheese. Only thing that was very basic was the cheese bread. Nothing to them. Just the bread and cheese. Would be taken up a notch if they added some seasoning to it. Will I be back?
