Gal taking order/cashier was cluesless on Sunday night...she messed up our order big time. She was unfocused and ruined our dinner/outing. The manager that came to help did not offer to fix my order and I had to pay for an additional Pizza- I had to pay for her mistake. At some point she added 3 pizzas when I only ordered two...we got one delivered..she never placed the order for my kid and I had to pay extra... Terrible experience...sad as we would go there frequently. I've worked in the restaurant business and I highly recommend that you retrain your staff. Very disappointing. They used to make great pizza here. Now even Little Caesars has them beat and bad. I ordered a couple of pizzas last night, spent $45. When they arrived the crust was rubbery and the toppings were far overcooked though I will stop short of saying burned. So biting into it was like biting into a hot, cheesy old tire. I had order a two topping pizza, half pepperoni and half garlic chicken. I literally repeated my order twice with the women over the phone and even she kept making mistakes and apologizing. I Received my pizza only to come find out she put it as a one topping pizza. If you are looking for a good pizza then this is your place to be at. Its kind of pricey but its all totally worth it. They have all you can eat buffet from 11-2 and sports on all day. They need to say if they don't take orders after a certain time, I get that you close at 10 but to answer the phone at 945 pm, 15 min until you close and instead of any sort of greeting that is friendly I get a woman saying 'Hi , this is Lampost pizza we are currently closed.' I know it wasnt the answering machine..which I feel would be more appropriate and less rude, considering she heard me tell my kids they were saying they were closed before hanging up. No apology, no reason nor explanation provided as to why they have decided not to offer their usual dining fare until the stated time of closure. I know it shouldn't be too big of an issue but here's the thing ... if you're going to quit sooner than stated either offer a reason why with an apologetic tone or don't answer the phone at all!! It's just unprofessional and gives an impression that there's a less than average work ethic. I get that we all have less than great days and sometimes you just want to go home. But perhaps at least see what the customer wants before basically saying that despite your ADVERTISED closing time you are choosing to stop service early with no explanation. I never liked pizza before. All I ever had was round table or Pizza Hut. I would always complain when the family wanted pizza because I hated that greasy stuff. Second time ordering from here. The first time I did pick up and second I had it delivered. Pizza is good not too greasy and crust is always fluffy crispy. Cheesy breadsticks were yummy. We also ordered 8 bbq wings, and more than half of them came out burnt. I was a bit disappointed. Friendly staff and interior is okay...a bit dark. Delivery was fast but there was a delivery charge. First of all I would like to say that this location specifically has been my go-to pizza place since 2012. That's why it upsets me to rate it so poorly. This evening I had an incident with the "manager" whom I've never even met before and had a very rude demeanor. I called over the phone for pickup (placing my regular order) and attempted to pick it up with the same debit card I have used in the past. The lady at the front counter was extremely kind as well as one of the other workers came to assist her when she realize that I had an issue. The problem arose when she attempted to have the manager come speak with me about my transaction not going through and he rudely brushed off her request. I knew I had funds on my card and actually checked my balance in front of the workers. They then proceeded to tell me certain debit cards won't process through their system (which again, this is the SAME card I have transaction history with at their location). Because the card would not go through, I then told them that they could deliver the pizza to my doorstep but they would have to break a $100 bill. That is when they told me that they cannot except $100 bills even though they have before. The manager who claimed to own the franchise was very rude, dismissive and standoffish to any type of suggestions that I gave him regarding customer service and the way he was reacting to my situation. I asked him for his information: first, last name, Employee ID number as well as the corporate office telephone number and this is what I received instead (picture attached). After the situation was said and done I felt devalued as a customer. It was almost as if he felt I was being problematic although I spoke in a very respectful tone. With all of this being said I highly suggest you purchase pizzas from ANY OTHER LOCATION but this one. I would rather travel across town to another Lampost than to put up with what I did this evening. It was very disheartening. Also, if you do visit this location, tip the cashiers because those ladies are the real MVPs. Despite the lack of professionalism their boss had, they remained personable and kind. read more

I used to really love Lamppost, but it's been going downhill for me. I REALLY like their cheesesticks. Those are about the only thing that I look forward to when my parents order pizza. The wings are decent too. Their pizza is pretty standard but I don't really like their crust. It's too thick and chewy for me. I definitely prefer thinner crusts unless the pizza is really good.
