We stopped in and my daughter had a photo of some simple nail art (bows) I showed the photo before the nail service started and then when nearly complete was told they could not do what she asked for. Completely understand if something can't be done and I should have been told before they even started. A child's mani/pedi cost $45 and we still had to go a second place to get it fixed. read more

I went here because of the reviews and I won't be going back. I had gel nail polish on my fingers and regular pedicure and color on my toes. The pedicure was the worst part :( She exfoliated only one foot! Nails were cut weird and polish was messed up when I got home. Manicure was pretty good though. Had to make the hard decision to change nail salons ... my former one... just didn't respect me.. my time... or appreciate the 25-30% tips o have her and her coworkers! I made an appt at Lana's with Yvonne for a gel refill ... she was awesome.. i wanted a pedicure... but they were super busy so I agreed to come the next day... Nicole ( i believe that's her name ) did a spectacular job.. my feet feel and look amazing again... and on either visit... i never felt rushed .. Both woman were friendly and made me feel appreciated!!! Yvonne had mentioned she also did lashes( i've got PTSD from the last salon ) i had already planned on getting my lash fill with the gal I went to in Goleta( hated the drive) bc. i was just over trying to have all my " girlie" appts in one place . The older woman who did my manicure cut the skin around my nails in five different places, drawing blood. She repeatedly stabbed my cuticles, and had no response when I told her she was hurting me. Maybe it's because I have high expectations when an establishment has good ratings on Yelp but I was seriously disappointed in this place. My daughter and I went for a simple French mani and the nail tech did what I would call a half professional job. I would never return not recommend this place. I called for a last minute full set and pedicure and Yvonne was nice enough to come in to help me, she was very good at acrylics, I wish she didn't file down so they lost length. Hue did my pedicure and she was phenomenal! She really took the time to make sure my toes looked great, by far the best lady yet! The customer service from the ladies was great they were very welcoming and warm. (Not that awkward feel of them speaking another language without you thinking it's about you) like most other salons I have been to. Also Hue informed me I could get a special cream to keep my feet from peeling which I really appreciated. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars though because overall the prices were a little steep and also for upgrades it really adds up. I paid 112 for a full set with gel and a pedi. Had the best manicure here! My mom and I both got mani/pedi combos last Saturday and it was a great experience! Nail polish -- whether I do it myself or have it done professionally NEVER EVER stays on more than a day and a half. This manicure is still on and looks pretty darn good 6 days later! Usually my polish chips and cracks off my nails but not this time yay! It's staying so well that the edges are starting to wear off naturally lol. I loved the attention to detail - the guys (I got worked on by two guys at once!) cleaned up and exfoliated my nails, cuticles, hands and feet so nicely and we're both very thorough. Never coming here again. The lady that did my nails cut 4 of my fingers and didn't apologize once. Even after cutting my fingers and seeing the blood, she continually filed my nails like nothing happened. I had to tell her multiple times that she cut me(like she doesn't see the blood) and I had to pull my hand back multiple times so that she wouldn't go back and file my cut! If I was able to give no stars I definitely would. The lady that did my nails was constantly talking on the phone or with her fellow coworkers and kept stalling on my nails. I wouldn't have minded if she didn't keep stalling on my nails. She literally would start filing one nail and stop and talk with her coworker and I'm just sitting there waiting for her to continue. My nails were bulky and uneven and just really badly done. And then she had the audacity to expect a tip, when she noticed she wasn't getting one, she walked away from the counter with my friends card still in the machine! I wish I read the reviews on this place before stopping by, I see from the reviews that I'm not the only one that had a problem with a certain nail tech there. read more

I tried Yvonne's Nail Salon, today and was pleasantly surprised. The interior is lovely and calming, Yvonne and her staff were very welcoming. So many good Opi colors to choose from and all the polish was new. The lotions were scrumptious and the massage was not painful (I have varicose veins). The salon was very clean and well organized.
