Got my nails and feet done here two weeks ago and needless to say I'm not coming back again. The lady who did my feet was really sweet and did a great job. The lady who cleaned my nails made all my nails bleed and kept putting rubbing alcohol on it.. Holy crap all my fingers were bleeding why do you keep putting rubbing alcohol on them?? She did this for a total of 4 times. She kept seeing me flinch and said sorry so I told her it's okay and just to not do it anymore. But she kept doing it. And then Yvonne did the actual gel manicure for me but I think she was in a rush to leave and close her store so she did a really bad job. And it made me uncomfortable on how much she was rushing my nails. I felt really unwelcomed. My nails did not look the way I wanted them to but I felt really bad that they were in such a rush to leave so I didn't say anything. So that was my fault. But she definitely didn't do the gel part correctly because my nail polish came off within a week and gel manicures usually last me 3 weeks to a month. I was pretty upset paying $80 (including tip) for something I should've paid $30 bucks for. I came here as a last resort because I couldn't get back to Orange County fast enough to get to my regular nail salon, but I think it would've been better if I had just not gotten my nails done at all before my trip. I pay $30 for both my feet and nails with better quality and service in Cerritos so coming here was really upsetting. Maybe coming here when they're not closing or in a rush to leave would've been a different review. read more

I guess I didn't get Yvonne (whoever did my nails spoke very little English, which is fine, but didn't introduce herself), because this is one of the worst manicures I've ever had. (I've been getting manicures, weekly, for nearly 40 years, do I have a frame of reference.) My nails and cuticles are ragged less than a week after my appointment. Not recommended. read more

I was in town for a wedding and decided to get my nails done in Santa Barbara. I looked on Yelp and selected Yvonne's Nails because of their high rating. I was able to schedule an appointment right away. I got a mani pedi and my husband got a pedi. I asked for a solid color with an accent glitter over it. I was shown what it would look like before and i agreed. The final result wasn't what I wanted but I couldn't complain because they did exactly what I asked them to do. I was happy to leave without any issue but one of the workers there took a look at my nails and asked point blank and with a lot of care if this was really what I wanted. He offered to do the color over again and made some key suggestions on what might work out better. This is the type of customer service that is extremely rare. He definitely made it right and said if I ever had an issue to feel free to say something because it was important for them to provide what their customers were looking for. Yvonne's Nail Salon is, hands down, the best mani pedi salon in Santa Barbara!! We decided to try a new salon today after regularly going to a couple of others in the area. We didn't know what we were missing out on! There are massage chairs and they actually massage your arms, hands, legs and feet also prior to your mani pedi. This is not an in and out salon, so if that's what you're looking for, this is not the place. They take their time and make sure you are relaxed and enjoying the whole process. Excellent salon! High recommend. I am very picky about where I get my nails done and this place meets my high standards! It's very clean and they have tons of great polish colors. My sister discovered this place while staying at the Sandpiper on State. I'm so glad she did as I've been searching for a place that I can return to, again and again. My spa pedicure was by Yvonne, and she was sooooooo responsive to my nuances...I didn't have to ask her to use less pressure, for example, she sensed it and asked if I'd like less...aaahhhhh, that allowed me to truly relax.
