The portions were generous, and we even took the leftovers home. The food came out quickly and tasted good (better than Spring by Chinese Mama, in my opinion. But I can't generalize, since we only ordered two dishes). At 11:30 am, there was already a queue outside. Both Chinese and locals were eating there. The long-awaited jasmine tea was so comforting, especially since they were playing Mandarin songs. After this meal, we headed back to Toronto.

I added an extra egg, extra pork belly, and extra black garlic oil because... why not? Anywhoddles with the extra "trimmings" it came to $18 dollars. Let's get back to the review Now lean in so I can tell y'all about this broth. It tasted authentic to me. It was rich, velvety, silky smooth, creamy without being heavy, and bursting with savory goodness. Every sip had me closing my eyes The noodles had the perfect bite--not too soft and not too firm. The pork belly was tender, flavorful, and had just the right amount of char around the edges. And those eggs? Whew! Perfectly jammy with that beautiful golden yolk. So... if you're a ramen lover--or if you've been thinking about trying ramen for the first time--I highly recommend giving Eki Ramen a try.
