I don't even want to give 1 star, worst teeth cleaning I've had in 35 years. Don't recommend. Waste of time and money.

I went to this dental office when I was looking for a better dentist than the one I had. I went in with some tooth pain, even though I had just been seen by my previous dentist a few months prior. Dr. Mitch showed me my X-rays and pointed out where the fillings the old doctor had done had left gaps and overhangs, causing more decay. He took a lot of time explaining everything and recommended replacement. I just had three fillings replaced by him today and I couldn't be happier. I've never really had a good dental experience before but this was great. He made sure I was comfortable and didn't feel anything. He even gave me breaks to rest my jaw so it wouldn't be so sore from holding it open. A few hours later I had three brand new fillings and I can chew on that side again. I also just flossed for the first time and can tell he did a much better job than the last guy. I'll be sticking with Dr. Mitch from now on. read more

Started going to Dr. Wechsler 3 years ago and needed a major amount of dental work done. I always hated dentists and dental offices until a friend assured me he was the best. My friend was right! Alright, when I think of Dentist, I can think of a hundred other things that I wold rather do, like go to the gynecologist or clean toilets all day. However, it is one of those things that I suppose, If I want to have all my teeth you just have to do. I was very pleased when I walked through the door, it was clean, it smelled nice and it was the complete opposite of the horror I envision in my mind of what a dentist office looks like. The front desk staff were all very pleasant which is something I feel you just don see too often whether you go to the Doctors or the Dentist. When I actually got seen the dental tech I had was wonderful. Very bubbly and enjoyable as was Dr. Mitch. I appreciate the honesty of the office, the helpfulness of the staff, the plan of action to not go over the yearly maximum and even though the news of whats wrong with my mouth was most unpleasant :), the visit and experience I had was exceptional. read more

It's not fun finding a new doctor or dentist, thankfully my wife did the homework before we met. After we got married I followed her steps and visited Dr. Wechsler. I found him and his staff are competent and fully engage in their customers. It's not awkward or uncomfortable like my previous dentist which made me paranoid. I've had a fair bit of work done over the past 2 years, mainly because I hadn't been to a dentist in probably 10 years - I hated going to the dentist due to my previous experiences. At any rate, I'm extremely happy with my "new" dentist and enjoy the comedic banter between the staff and the dentist while they work on your teeth; it's a great distraction and really helps take the focus off the physical discomfort of being in the chair with 4 hands in your mouth. I would highly recommend giving this group a chance if you are in the market for a dentist who shows concern and seems to do what's best for your teeth. I'll give them a 5 with hope they get the positive recognition they deserve. Btw, I think Yelp! is crap. I've resubmit my legitimate reviews on a few good businesses now and they keep filtering them. I gladly travel an hour and a half to visit this office for my appointments. And I've been coming here for several years now. I've seen the same dentist for like forever, so its not one of those revolving dentist places where you see different general dentist everytime you go. The two dentists there have been there for a decade. And I like the fact that if I have a question about my treatment, the actual dentist gets on the phone and talks to me like an equal. The assistants are all nice...it really feels like a mom and pop shop. They are not pushy at all, so I'm sticking with them. read more

Have been going to Lancaster dental since I was nine. I started off with doctor Mitch, but now Dr. Phil is my main man. I hadn't been to the dentist for 6 years, and Dr. Phil welcomed me with the greatest smile (and crude dentist humor). I hate needles and had to have a few rounds of juice but Dr. Phil was very skilled and made sure it was as painless as possible. His assistants are also very sweet. While going to the dentist is the worst, Lancaster dental makes it worth it. read more

I have seen Dr. Mitch for over two years now. I know that I have poor teeth genetically, and I have seen many dentists over the years, some that I thought were good, others that I knew were not so good. Dr. Mitch and the staff at Lancaster Dental Group are amazing! I have recommended them to everyone I know. They make me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I used to get very nervous going to other dentists and I would often put off getting the care that I needed, this is no longer the case. I have also heard of some dental practices that will push unneeded work on patients simple to increase profits, NOT HERE! Dr. Mitch will tell you what you need and your time frame for getting work done, they will work out a plan to ensure you get your teeth looking and feeling great!. This was a great experience! I've been to a number of offices over the years that I didn't care for....but this office was fantastic...They had a friendly staff, a great doctor, and were extremely honest and up-front with their fees. I've been in for a couple appointments now (cleaning and fillings) and every time the staff is happy and very welcoming. Dr. Mitch has been super friendly and done great (and painless!!!) work. And there haven't been any billing "surprises" or last minute "by the way, we need to do this extra..." while in the chair. We recently moved to Lancaster and needed to find a trustworthy dental office. After much research we decided to give Lancaster dental group a shot. As soon as you walk in you feel the welcoming environment. The waiting room is small but cozy and the staff greets you with a smile. One of the great things about this office is you are not waiting too long before being seen by the doctor or assistants. The assistants and very kind and friendly from the moment you are taken back to the moment you leave. Dr. Mitch is very thorough during the exam and is very honest about what is important and should be taken care of as soon as possible and what can wait. Also, we appreciate Dr. Mitch asking us if we are ok and comfortable during the whole procedure. Dr. Mitch has the most gentle touch when it comes to administering shots in the mouth, after the first you wont feel the last. He explains everything in detail and he makes sure you understand. He even showed me a medical book to reference his explanation which was great because I am a visual learner! Another great thing is Donna in the front desk. Donna is great at explaining the insurance aspect of this process. She is kind, professional and knowledgeable. All staff here is great and we are happy to have found our forever dental office. We moved to AV QUARTZ HILL fr out of state a few months ago. It's difficult to find services that we all REQUIRE in order to live a comfortable life. I was referred to "Dr Mitch" by a wonderful hair dresser I was referred to by a realtor. Upon entering the office the staff was extremely attentive to me. I went to the DDS because I knew I needed some major dental work. X rays were taken & Dr Mitch confirmed exactly what the dentist recommended in the state I moved from. Let's face it no one loves going to the dentist or any other health practioner. While explainng the xray to my husband & me, it was clear to us that Dr Mitch knew, almost as if he spoke to my former DDS, exactly what I need. He is very gentle, told me everything he was about to do while examining my teeth and jaw bone. I'm extremely pleased w/ this dental practice. Dr Mitch went to one of the best DDS schools in the US, UCLA. UCLA turns out amazing people from their famous school. After moving to Lancaster I made a mistake, I went to a different dentist first, then I found Dr. Mitch at Lancaster Dental Group. He's young, he's extremely well trained, he's painless, he's kind and he will explain everything to you and not try to pump up your bill with a lot of extras. Dr. Mitch even hooked me up with a dirt-cheap dental insurance plan that saved me hundreds of dollars (and it works at almost every dentist). Dr. Mitch did an excellent job on my crown, everyone at LDG is extremely nice. I can't say enough good stuff about this place, I'm very thankful that I found them. read more
