Been dealing with Jaguar since 2001 and never had a problem with them until Range Rover took over. Horrible, I have a 2012 XJL portfolio just turn 47,000 miles all of my services has been done by them, so they know about my car and the shape that it's in. I had an extended warranty on this car that cost $3,700 from Jaguar that didn't expire until August of 2018. Range Rover never honored the warranty! So I purchased another warranty with Carshield. Later after having this warranty I had an problem with the stabilizer bar links and the control arm which came to a total of $1807.11. After showing them that I had an extended warranty with Carshield who was going to pay for the parts and labor, Range Rover- Jaguar from CherryHill told them that the problem was a pre-existing! long story short they never honored neither contract and the service that they just did I was tremendous overcharged on their services when I was told that I needed an vacuum pump. I backtracked with my insurance company Endurance who has an standard guidelines on what should be paid out on parts and labor. Totally different for the same parts! I go to Fort Lauderdale in Florida for 2months every year and had to take my car to Land Rover there twice and it was above and beyond. So friendly and done within the same day or next. I scheduled a Thursday service appointment over a week in advance for my Land Rover and clearly stated what the service was for and that Land Rover corporate had agreed to a 30% goodwill contribution for the service, treated like a warranty claim. The promised loaner car was not available so an employee had to bring my wife to a car rental dealer. The vehicle was not looked at on the scheduled appointment day and was not finally ready until FIVE DAYS later, the following Tuesday!! We received the e-mail copy of the Invoice and the 30% was not reflected on the invoice. The service department claimed that they had not heard from Corporate, so I called my rep at Corporate and she said that she had in fact had several e-mail exchanges that morning with the Service Manager, Eric Silva. She advised Eric Silva that he could submit the claim through the warranty portal and adjust the invoice, to which Eric Silva never responded. She sent Eric Silva a follow-up, no response. My wife picked up the car and paid in full. I called Eric Silva to ask why he did not respond and do what was explained by Corporate and Eric told me that he would not "jump through hoops". Eric refused any responsibility, was very arrogant, unapologetic, rude and continued to try and talk over me during the call before Eric finally ended the call. AVOID JAGUAR LAND ROVER CHERRY HILL AT ALL COST!!! Read my experience..... Looking at these reviews, I likely should have started here before taking my vehicle for Service at Jaguar Land Rover Cherry Hill. To think I was in the process of potentially purchasing a vehicle from them. I brought my car in for service due to an unusual noise I was hearing from the engine bay. I've always had my car serviced at another dealership out of state with no issues. The Service Consultant called me later that day with a diagnosis and a estimated repair charge of $1700 dollars. Hearing the repair and realizing it's significance I of course authorized repair and picked up my vehicle the following day. Immediately after driving out of the lot and onto the interstate, I still heard the sound coming from my engine bay. I called the Service Consultant Loraine and left a voicemail immediately and explained that I'm still hearing a noise from the engine. After some text messaging Loraine asked if I could record a video of the sound and send it back. The video on the recordings were inaudible to the actual noise I was hearing, so I scheduled an appointment to bring the vehicle back in. During that time, the engine light came on in the vehicle. I've never had an engine light come on in this car. They diagnosed a completely different issue with the vehicle and charged me an additional $270 diagnostic fee. In the end I was left with over $1900 worth of repairs, the same issue I brought the vehicle in for, and now an engine light. I had a conversation with both the Sales Consultant and Sales Manager (Eric) with no acknowledgement and/or consideration for my concerns surrounding this repair. What I was left with was a lost in all confidence for this dealership which is sad. I've owner 2 Jaguars, and 2 Land Rovers all with great experiences. I sadly will not be purchasing from this dealership or seeking future service, although they're the closest to my home. I am unsure how to respond to the survey that was sent to. I took my vehicle to this dealership because "low battery" reading and "engine" light came on. I left my car at the dealership after speaking with a staff and was informed that was the best option. I called at noon the next day where I was transferred to a voicemail each time (3x). When my call was returned in the afternoon I was informed the technician who was taking care of my car was unsure of what was wrong and my option was that I could leave my car there, the codes would be cleared, and a technician would drive my car on Monday and see if the code(s) come back on. When I asked about the code I was informed it was the check engine and battery not what was actually wrong because they could not tell what was wrong. Shorter version after being told the current charges for being looked at and finding nothing and given my best option to leave my car at the dealership over the holiday weekend to be driven on Monday (an additional $250+$278) with no guarantee that they would figure out what was wrong I decided to take my car home. I figured since they would clear the lights I could take my car home and if the cleared things came up again I would bring it back on Monday. I would not have to go without my car or rent from enterprise over the holiday weekend. I was told I can pick up my car after 2pm and sent an email with charges ($278 total and my car was vacuum and washed). Could be worse I thought and went to get my car. I arrived after 2pm. My car wasn't ready, no worries I'll wait and look over this printed invoice I was provided. The invoice looked okay all except for the part where it says I was advised my battery needed replacement and offered a replacement but I declined. This made no sense to me as the reason for dropping off my vehicle and having a diagnostic performed was the battery low warning and my engine light coming on. Finding this out while in line to pay at almost 3pm and they close at 5pm on Friday on a holiday weekend was enough for me to take a deep breath and say this is not the place for me to take my vehicle. Suck it up that I am out that amount of money (life experience). Communication about fixing my vehicle was a failure. However, communication about the charge amount was made very clear even though they were not able to tell me what was wrong. Furthermore, I did get my car back and more disappointment and anger came with it. the engine light was still on and my car still said low battery (I guess the codes were not cleared) the car was not washed or vacuumed and there was two scratches on the door. I've owned this car for three weeks. I already moved on (if not for receiving this survey) and I am taking my car to a more highly rated repair shop that is more knowledgeable about Land Rover diagnostics, but since this message was sent to me inquiring about my experience with this place i figured I'd give an overview of my experience. Perhaps this information could be used to make improvements. Lastly, to the person that was "helping me" I am well aware that I have a luxury vehicle and I am prepare to pay for its maintenance. Don't go for services. I will never go there. My car has some minor dents, first pic. After repair, it becomes more serious. The paint got cracked after repair, second pic, and a minor problem becomes a serious problem now costing thousands of dollars for further repair. Worst Dealer on the East Coast!! I have owned four Range Rovers, one Land Rover and two Jaguars. All which were purchased at reputable Dealers on the West Coast (San Francisco & Walnut Creek). I recently moved to NJ and my Husband bought me a Discovery as a wedding gift. So thoughtful of him since I had recently sold my MBZ GL450 in California and was left with my SL. He insisted I needed an SUV for the snow. Cherry Hill sold us a "Loaner" with only a few miles on it giving us a "Deal"! Wonderful we thought. You'd think the car had basic things on it like adjustible seats. Adjustible seatbealts (safety issue), Homelink for garage door opener. Auto Tailgate opener. Nope. None of these items. We didn't look to see if they had these when we test drove the car because every newer car past 2010 has these as "standard items". Even the least expensive cars have this, yet alone a $65,000 car. I asked to trade it in on a more expensive car. Spend more money. They said no way. We filed a major complaint with Land Rover corporate. They agreed that the Dealer had not followed protocal and the GM was not doing what he should. They apologized and recommended we go to Princeton. The car started to fell apart thereafter. A Lemon and they knew it. Later a part flew off from the roof. They replaced it with a heavily damaged part. It actually went through inspection. Unbelievable. They replaced it with a "NEW" part. Again we filed a compalint with Land Rover corporate. They apologized and said they are working on removing the GM. In the meantime, we should go to Princeton for the remaing service on the car and work with them. That Dealer is awesome. Just like in California. All in All it was a good overall experience in Cherry Hill LR for my recent purchase of Range Rover Sport HSE Td6; Nicole, my sales person was knowledgeable and answered all queries related to sales and vehicle. She was courteous and took the hassle out of buying experience. Given the luxury brand, I would have preferred that, LR/RR would keep the buyer updated on status when one orders a customized vehicle. It is not a good feeling when one is left wondering about current status of order and timelines of delivery, especially when you are excited to get your hands on your toy ASAP; a weekly/bi-weekly email or something is a good gesture, just advise where do we stand with order, keep your customer posted pro-actively. It builds that trust as well as makes the client feel happy that someone else cares too. LR Cherry Hill needs to work on communication with client and hence my 4 stars instead of 5. read more

The customer service is absolutely horrific. I bought my Range Rover Sport from this dealership and it has been absolutely frustrating dealing with the manager of the service department, I don't know how he continues to have a job. I have had to bring my Vehicle in week after week because after the initial attempt to fix my brakes wasn't resolved they kept placing brake clips on my car and waited until the warranty was gone to charge more money to fix the initial problem that was not even fixed to begin with. Honestly, until just last week I would have recommended them. I've been a customer for 6 years, and purchased my second Land Rover from them (after moving to Denver) in October 2019. We purchased the LR4 sight unseen, paid to have it shipped to us in Colorado and were assured that the CO registration was being handled by the title company. After 3 months, at least 8 follow ups with our sales person, and having no valid registration for 2 months, we went to the CO DMV and learned that the dealer did not coordinate or cover any of the registration fees, as we were partially charged for, and told repeatedly that they were waiting for, to send to us. After calling the dealership to try to straighten it out, the sales managers response was, "We don't know how to sell cars outside of NJ - can only blame the state of Colorado". If they didn't know how to properly record the transaction, they shouldn't have sold me the car. Now, after several calls back to both the sales and general manager(Pierre) asking for help resolving the fees, they are completely unresponsive. Their lack of accountability and any attempt at customer service is unacceptable and absolutely not what I expect from Land Rover, especially as a returning customer. I am currently leasing a 2017 Evoque, which was leased from a Land Rover Dealership in New Jersey. I am extremely dissatisfied about all the functionality of this vehicle. I have had this car for less than a year and it has been into shop twice for what was so called computer updates to fix multiple control and computer problems. It's is currently in the shop for the third time. Every month since I have leased this car I could have been dropping this car off but I'm not wasting my time with problems that obviously can't be fixed. The same issues that were supposedly fixed, are still not. The computer an software in the car malfunction and do not work at least 50% of the time. I recently found out that they do not have new software to upload into the car and so far have been taking me in circle to not get me out of the lease. Taken safety into effect, when a car has a reverse camera you depend on what your seeing is what is behind the car. Not the case with Land Rover. The screen freezes and the image your looking at is not accurate and you can hit someone or and objects not knowing it's there. Crazy that Land Rover is getting away with this so far. This review is long overdue. The positive. Eric in the service department has always been easy to work with and pleasant. He is what made it possible for us to even pull back into the lot. But that's the only good about Land Rover Cherry Hill. The negative. On the day of the closing, with 12 miles on our odometer, the truck sputtered and died. The truck was towed back back to the dealership (thanks to Terri Chew, the sales rep - which incidentally was the last time we saw or heard from her). We were told they'd look into it and they gave us a loaner vehicle (which wasn't even the same model that we had just paid over $90,000 cash no less, for). The next day, we received a call and were told to come in. The center manager, Pierre Duris told us point blank that we had our gas tank tampered with and a foreign substance that wasn't gas was put into our tank. Pierre was rude, obnoxious and antagonistic. There certainly wasn't any excellence in service being granted once the check was handed over. Essentially we were told to put it through our insurance company. It took writing to the CEO, Dr. Ralf Speth, Jaguar, Land Rover in the UK for any action to be taken. In the end Pierre did nothing to make this go away. Land Rover USA head office offered to pay for the repair and damage that the unknown substance inflicted on our vehicle. Pierre continued to be antagonistic and even went so far as to shake our hands after the ordeal was over and say "I know you did this to your own vehicle". We still do not fully understand how the unknown substance ended up in our tank. Especially since they tank is filled for us prior to pick up and yet over a 1/4 of the substance in the tank was this unknown fluid. 12 miles of driving is not going to use up 1/4 of the tank of gas, so it is our beleif that the tank was tampered with at the Land Rover Cherry Hill or that the substance that is put into the tank in shipping as it comes overseas was not removed prior to the tank being filled with gas by the dealership. We will never know for sure as Pierre was completely unhelpful and not interested in assistance us in trying to figure out just what went wrong. We have been using the service department since, as we don't have to go through Pierre to do so and simply for convenience and warranty resons. The first year of our ownership was rocky with computer cliches and what not. Always I was told it was us doing something wrong. Example...clunking noise coming from undercarriage and I was told it was our imagination, until I insisted that they take it for a test drive. Sure, enough a lose rubber grommet on the exhaust system. There have been four or five other issues similar to that of the rubber grommet were I'm told it is us, but I think everyone reading this gets the point. read more

I ordered a part to be installed and scheduled the next available appointment. This was the door lock, so it was time sensitive parking in Philly. I waited two weeks until my scheduled appointment to find out they forgot to order the part, misquoted the fee, and was told I would need to wait an additional four weeks for the part to arrive from China (they had initially said it would be 3-5 days). I will most likely call the main line shop and see if they are able to do better, or order the part from Roversnorth; Atlantic-British and install it myself. read more

Had the best experience this week with Land Rover in Cherry Hill. Teri Chew helped me through the process which she made incredibly easy. I came in to test drive a vehicle which was not the color option I was looking for. The following business day she had located the vehicle I was looking for and had it locally with three days. To streamline the process Teri made sure everything was prepared for me before I arrived on pickup day. Unfortunately she couldn't not be present at the time I was coming in but Brad and Jeanie were just as helpful, made sure I didn't wait and got me through all my paperwork. FACTS: My wife and I had our 2010 Range Rover HSE towed to Cherry Hill Landover on 12/08/2014. The reason it was towed was because we brought tiers to Pep Boys in Berlin, NJ and there was damage to a wheel studs (broken off in the tire change process). They advised towing to the dealership to complete the repairs as a new hub set up has to be installed and rear bearings changed out. I met personally with the service writer Eric Silva to get a formal written cost for the work. Parts were to be ordered and the truck was set to complete by end of business on Wednesday 12/10/2014. I had a missed call from Eric Silva on 12/11/2014 at 8:20 a.m. and returned his call a minute after. He inquired if I still had the wheels stud lug nuts and the wheel lock key. I said that I did not and I did not think the truck had a locking wheel nut. He mentioned that he would use a special took to remove the locking wheel nut if it had one and also there would be an additional cost for the replacement lug nuts which I told him I understood. He also mentioned that there would be an additional potential cost for the rear bearings if they could not press them out. He quoted $315.08 for the set and specifically stated there would not be an additional cost for the labor as "they were already there doing the other work." This concluded our call. Eric and my wife spoke two other times from this point forward and he mentioned that they ran into some issues and it was taking longer than needed. The truck was not finished until Friday evening at 4:40 p.m. on 12/12/2014 and the dealership was closing at 5:30 so we were told. My wife went to pick the car up the following morning on Saturday 12/13/2014. The first issue is that the labor cost we were quoted at was (I have a written copy of this) and the bill came to $873.20. The part costs were correctly billed per the quote. The real issue and reason for this experience being shared is that after my wife drove the truck home after the repairs I took the truck for a ride and upon making left or right turns I heard a whistling sound coming from the rear. After parking the truck I got out to inspect the real tire and noticed that rear wheel had all five new studs but only three old lug nuts holding the wheel on!!!! The other rear wheel was also missing a lug nut and 4 of the five lugs on.....3/5 on one wheel and 4/5 on the other....the same exact issue I had the truck towed to the dealership for which Pep boys made me sign a written disclosure to take the truck let along drive it. I am sure the dealership will review and respond to this post and use some creative way to minimize or inaccurately portray the factual events but put yourself in my wife's place or my place driving a 5000lb truck with your two kids in it where the wheels can potentially fall off and injury your family or other's on the road. We'll I am good friends with someone who purchased a 2009 slAMG 63with 8,600 miles on it. She had this car for two months before the engine blew. Cracked block. She called Pierre Dupuis the general manager. She told him the engine is blown and she is sending it back. He refused it. He is taking no responsibility for the vehicle. I have never dealt with or seen anything like this in my life. I sent an internet query in. Teri Chew responded to the first email. I emailed back with questions and wanting info, she did not respond at all. I sent three emails over four days and she did not respond. My wife really wanted a Rover so we decided to just drive up and take a look at the SVR she wanted. A sales agent approached us while on the floor, answered all our questions, took us on a test drive. The wife was hooked. We started the buying process, he gave us his cell and said they needed a couple days to prep the vehicle. This was a Tuesday, Told us Friday noon was when to come back to take delivery. The next morning Teri Chew started blowing up my email stating the person we were dealing with was off and that we could come in and pick up that day. My wife and i were like that's a little weird. So i texted the individual we dealt with at the dealership and he confirmed he was off and they were a "tight" family at the dealership and if we wanted to get the vehicle not to worry it was in "his" name. We come in Friday noon, We walk up to the gentleman that had been so helpful and he said Teri will handle your delivery, and walked away. After waiting for 35 min here she comes, acts like everything is right as rain.. Meanwhile the person we thought we were dealing with is shooting us daggers, the tension was xxxxxxxx to the point i was like we should just leave, but the wife wanted the Rover. We take delivery and Teri is showing the wife the vehicle, Mean while I am sitting in the back getting pissed because they said they needed 3 days to detail as i'm looking at cobwebs, everything in the interior is dusty. there is a straw wrapper on the the floor and a ketchup packet under the driver seat. At this point we just want to take our new 123k vehicle home. We get home and none, and i mean none of the fancy features such as tracking, location, wifi , and vehicle status checks work. The next morning after spending 3 hours on the phone with Land Rover, Teri Chew set all our stuff up under her account and with her passwords, i mean xxx?!?
