I live in Arizona and thought that I wanted to purchase a car from this dealership. I asked the salesperson to share with me any dents, scratches, dings, defects, as I was purchasing remotely. The salesperson said the car was flawless and I believed him because the car had low miles. Fast forward and I receive a photo of the car and am able to zoom in- the car is beat up. He says, "I will unwind the deal." Great, crisis adverted, right? WRONG! Nearly a week later and now I'm receiving welcome letters from their finance company. It's showing on my Chase account that I have an active loan on this car. I called the bank and they have no account of the dealership cancelling the contract. It is infuriating that you have to pay for a subscription to remote start your car. My other cars have a choice of a free app or remote start from a key fob. They say the subscription is the only way, but they do not tell you this when purchasing the car. They wait until you realize it on your own and then they tell you there is nothing they can do. I would not under any circumstances recommend this dealership. I find what they did very shady and a money grab. The car is expensive enough on it's own, but to make you add a subscription to start your car? RIDICULOUS. read more

When I arrived (driving 30 minutes to get there) I was told that they don't do those kind of services on Saturdays and I need to leave. They made up a story that they left me a message (I did not get any calls or messages). What happened to this dealership? I had the front subframe crack on my 13 evoque. I asked them if they could do anything for me and was to No,, the cars out of warrenty. The frame rusted our and cracked in only 7 yrs. The windshield started leaking and somehow the car became immobile so I had to have it towed here to have it diagnosed and repair. Basically they say a wire was damaged from the computer to the ignition so they had to run a new wire for the cheapest repair cost. So that cost me $1600. When I went to pick it up I know why they charged me 1600 to run a wire, so they can pay for all the fuckin marble they lined the new showroom with. If I knew the shit box would fall apart in 7 yrs I wouldn't have brought it. read more

BEWARE - EXTENDED WARRANTIES ARE A SCAM!!!!! If I could give them zero stars for integrity and honesty I would. I purchased a used trade in Nissan Pathfinder Platinum from their dealership less than 1 year ago and bought an extended warranty 4 years/48,000 miles for the vehicle. The finance manager said it covered "virtually all the components in the car with a few minor exceptions and wear and tear parts". I specifically told them I wanted the warranty due to all the luxury components in the vehicle. My extended warranty isn't covering my blower amplifier for my HVAC system, leaking transfer case (even though it is listed under covered items), and seat climate control module. For the most part a satisfying and smooth experience, however, at times hiccups here and there that have been in the way of getting past a three star mark. When I offered to leave a deposit Alex said that it was not necessary and I was given the information for final payment (cash deal) and I followed up with my insurance information (car was added to my policy) and made an appointment to pick the car up at 10:00am the following day. Two hours later Alex calls me and says the car was not only sold but already delivered to another customer. I cannot believe that this would happen and if he accepted my deposit like normal business dealings my daughter would have her car now. Despite the fact that I have a Range Rover dealer 3 miles from my home in Paramus, NJ , I chose to drive 40 minutes to Parsippany because I read about the extremely high level of service at Land Rover Parsippany. And I experienced it first hand. We brought my son's car in for an electrical issue. The team quickly diagnosed the situation and ordered the part, which was on 4 day backorder. When I explained that my son needed to be back in school in 2 days I saw the Land Rover Parsippany team in action. Anthony, our service manager, was able to call in some favors and get the part installed in 2 days. While they had the car they identified and fixed some small issues, which they didn't charge us for.They also made arrangements to deliver my son's car to our house in the early morning so he could get on the road early. I will never bring my car for service to any dealer other than Land Rover Parsippany. They are levels above what we have experienced from our former dealership. read more

Made an appointment for Service on Friday, speaking with a pleasant young lady who set me up for one on Monday. Arrived and was greeted by a professional young man in the entry foyer who proceeded to visually check vehicle condition while directing me into well lit counter area where the Service Advisors were. Excellent signage and clearly a newer dealership made for easy drop off which was appreciated having not been here before. Spoke with Service Advisor Mike who confirmed my initial requests and asked poignant questions regarding a technical fault coincidentally experienced on the ride over. Told me it would probably be ready by Weds and off I went. Mike made a status call on Tuesday explaining what they had done so far and he would call tomorrow when ready. Weds morning he indeed called that all was now good and it was ready for pickup. Retrieved vehicle, drove home and called Mike back asking for him to verify something with technician. Good to his word he called back confirming my query satisfactorily. Realize this is a long review but I was initially concerned about coming here due to the poor Yelp Rating, but as it is closest dealer to my recently moved into North NJ home gave it a shot and wanted to reflect fully on the experience for any other apprehensive reader. read more

Legitimately the worst experience ever. To preface, the front desk girl is very nice, professional and was super accommodating when I had to reschedule my first appointment. I drove an hour to this location because my local Land Rover, Ray Catena in Edison, did not have any Evoques in stock. What a mistake. The appointment itself was terrible. I probably should have walked out when the salesperson, Raymond, while showing me a picture of a different model on his phone, "accidentally" swiped right, and showed an inappropriate, vile private picture. He was completely unapologetic and unprofessional. I reluctantly stayed as I'm in DESPERATE need of a new vehicle and was hoping I would go home tonight with a new Evoque. However, he refused to answer my questions and was extremely rude while obnoxiously answering text messages and other phone calls. I ALWAYS give people the benefit of the doubt and am fairly understanding which is why I even stayed as long as I did. The pandemic has even further lowered my expectations. But this was a completely mortifying, disgusting, disrespectful experience. They also have some shady business practices (price gauging etc) but to be fair in this market, I knew what I was walking into. I will not however, tolerate disrespect under any circumstances. Be prepared when you go to this dealership, to be treated as if you're buying a Chevy. Some, not all of the sales people are a little pushy, service will nitpick you for anything they can, and speaking to the manager will just be more aggravating than any issues you may have in the first place. If you do visit this dealership to buy a car, I suggest visiting others to find the best deal you can first. Then try to negotiate a better deal for yourself. Other than that, I highly recommend going to Paramus. My experience there was 1000% better if that's even possible. read more

How long does it take to replace two drip rail seals - rubber seals that run around the doors? Depends where you do it. -- At Paul Miller Land Rover, Parsippany it took 2 months and two visits. A month later the seals started coming off again. And in the process they managed to scratch the car paint and stain the vehicle inside. -- At Ray Catena the whole job was done in less than a day. I really wanted to like this dealership based on their location and had bit my tongue and not written any review my first bad experience I had here but after now having bad experiences with their sales department and service department I feel it important to save other people's time. My first bad experience was when I was purchasing my Range Rover, online I had seen they had the model of Range Rover I was looking for in the specific color and edition I wanted so I called to make sure the vehicle was still available and that there was someone to show me the car but once I arrived they had the car in the shop with the wheels and tires off changing them. They offered to let me drive other cars but because I was there to purchase a car not test out if I even liked that model I left and thankfully found the car I wanted at a dealership much further south. My second bad experience was with their service department. After purchasing my Range Rover further south I found the USB port to be slightly bent but because it was still under warranty figured it made sense to take it to the location that was most convenient for me which again, was this location. Initially I had a wonderful experience when I took the car in to be looked at they quickly agreed it was a warranty issue, ordered the part and said they'd call when it came in. A week passed and I hadn't heard anything so I called them. They said they call me back after checking but never did, so I called again a week later, no answer. At this point we had decided to ship the car to Washington state to use the car there so I called again, asking if the part would arrive before the end of November (when we scheduled to ship the car) and they ensured me that wouldn't be a problem because I had ordered the part on October 20th. Yesterday, DECEMBER 20th they called to ask if I still needed the part as if I'd been ignoring them and to call back "sooner rather than later" so I called them back asked if they could ship the part to the dealership in Washington or to my house there so I didn't have to start the process all over again but now despite this being a fully covered by warranty part they're refusing to give it to me so I have to start all over again. If you like to waste lots of time go to this dealership, otherwise I can't think of a reason to even think of going here. read more

UNTRUSTWORTHY DEALER / SERVICE DEPT I purchased two LR4's from Land Rover Parsippany. I also purchased an extended warranty for each (80K miles.) I also serviced my vehicles there prior to relocating recently to Massachusetts. So imagine my surprise when I take my 2012 5-liter V8 LR4 with 92K miles into a new dealer in Mass for a check engine light and they tell me they need to reassemble the engine, replace the timing chain and swap out all of the injectors for $12K!!!!!! Evidently, Land Rover issued a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) for this years ago (and within my warranty period) but no one at Land Rover Parsippany ever bothered to tell me about it! Had I known, I would have had this service done under warranty (but I guess that would have cost them a bit if money.) See the attached invoice from my recent repair. When I called down to Land Rover Parsippany to validate my extended warranty, I asked them why they never told me about this issue. To date, they haven't bothered to reply. read more
