And giving it to me at $58,986 with a rebate. When actually it's one of the 6 I asked from the internet which this one is priced online for $57,338 with the rebate making it 54,338. If we went along with my trade and I paid the difference we would had been in the ball park of $65,000 to $66,000 vs the 70,208 you wanted. 3rd time...3rd times the charm. I will do my best NOT to come to this particular dealership anymore. Every time I come here, I get treated like crap. First time, my husband and I came in to buy a Range Rover. Maybe it's because we aren't flashy people, did they assume we couldn't afford one??? I don't know, anyway they had us standing in the showroom for like 5 minutes with no one to greet us. Finally, I said excuse me to a man that already had passed by us twice. He wasn't busy, he was just ignoring us. We asked to look at some cars and he was slow to move. We went outside and he grabbed some keys but looked uninterested. And when I asked about pricing he gave me very nonnegotiable numbers. So I did some research and took my butt to Hornburg in Santa Monica and had the BEST experience. And drove off with my brand new Range Rover! You can actually read my review for them too! Few months later, I went back to Hornburg to inquire about a Jaguar and they were just as great to help! Fast forward, I had to get my car first serviced. I called Pasadena and made an appointment and ask for a loaner. When I arrived AGAIN I was ignored. When I met with the guy that I made my appointment with, he tried to up charge me in over $300 of unnecessary service. When I told him I bought the service package he was like "oh, so some of this stuff is not covered" He tried to make me do all this stuff to my tires which were still new AND told me he was doing me a favor for getting me a rental from across the street at Enterprise. "We only give loaners to people that reserve them" "I did, I made the appointment with you on the phone...remember?" I wrote a unsatisfactory review and he called me and said "Uh, thank you for the review" So lame... Finally, yesterday, I had to take the car in because my low coolant light came on, but coincidentally I had just received a coupon for a free multi-point inspection. Great! When I drove in, there was someone greeting guests and I told her about the coolant and the free inspection. Then she directs me to an advisor and guess what...yup, SO rude! He told me there is no time until after the new year. And pretty much brushed me off. I was annoyed and decided I'm done with this place. I just told him to fill my coolant so my car doesn't explode and left. I checked when I got home and they had appointments available for next week! Once you get the car, you will fInd out 1. Car has lots of problems (mine is a Range Rover evoque) 2. You can never get a service appointment within a 2 month wait. Yes, two month with a car that is just 4 month new and having major engine problems 3. Don't make appointment from their online system because it's a lie, they will call (or not call) you and tell you "sorry it's actually computer error and you don't have appointment. 4. Even if you walk in, the service guy will come out and said they have too many car, they can't take yours, they won't even check if your car (their product) is safe to drive. 5. When you make a complaint, I mean it's a luxury car....you got junk yard service.... they would tell you go ahead make complain to Land Rover USA, there is nothing they can do! The WORST WORST service I have ever encountered! Go get a X3 or a Forester (which are more reliable on car performance and way better service) I am so mad and disappointed! My wife and I visited Land Rover yesterday to see the new Defender. I was just curious had no intention of purchasing a new Land Rover. The salesman, Terry Heitman, greeted us and offered to show us the vehicle - we showed up on our tandem bike and clearly did not look the part of being wealthy enough to purchase a new Land Rover. Unfortunately, the Defender did not meet my expectations. On the way out, we spotted a Land Rover Evoque on the lot. Terry was very gracious and opened the car for us and demonstrated the features. My wife fell in love with it and we ended up buying it. Then it struck me, Terry is the same sales person we had talked to a year ago when I had a question about the Evoque. Having purchased a number of cars, I can tell you that he is the most knowledgeable, professional, polite, and non-pressured salesman I have ever come across. We are picking up our car today. Terry set aside his day off to come in to show us how to program and operate all the features. I am fairly knowledgeable when it comes to purchasing a vehicle - dealer holdbacks, scams on the invoice, etc. I have walked away from most dealerships just because their sales folks are so inexperienced and their prices are a ripoff (Bob Smith Toyota takes top honors). My husband just came back angry from the dealership again! I wondered what had happened. Cuz it has been couple times he came back pretty upset from this dealership. I can't say much about the previous experience but I only could put it as in unprofessional. I will talk about this one tho, since it is fresh. We booked an appointment in regards of our rover's auto start eco function cuz it does not work and the rover is about one year old now. We waited waited patiently for about 3 weeks to see the service advisor. My husband came back home just well after 15 mins of his what supposed to be the appointment time. I asked what happened to the car anyways?! And what happened to you ?! He said the advisor said the auto start is not fixable cuz it is not a Brand NEW car! And the advisor's attitude is extremely rude. What does the advisor means by it is not a NEW car?! If it is a NEW car then we don't have to fix anything, DO WE?! We didn't waited 3 weeks to have you tell us it is not fixable cuz it is not brand new. What exactly do you mean anyways?! Our one year old car is old and not fixable!? And not new enough you don't want to deal with? I understand there's not much landrover dealership out there and I guessed you know we really depend on you guys to fix our car so therefore we have no choice then to swallow your ridiculous reason. I am a 5x Land Rover purchaser; 4/5 were from Pasadena Land Rover. Not ever because I thought they were customer focused; but because they were the closest dealer to where I live. Their service has always been sub-par. Long waits, no loaner cars. Recently I had the worst experience, one that will make me choose another brand in the future. It took over a week to even look at my car, then another 2 weeks to complete a relatively simple repair. The service manager "Denny" failed to call me back for almost 2 weeks, despite 3 messages being left. Land Rover Customer assistance "passed the buck", stating they are an Independent Dealer. The service was good in the beginning once I checked in, but it took them over a week to change my censor. They didn't provide me with any car whatsoever. I thought when the brand new car has an issue the least they can do is to provide another car while they're fixing yours. I called them one day prior and told them to prepare and wash my car so that I can pick it up but when I got there my car was dirty and when I asked them why is my car dirty they told me they washed it yesterday and it's a dust from a freeway. I'm so disappointed and regret getting a Range Rover at this point. I had a 9am appt that I made a week ago and had requested a loaner vehicle at the time of the appt (I had figured out by now that unless you do this, they send you across the street to Enterprise Rental to sit and wait and get a rental vehicle from them), so knowing this, I made sure to request it at the time I made the appt. I show up a few minutes before 9 (want to respect their schedule and this is why we make appts). I waited until 9:30 until my service advisor, Abel, was ready for me. I go in slightly frustrated because I have never waited so long for service with any of my previous vehicles (Lexus, Audi, BMW, Etc) and I needed to get to work. He goes over a few things and it was a reminder that regular service/maintenance isn't covered, etc....now he tells me (it's about 9:45 and my appt was 9) that I need to walk over across the street to Enterprise to get a loaner!! I told him, I've already waited over half an hr and had made sure to request this loaner when I made the appt a week ago and now he wants to send me across the street to wait some more and go through a rental company while I'm paying monthly for a Range Rover? At this point, I was beyond annoyed and feel like this is the worst service I've ever experienced especially at a luxury car dealership!!! I would understand delay, had this been an isolated incident however, I had this same experience a year ago. The service department during a previous mechanical problem had my vehicle four weeks. They demonstrated extremely poor customer service and communication at that time. Currently, the deal ship has had my vehicle for two weeks and not a single individual has initiated a call to update me from the service department. After a dozen calls literally, I finally got Clayton (service manger) on the phone who had no updates for me. A few days later I spoke with Kevin (service Rep) text me that the car was being looked at. Another week has gone by, keep in mind this is three weeks and to date, no work has been done.
