First problem I had was the car battery was basically dead and they can simply replace it through warranty, so I called ask if we can bring it in. I believe I spoke with Clayton and he said well if it still starts you should be fine, when it won't start anymore you can bring it in and we will replace it for you. At first I thought I was hearing things wrong but I was just shocked how cheap they sound saying that when Land Rover is suppose to be high end well now that I've been a customer here this just showed me otherwise. When it comes to luxury SUVs I have a soft spot for Land Rover... Specifically the Range Rover Sport. It is no accident that I have personally been involved in the purchase of 3 Range Rovers from Land Rover of Pasadena-- specifically two RRS and one Evoque. The sales staff at Land Rover of Pasadena is professional and very helpful. The latest purchase was a 2015 Range Rover Sport. The negotiation process was to the point and they were the only dealership out out 4 dealers that were willing to be flexible with the lease payment. Keep in mind that in the Southern California region there's currently no discount at all on the full-size Range Rover as well as the Range Rover Sport so really what you can negotiate on is just your interests money factor and your down payment. There was a minor issue... With regard to different wheel and tire specifications of the vehicle that we purchased. When this was raised to the sales manager at the dealership they quickly put together an action plan to rectify the situation. Granted there was a short wait but the dealership and end up making it right for us and I'm very grateful for them making a right for us since we are loyal customers. We are in the OC and of course tried working with Anaheim Hills Newport Beach Mission Viejo and so on and for us to go outside of our area and buy at Pasadena....you should know then they do offer a very unique experience and for that highly recommended as a dealership you should all go there. I walked into the dealership passing several sales people but didn't receive single greeting for 20 minutes. After finally requesting for a salesperson for help from the receptionist, I waited another 20 minutes until this disheveled overweight bald sales guy who was just standing around doing nothing was told to help us. He was so rude and moved like 0 miles per hour....he proceeded to ask me what I was currently driving and told me to get ready to pay way more than my Mercedes, assuming that I was not going to be able to afford it. The only thing that he wanted to tell me about the range rover that I was interested in was that it was white. I've never experienced such a rude salesman who didn't even want to sell a car. Dont waste your time here. You will walk out disappointed. I'm surprised that land rover would even keep a person like that on their staff. Robert was very professional, courteous and really went above and beyond to make my wife a very camper. Robert promised everything and over delivered! This review is for the service department, my wife's brand new range rover check engine light turned on after only 5,000 miles. I had to call several times for someone to finally answer the phone during a span of 6 hours and when making an appointment I wanted to make sure they have a loaner available and I explained I would be willing to wait a couple extra days to ensure a loaner was available but the lady kept going in circles on how they dont have loaners, but then they do but they can't reserve it, but maybe they can but can't guarantee it. We recently purchased a 2016 Range Rover Sport from Land Rover of Pasadena. From the onset, Widad Shalabi was personable and took a very honest approach at finding us our desired vehicle. Initially, I went into Land Rover of Pasadena, after a bad experience at another Land Rover dealership. Widad attempted to trade the vehicle, from the previous dealership, but to no avail. I spent another week calling every Land Rover dealership including Hornburg, which was a complete mistake, only to hear "sorry we can't" or "you are going to have to wait until we get another shipment." The morning of December 31, Widad emailed me with news that she had just received a new RR Sport, and if I were interested she would make the deal happen. After several emails/phone calls, we came to an agreement on the down payment/monthly payments. Unfortunately, I was scheduled to catch a flight to New York that evening, and could not make it to the dealership with enough time to make my flight. Can you believe that Widad made the trip to meet me, and sign the contract, to insure that the vehicle would not be sold by the time I returned from my trip???? Overall, she was very low pressure through the entire process and we didn't experience any of those sales gimmicks that we worry about when shopping for a new vehicle. The negotiation was straightforward and she didn't waste our time with unmet promises. There was a minor mishap with the down payment, but Widad took the initiative to clarify any misunderstanding. We had an all around great experience at Land Rover of Pasadena and will return for our next purchase. My wife and I have been looking for a vehicle larger than our current sedan to make things easier for our now 1 yr old son, and she has set her sight on a RR or RR Evoque for quite some time already. Already ownjng a german and a japanese car, she'd like to try something else. We are fortunate enough to be patient and just waiting for the right time to pick one up. That moment arrived, and entered Widad Shalabi. I brought in my sleeping boy, lucky me, one afternoon and was introduced to Widad for our RR Evoque inquiries. She was extremely courteous and accomodating, as i was telling her from the get go, that i would only have 15-20 mins that day to seek answers, to drop off the specs, and to leave my contact with her. After a few days of follow ups and back and forth emails, she found the Evoque that we have been looking for, and the rest was pretty much history. Maybe i could have exercised more due diligence as a buyer, but Widad made me, my wife, and my son feel extremely comfortable during this entire process, that really turned out to be a quite enjoyable experience. She might not be a seasoned vet just yet, but just as you might have expected her to be pushy or aggressive, trying to prove herself as a young driven sales associate, i think her efficient approach was the one thing that made us take home a RR Evoque that day. Informed buyers expect the obvious, but experiencing the entire process yourself is a bit different. I strongly endorse Widad as a RR sales person at LR pasadena. Like most of us, I have had my reservations about using a dealer to service my truck instead of an independent mechanic, but I'm constantly impressed with this service team. There is a Service Advisor named Clint who greets me by name and makes sure I'm happy throughout my visit each and every time. He actually knows these cars well as I can ask him anything and he always a very thorough answer. I'm on my 4th Range Rover and I actually USE it as a truck in the snow/back country and the dirt, mud, etc. Though I wrote previously that I was untrusting after they got rid of my regular advisor there, I have to admit that I spoke too soon. They made eye contact with us but never got up, never said hello, just continued working. The worst customer service I've ever experienced at a car dealership. These people are apparently too good to greet potential customers. We managed to get one guy out of his seat, to which he didn't seem thrilled about at all, and asked to test drive a car. I love Range rovers and have wanted one for many years. Had it for almost a year and love driving it, but the service department baffles me. The maintenance service was asking for 784 bucks for a simple maintenance service, the man Kevin seemed like a good guy but that is a crazy fee for annual maintenance of a leased new car. I've leased for many years and this number is ludicrous, as is the system at Pasadena for booking a service which seems to be solely reliant on one hard working guy to get back to you. I can not afford a maintenance service on a leased car like that. My advice if you have a lease would be do the bare minimum requirement, which is an oil change with receipt elsewhere. Love the car no real complaints whatsoever about it, but the coverage for maintenance and system for a service at this location is really poor. read more

Fantastic! Pros: Ruben took me on a no pressure test drive. When I decided to come for a second look it was his day off but he instantly arranged for Widad to assist me. Widad was just as terrific as Ruben! I purchased the vehicle that night and have had a smile on my face in the drivers seat ever since. This is the greatest vehicle I've ever owned! The LWB is amazing and big enough for me. Oh yeah, the driving wall is great! Cons: They are not competitive with trade-ins but, so what, can't expect them to do everything. My wife and I went to this dealership yesterday with the intent of getting 2 vehicles and unfortunately the "salesman" didn't know his product and we left wondering if he even liked cars. He was a nice guy but he knew nothing about the Range Rover Sport, Velar or Discovery. When asked for him to share some of the features and bells and whistles he told us it had "cruise control, heated seats and there was a backup camera that also has a 360 degree view". He struggled finding words to use to describe the very product he was supposedly selling. We counted 4 or 5 times that he said " I don't know the answer to that" and to top it off at the end he had no business cards(not that we were calling him or coming back) so he wrote his name and number on a pink post it. It was mind blowing and even hilarious that this happened at a luxury dealership and what's even more mind boggling is that the Pasadena Land Rover dealership let's a person on their sales floor who knows nothing about their luxury line of SUVs.
