    Shrimp and rice plate
    Raul R.

Very much enjoyed the shrimp and rice plate I ordered here. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor, especially when you add some of the condiments provided. This was a delivered order so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere. However, it's located in the heart of OC so I might stop by to dine in sometime soon. I definitely plan on trying their pho when it's not 90 degrees outside.

Came for lunch with my co-workers since we were nearby for a meeting. There was plenty of parking available. We were a party of six and seated without any delays. The staff were friendly and full of smiles. It looked like there were groups of people who were working nearby or just family and friends. We ordered spring rolls and fried chicken wings to share. I thought they were just ok. Spring rolls were a little bland, even with the dipping sauce. It was odd that the peanuts in the dipping sauce were not crushed I think that would've helped improve the taste. The wings came out, kind of dry as if they were not as fresh. I ordered the vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and shrimp and egg rolls. There's a decent amount of food that comes with this dish. I wasn't a fan of some of the extra fatty pieces of pork. Additionally, they were in big pieces and it was hard to eat without a knife or scissors. Similarly, the peanuts were not crushed, and it was just a little strange. I did not finish my food because it just wasn't tasting that great. If I'm in the area again, I think I will try their pho.

Good oxtail pho my favorite with a banana boba on the side. The chili oil is always on point. Service is quick and fast. Good energy all around many kinds of people come and go

Came in on a Thursday early dinner time and got seated immediately. Servers were attentive and friendly. Got my usual order of pho tai. It was good but not the best broth I've ever had. I wish the cuts of the rare steak was thinner and there were some fattier pieces that I didn't like so much, but there was that much of them and it was easy enough to avoid. I did like their fries with shaken beef! I wish the green sauce was a little bit spicier but I could honestly drink that green sauce! Delicious!!

Delicious pho with generous portions! The XL bowl actually comes with more noodles, meat, and toppings not just extra broth which made it incredibly satisfying. Unlike some other pho restaurants that simply add more soup to make a larger bowl, this place gives you more of everything that matters. The service was excellent, and the restaurant has a welcoming, kid-friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back!

Service a great and fast when it comes to ordering pho. Plenty of seats and gets busy at lunch time, but not overly crowded. Portions are very big and very filling. Pho broth has good flavor but luke warm, and tons of meats from steak, meatballs, tendons and green onions. 4/5 Enjoyed the Thai iced tea but wasn't as sweet. 3/5 Mung Bean for Dessert is my favorite part after our meal, compliments from the restaurant. Love the taste of this mung bean dessert. 5/5

My go to work stop for pho, vermicelli, and lemongrass chicken. It's one of those consistent places where you always get the same quality and portions. Their pho is BIG! Bigger than most places I think. The lemongrass chicken (sub white rice for red rice) is always good, and vermicelli is always a good option if you want something just heavy enough but slightly refreshing. Nothing extravagant but always what you expect. Their tap water is also not great so hydrate well beforehand. It gets busy during rush hour lunch so just plan accordingly.

We've long visited the same Vietnamese restaurant in Tustin, even after multiple change of owners, a drop in quality, and steadily rising prices. Sadly, my kids are stubborn and resistant to try a new place! That's why I lied and drove them to Simply Pho. Yes, the howled and moaned the whole ride. Onto the actual review... The interior is very modern and slick and the staff were friendly and helpful. The shrimp spring rolls were fantastic (especially the peanut sauce!). I had bun with pork/shrimp/eggroll. I'm not a huge fan of shell-on shrimp, but I lived. Everything was very tasty and high quality and I thought the value was much better than our usual haunt. My kids enjoyed their beef pho and chicken with rice. We loved it enough that I hope to come back soon!

Wonderful service and flavorful broth. Plus, free Thai tea!I ordered a large #1 and A3.

The food here is good. The prices are okay, average for the Y2KXXV (2025-present day) era where so many of us have to acknowledge the quarter century gone by since the year 2000 with inflation and cost of living adjustments. The one thing I think could be improved to their Vietnamese cuisine peer restaurants is slightly larger portions, simply "more noodles" a low overhead cost would probably make this place busier and with insignificant profit loss but overall higher revenue gain. The Garlic Noodles are perfect, not overwhelming nor overpowering. Easy parking.

I ordered shrimp fried rice! $18.95 for the plate. The shrimp still had all the poop inside. It was rubbery. The rice looked like they threw the whole frozen peas bag in there. Overall did not like it all. Not worth the money.

We ordered the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls to start. Amazing!!! For dinner, I ordered Grilled Chicken over vermicelli and my boyfriend ordered Pho Fish Fillet. Mine was so good, fresh and flavorful. My boyfriend really enjoyed his. He said it hit the spot! The servers were nice but didn't come around very often to check in. It was so good, I forgot to take a picture. This was the aftermath.

Along with that, our table also ordered: the quail with sticky rice ($20.99), salted fish and shrimp fried rice ($24.99), shaken beef with garlic noodles ($22.99), bok choy with sautéed garlic ($12.99), a hot tea ($4.00), Coca-Cola ($5.50), a mojito ($15.00), and a margarita ($15.00). With tax ($17.71), our ticket was $209.16 before gratuity. The NOLA Grilled Oysters come sizzling on a hot griddle, with four different fillings, four pieces each, for a total of 16 oysters. The price might seem a bit indulgent, but not if you consider the effort and ingredients that go into this presentation. Each type was flavorful, and there wasn't a single one I didn't enjoy. The salted fish fried rice was an interesting experience. I enjoyed the dish, though the salted fish was less salty than I expected. Someone in our group, who usually doesn't like salted fish fried rice because they find it too salty, actually liked this version for its milder flavor. The plate also includes four large shrimp. The shaken beef was tasty and tender; the garlic noodles were al dente and had just enough garlic--not excessive. The sautéed garlic added a smoky, nutty taste to the bok choy. The quail was marinated well and tasted good--but I wonder if it was fried just a bit too long. After this meal, I chatted with a friend who lives in the community. He'd been to this spot before but dismissed it as just another seafood boil joint. After our conversation, though, he said he'd be willing to give it another shot. I guess your impression of this restaurant depends, at least in part, on what you order. The service, by the way, was excellent. How does a place mess up fried food?? The shrimp taco, mahi mahi plate and calamari is what got this plate an extra star. The amount of shrimp in their $5.50 taco was sad. They cut up what looked like two medium sized shrimp into 1 cm pieces and stuck it in. The taco was mostly tortilla and cheese! The mahi mahi pieces were strangely small and cut up to the size of fish sticks... At least the calamari had some flavor. We ordered a good amount of food: Chilean seabass hotpot, mango escargot salad, razor clams, snails in tamarind sauce, snails in coconut (Ốc len xào dừa), chicken wings, and soda chanh dây. Most of the food was really good. The favorites were the mango escargot salad, the razor clams, and the snails in tamarind sauce. All of those dishes were amazing and I recommend. Of those, the snails in tamarind were my favorite, as the tamarind sauce was amazing and paired nicely with the snails. The soda chanh dây (passionfruit soda) was amazing as well, and I recommend getting a jug (or two) if you have a big party. The Chilean seabass hotpot was just alright. The fish was great, however, the broth was a little too sweet for mine and my party's taste. Also, the snails in coconut were alright, as I've had better from other places. Service was great overall and food came out quickly and the staff was attentive. Parking was pretty easy, as it is located in a plaza with a big parking lot. Overall, probably my go to spot for snails when I am craving them. The wait time can get long, so recommend going before 6:30 if going for dinner.

The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly.
