Quaint spot off of the street. We were seated quickly and menus were placed. We ordered Chicken fried rice, veggie egg rolls and Kaikua noodles. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and just cooked. Really good food folks, come on in here and enjoy it. Helpful and friendly staff and decently clean restaurant.

Nice local Thai restaurant with a varied menu, delicious food and excellent service! We went for lunch, starting with a small Tom Kha soup which was plenty for two. A refreshing mini spinach salad was a pleasant inclusion on the lunch specials. Green Curry with chicken and Pad Thai with chicken well prepared and enjoyable, as well as the hot tea and the Thai iced coffee. Seating is pleasant and comfortable, and when the weather is better after seating available as well. Looking forwardto my next visit.

Easily our favorite Thai restaurant nearby. Thai Towne eatery has a homey feel, with authentic Thai food. Our favorite is their pad thai. We tried their shrimp roll appetizer and sticky rice on our last visit. Both were SO good! Every dish here is delicious! And very friendly service each time we visit. It is a small restaurant located inside Orange Circle, but leaves a huge satisfactory mark on your heart

Came here for dinner. The place is clean and the staff is nice and accommodating. We ordered the massaman curry with beef, pad thai, and mango sticky rice to go. They seemed busy so it took a long time for each item to come out. Massaman Curry with Beef- The sauce is delicious! So much flavor and you get a lot of carrots, potatoes, and peanuts. The beef could have cooked longer though, it wasn't very tender. Pad Thai- Noodles are nice and chewy. The vegetables have a lovely crunch to them. It could have used a bit more of the ground peanuts though, and the sauce was a little too sour for my liking. Mango Sticky Rice- We ordered it to go and it traveled really well! The coconut sauce has a nice flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. Mangoes are ripe and juicy. Experience was okay overall but improvements could be made.

This is hidden gem tucked away in the orange circle. This is a very quaint restaurant a few tables and booths; clean and inviting! Our server was a really sweet lady, too bad I failed to get her name. We order House chicken fried rice, Kai Kua beef with flat noodles, and eggs rolls. The food was fresh and light. Prices were pretty standard for this type of meal, about 18 dollars per entree l, but it's shareable. The dishes came out at different times, but that didn't bother us. We plan to return to try out the other dishes.

I'm visiting from out of town, and had a peaceful experience. The ambience is very quiet and pleasant. It's in an alleyway with other restaurants and it feels very intimate. Great for a solo lunch date, which is what I did, or even to come with friends.

This is a hidden gem! Strongly recommend for authentic Thai food that's freshly made. There's a bit of wait for your food to come out but that's reasonable for the delicious food! I wa surprised but how good the steak salad was.

The food is good, I really love the pad Thai. Green curry is good too. I would recommend coming here for food.

In the heart of Old Town Orange, within easy walking distance of shops, ice cream, and coffee. The food is solid Thai, with good spice balance and flavorful curries. Service was consistently great--friendly, attentive, and helpful with menu picks. Portions are generous, and the location makes it a perfect stop before or after a stroll. Worth a visit for reliable flavors and a welcoming vibe.

Tucked away from the main strip and nestled in a cute courtyard, it's easy to overlook this Thai place when there are so many trendy restaurants in the neighborhood. The interior of the restaurant doesn't add much ambiance either, as the furniture is dated and the decor kitsch. Then again, who comes to a Thai restaurant for its upscale dining experience? It's the food, and the food does not disappoint. It took a while for my green curry with tofu to be prepared, but when it came out, it tasted like the physical manifestation of divinity. I asked for mild spiciness, and it was barely spicy. There is no shortage of fragrance and the curry is rich without being salty. If there's any bone to pick, it could be judged too sweet by some. For my taste buds, it was perfect. The rice was fluffy and fragrant as well. Service was wonderful, despite having just one server attending all of the tables. I never felt neglected. I don't have the ultimate authority judging the authenticity of the food, but it was satisfying and delicious.

If you haven't been to Royal Thai Orchid of late, you've got to make it a point to get there!…read more Their food is not only delicious, it was beautifully presented and reasonably priced. I've probably been to every Thai restaurant in Orange and hands down, Royal Thai Orchid is the best. We ordered spring rolls, yum woon sen salad, garlic chicken (not sure of the name) and coconut ice cream. The spring rolls with shrimp came with a tasty peanut dipping sauce and everything within the rice paper wrap, including the shrimp, was wonderfully fresh. The Yum Woon Sen Salad was absolutely Yummy (sorry, couldn't resist that). It is a salad made with mung bean noodles. The noodles were great and the salad was dressed in a mouthwatering lime dressing. Royal Thai offers a nice array of lunch specials for $12.95. Their lunch special entrees come with a small green salad, a little fruit, and of course, rice. It's a great price for such a delicious lunch! We ordered garlic chicken (not sure of the name) and was not only impressed with how delicious it was, but found that the veggies were perfectly cooked to a tender crisp. Even their lunch specials are beautifully plated. Their coconut ice cream was the best I've ever had. They make it fresh in-house and although they call it ice cream, doing so does not do it justice. The texture is unlike any ice cream I've had; you just have to taste it for yourself. I challenge you to find a $6 desert of this quality anywhere else in Orange. This restaurant has been around since the 80s but took a downturn around the time of the Covid shut downs. The new owners, Sam and Coco (yup, we had to ask), have re-created a terrific little restaurant for lunch or dinner. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed. Just a note: I typically order my Thai food "medium" but I did order the salad as a two out of 5 chilis and that was perfect for me. So if you're in doubt, err on the side of caution and start out with a little less spice.

They did apologize for the wait which is much appreciated but wow that's a long time an we were a little late to the hockey game. If I'm in the area again I'd still try it again. Can't complain about the delicious food :)

The restaurant only had 3 tables, 1 is a 2 top and the other 2 are pushed together to make 4 tops. When you enter you place your order with the cashier. Note on the menu their dishes do not include proteins, you have to add those as extra with an extra cost. We ordered the curry puffs since we read about them in the reviews. I ordered pad see ewe with broccoli on the side to give to my hubby. They use American broccoli here and not Chinese broccoli. Hubby ordered Pad Thai. We also wanted mango sticky rice but they were sold out for the day. We both ordered cups of water which were served in small plastic cups. Asked for lemon slices and received lime slices. The Sriracha and Soy sauce arrived in small packets and they brought us metal plates and silverware. Food came out in a decent amount of time. It's made to order so you do need to wait some. The restaurant was clean and not too noisy. The curry puff was a bit dry inside and not juicy at all. The crust was flaky and crispy and we enjoyed that. We came here at night so maybe if it was earlier in the day it would have tasted better? My Pad Se Ewe tasted good and I appreciated they were able to do the broccoli separately. My hubby liked his Pad Thai as well. The portion sizes were ok and we both finished our plates. If you plan on coming here during lunch or dinner time I imagine you will need to order it to go as it's so small inside. When we got there the first table was full, we took the middle tables and another party of 4 came in and took the last table. If we are in the area and it's not busy we will definitely return. However, if it's busy we will go elsewhere as we would not be able to sit and enjoy our meal there due to lack of seating.

We stopped by for lunch and ordered a pad see ew, a green Thai curry lunch special and a crab lump fried rice. My daughter always orders pad see ew, that's the one dish she gets every single time. The presentation was beautiful. At first bite she dropped her fork and said "omg, mommy this is so good. It's the best!" My green curry was flavorful. I ordered it with pork. I thought they could've given a little more white rice but it does come with two egg rolls and a salad. All for $13.50! The crab fried was perfectly seasoned with a hint of sweetness. The rice wasn't mushy or anything. Just perfectly done. I thought the quality of the crab could be better, it was shredded in texture and tasted watered down. Maybe next time I'll just settle for the claw which is a little cheaper. All in one, it was a very good meal. We all enjoyed it very much!
