    Cream cheese wonton

Great food portions! Great flavor. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and nice! The only thing was the food was only lighly warm bordering on room temperature. I can reheat it once home but I did eat it there but left with a lot of left overs as they give big portions. The cream cheese wonton were also very good and the house made sauce was delicious

Hit the spot!! I was craving some tofu and decided to order from Lantern Garden. I ordered the country style tofu, and a couple other meals for the week. I got the shrimp fried rice, country style tofu, and kung pao shrimp. I skipped the appetizers and just went with entrees. The country style tofu was good. I love the firm tofu! Yummy. I enjoyed the shrimp fried rice too. That was really good and the shrimps in that were cooked perfectly. The kung pao shrimp definitely had some heat to it, but it was still good. Overall, all 4 of the entrees I ordered came out good. I love that they have a happy hour special on door dash!

I was craving chow mein and orange chicken and wanted to try something different than the chain restaurants. Unfortunately Lantern Garden fell short of my expectations for the quality of their food. Their chow mein noodles were oily and didn't have a ton of veggies in them. The chicken, both orange and mushroom, had several gnarly pieces that made you question whether or not to continue eating them.. overall was not for me. Pros: portion size and friendliness of the staff

I could have sworn I already did a review of this place, since I am such a huge fan. The food here is delicious. The broccoli beef is some of the best I've had. I also love the orange chicken and green bean chicken. The fried rice is tasty and also the chow mein. The egg rolls are fresh and crunchy. The won ton soup is also great. Service is always wonderful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is simple and casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a few tables, but it's more of a take out spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One box of food can feed two people or be 2 meals.

Relatively cheap for the area, the staff is nice and the portions are massive for what you pay! Really good authentic food as well. Unfortunately there are no free refills but that doesn't take away from the experience

Delivery order seemed to hold up well. Portions very large. Good price for quality and size.

Parking was easy, no wait to be seated on a Thursday evening and service was prompt and also checked up on us throughout the meal. Szechuan eggplant - so yum, arrived piping hot, it was coated in a super thin breading first before being fried and then coated in the Szechuan sauce. Slightly spicy, tangy and sweet, the classic Szechuan eggplant. Fish with veggies - loved how light but flavorful this dish was. Tender fish filet with garlic and a bunch of veggies, doesn't look very flavorful but it was very good! Would get again as a lighter dish compared to the others. Garlic pork - 魚香肉絲 this is typically my favorite dish in Chinese restaurants and saw it titled similarly in the menu but realized it's not cut into 絲 and it included celery, which the dish typically does not include. Not complaining though, the flavor was still great and I loved the dish, just different than what I expected. Sesame chicken - similar to orange chicken but without the orange flavor. Came piping hot and had good pieces of chicken within the breading. Sweet and sour, liked the flavor alot. The dishes came with rice! Would totally come back again to try the other dishes. Happy to find a local spot where I can get Chinese food as there are not too many options around here.

My husband ordered the seafood boil style shrimp. We also ordered extra egg rolls for appetizers. The egg rolls came out instantly! They were soggy and cold. Did not come with any dipping sauce either. The chow mein had a shrimp taste to it, a strong shrimp taste! Very turned off by that. The kung pao chicken was "ok" there were more vegetables than chicken. The seafood boil style shrimp was TERRIBLE! Had very little seasoning, hardly any sauce and came lukewarm. Yuck on many levels. The service was just as bad as the food. Never checked on us ONCE or even spoke to us for that matter, after taking our order, other than to give us the bill. Rude as hell. Really pissed at the friend that recommended this place. Hoping I can spare some of you the trouble and wasted money. It's trash. Would never come back.

Parking was shared with Hyatt Hotel and could be difficult to find a spot. Nice casual restaurant. Clean. Small only a few tables. Siu long bao was on. Fried rice could be MUCH less greasy. The minced meat on the noodles was overly greasy too. I understand this was a casual eatery, however it almost disservices the chubby brand. May not go again unless I would be at Disneyland. It indeed is conveniently located near Disneyland.

I apparently have emotional support soup. They're open late, which automatically earns bonus points for me. Sometimes a hot and sour soup craving crashes into my evening at 9 PM with the urgency of a medical emergency, and it's deeply reassuring to know that Lantern Garden is standing by to answer the call. The auntie working behind the counter was incredibly kind and patiently explained the entree options when I asked whether they came with rice. When I learned that a side bowl was $3, I briefly slipped into my "back in the day" era and held a tiny memorial service for the days when rice practically came free. Then I remembered it's 2026, sighed dramatically, and accepted my fate. I ordered the one bowl special with country style tofu, and of course, the hot and sour soup. The soup arrived at approximately the temperature of the earth's molten core. Did that stop me from taking an immediate bite? Of course not. I nearly sacrificed my taste buds because patience has never been one of my defining traits. It was worth every poor life decision. The soup was everything I'd been craving- tangy, savory, deeply comforting, and gloriously vinegar-forward. Every spoonful felt like my sinuses were receiving a warm hug while my soul quietly unclenched. If this soup had a loyalty program, I'd already be working toward platinum status. The country style tofu was equally delightful. The tofu was soft, fluffy, and wonderfully sponge-like, happily soaking up every drop of the savory sauce. Onions, serrrano peppers, carrots, and mushrooms, rounded everything out, creating a dish that somehow tasted both hearty and comforting, like something my childhood would have loved, even if it had never actually eaten it. The biggest plot twist was the portion size. What I assumed would be dinner turned into dinner and tomorrow's lunch. A few things spark as much joy as realizing future me has already been fed by past me's questionable ability to estimate portion sizes. Between the generous servings, genuinely warm service, late night hours, and a hot and sour soup that has already claimed permanent residency in my brain, I'll absolutely be back. At this point, it's less a question of if and more a question of when the next soup craving comes knocking.

In addition, the lady had a hard time understanding basic English and got upset when I corrected a mistake she made.
